To top it off results are not returning to Dr. as well in a timely manner (2 weeks for mammogram result and we had to call Centrelake to see where they are.) Not acceptable. First time taking my 90 years old mom with appointment But waited more than an hour because technician is on lunch on our appointment time. Talk to manager / supervisor but very hopeless . did not even apologize. Very rude and unprofessional. They told me to just cancel and change the appointment after I took day off. Never will go back. I have been to your office numerous times this year for Breast Ultrasound ,Breast Mammogram and now a Breast MRI. At this point I was very nervous about all the tests. Juan took the time to explain the process clearly about the contrast injection , answering all my questions and he made me feel safe and comfortable. He brought in a female staff member to assist with the setup /laying me down on the MRI machine and Juan carried out the procedure with the utmost respect and professionalism. I went in for an MRI and having anxiety it could be very terrifying. LILY did an amazing job at making sure I was okay before I started and during the procedure asked me if I was okay she was very patient and that is not a common quality for some In healthcare. Being a nurse I appreciate her empathy towards me!! She reassured me in the end that this is normal and I shouldn't worry. we spoke about alternatives and although I couldn't complete the mri atleast I left knowing I had a great experience ! This imaging location is clean and well-organized. They provide refrigerated water bottles and coffee which I appreciate. The receptionists are incredibly respectful and friendly. My ultrasound technician was not only professional but also very kind. She ensured my comfort and throughout the procedure. I was in and out quick, which is a definite bonus. read more

I had to schedule an ultrasound and was helped by a very professional, efficient representative...Kimberly. Kimberly answered my call fairly quickly, without having to wait on hold for a representative, which can sometimes take a while. I've had to schedule a few different imaging sessions within the past year and have had to wait on hold to speak with someone, which I know that it can take a few minutes or longer. I get it, I"m not the only person trying to schedule imaging sessions. She did not take my inquiry lightly! As soon as I gave her my DOB, she had found my authorization and made me an appointment at the time I preferred, date that I chose and the location is a hop-skip-and-a-jump away from my residence!!! Terrible service regarding appointments. Cindy was extremely rude from the start of the call and said that I will "never" get an MRI a week away because that was too soon for them. She refused to look for a re-faxed authorization and said I have to wait several days before it shows up on her system, even though the authorization was initially sent three weeks prior. When I asked to speak with a supervisor she said Demetrius would call me back immediately but no one has called me back. I still have no appointment and the doctor is waiting for the MRI results. Care quality is terrible here. I urgently need the test and Cindy was unwilling to help. She definitively stated there was no other option but to wait longer than the initial three weeks. Things have changed a little at Centrelake since my last mammogram. Still, I'm a fan of this place for the most part. Things I'm not a fan of: - the weird super slow, robotic automatic messaging service that left me not one, but two voicemails - because of a cyber attack last year, my results were no longer in the system so it took a while for them to get them from my primary doctor (which could TOTALLY be their fault, but still) - I lost count of how many times someone called to try schedule an appointment with me only to find out that they still didn't have my prior results, their mammogram machine or something was down, or they were waiting to hear back from my primary doctor for verification of both a mammogram and ultrasound (even though that's what was on the authorization) There's space for more PROS: + quick snail mail notification of mammogram/ultrasound results + love having this place in Downey + the three female employees I interacted with on 2/3/20 (receptionist, mammogram tech, and ultrasound tech) were all very friendly and courteous read more

I had to wait an hour and a half to be seen today. I was scheduled to have an MRI. I have a stent. They wanted to know what kind. I said I didn't know but they could call my Cardiologist and he could tell them. They refused to do that. So I have to reschedule. Very poor service. I see now, in reading other reviews about this facility, that I'm not alone in receiving such poor service. read more

I Jhave been to the Chino location 4 times and the staff has always been very friendly and cordial. Wait times have been fine also.

Honestly this place is a good place to get your imaging done for your doctor. Super quick check in and check out. Staff is very helpful and nice. They're I'll even call you almost immediately when they get authorization. Being an hmo noob I am not too aware of authorizations and it was nice that they called me to make the appointment. This place is terrible...I fill out all this paper work for them to tell me that i couldn't do my mri when they called and told me I could at this location scheduled me an appointment ....mind you they're within my insurance network...they try re-scheduling me way in El Monte no thanks I'm not driving that far...whoever is taking phone call for appointments need to get their shit together.... read more

Horrible Experience with this billing service! They never sent me an invoice for my MRI at Westwood Open MRI from back in July. Instead...... they submit my $40 co pay to COLLECTIONS!!!! And then when you try to call them, GOOD LUCK! They don't answer their phone. If I was one of their facilities that they handle the billing for, I would fire them! Horrible customer service. LOL!!!!!! Their job is a billing office!!!! And they can't even get that right! read more

Absolute worst. I scheduled an appointment 2.5 weeks ago for two MRIs after finding a mass on a different part of my body. I got a call two days before my appointment that they can't do a body part at the location I booked and I'd have to reschedule. They said they messed up on the scheduling and I'd have to book for out another week or so. I then threatened to file a grievance and that's when they suddenly found an opening next day. I had to get my shift covered again last second and now they just called me this morning saying their machine is down. I'm furious. Go anywhere else but here. read more

I was referred from my PCP to this place to have my abdominal ultrasound done. The places my HMO has referred to me before are not the nicest buildings so I was not expecting anything great. To my surprise, the assigned me Centrelake. This is probably the nicest imaging place in the area. Parking: private lot which provides ample parking Exterior/interior: The outside of the building is designed to be modern in look. The interior is also very modern in appearance. Per their website, it says they designed it specifically to look like a hotel which they did a good job at. In through the entrance and the greeting desk awaits you. The gentleman that was helping was nice. The woman sitting next to him seemed clueless about things and was just there to get her hours in. Waiting area: Is constructed in the shape of an "L." You have seating along side the TV wall which leads to the back into the exam rooms and some seats along the right of the entrance area. *They offer keureg coffee and kirkland water bottles in their mini fridge. Co-payment: I am accustomed to paying my due amount before my exam or imaging, but this place mails you the bill instead. Ultrasound technician, (Francisca) called me in from the waiting room. She was friendly and warm. We walked down a long hallway (which I took a photo of) to the back and entered by exam room. Though the room was compact, it did not give me that claustrophobic feeling or stale air/not well ventilated feeling like when I got to the doctors office. For once when the tech told me the lubricating jelly was warm, it was actually warm. The usually say that and it ends up being cool already. It was a nice change from my previous experiences. She asked me what brought me in and I began to elaborate on my ailments. She was very gentle, friendly and explained everything throughout my ultrasound. We also had an off topic discussion later which I greatly appreciated as well. Francisca was wonderful and made this not so fun experience quite enjoyable. *PS. they actually give you small towels to wipe off the belly gel instead of weird disposable "dental bibs." Nice touch. So far. They can't get their appointments scheduled going on. I was scheduled for today. But I got a call canceling the appointment. The next appointment is next month. It's March 26th next appointment April 17th. They said that the Ct scan machine broke down. I wonder how long will it take to fix it. Any other facility don't have any openings available till next month. This is very disappointing. read more

I'm torn leaving this review because those performing mammograms, ultrasounds, etc. are kind and gentle, but the front office staff at the Downey office always seem bothered to help patients. Earlier this month I had to reschedule an ultrasound because they failed to follow the Dr's order and did not schedule the right procedures. All they did was stare at the computer. Today I call to schedule a biopsy. The office person tells me they will call me back. Never got a call back so I called the office 10 minutes before closing. I called 5 times and everytime someone answered the phone and hung up on me. I don't know who trained or selected these individuals but if that is the treatment they are going to provide patients while they are scared of what might be, then I hope that one day they don't experience the same lack of professionalism and lack of empathy. read more

I have been experiencing pain on my left breast and my doctor has given a referral to have my mammogram with them. They want to have the words "STAT" written on it despite my pain and past history of surgery cysts being removed. Was referred here by PCP... Was impressed right off the bat with the grounds. As I pulled up to the parking lot which had ample and private parking, I noticed it was a newer building and looked like state a state of the art. So I thought it was going to be a great 5 star experience. Wrong!!!! Enter cold, un-acknowledging receptionists X 2 2 receptionists at the front desk one looked like she was in her mid 40's sitting to my right and one who looked to be in her early 20's sitting to my left. Neither greeted me. Neither acknowledged me. Maybe they were too busy with work - not- actually too busy showing each other things on their mobile phone. I keep walking towards the front desk, wondering which of two would help me. Again, no acknowledgement from either. So I roll the dice and go left to the younger looking one, I practically have to get all up on the counter and let her know I am there for an appointment. Still doesn't greet me. Seems to be bothered she actually has to do some work. And just says; "Name". After I provide my name, she follows with "Do you have your ID and insurance cards". I hand them over, she takes them, no explanations whatsoever. She scans them into the system. She highlights a bunch of forms and puts them on a clipboard. She places my cards on the clipboard and drops the clipboard on the counter and says "Here you go". So, I have to ask her, "Would you like me to fill these forms out and return them to you once I'm done?" Very Curtly says, "Yes". I practically want to laugh out loud at the horrible customer service thus far. I think I'm getting Punk'd or something. I'm looking around for cameras and Ashton Kutcher to pop out. I quietly complete and return the forms and am glad that ordeal was over. I was bracing myself for this horrible experience to continue once they called me in. To the contrary, Roxanne the MRI tech, was much nicer. Explained everything and was pretty courteous. Thank you Roxanne. Grounds, parking, building impeccable. They even had cold bottles of water and a Keurig for patients. If it weren't for the horrible customer service and horrible first impression this would be a 5 5 5 5 5 star review. But thanks to lil miss, you are bothering me, I don't care to help customers, and I don't mind showing it because I have more important things to do, like show my co worker things on my cell phone, it's not. read more

I waited 2 hours for an X-ray and I'm still waiting. The staff decided not to let me know there was a problem with the X-ray request. My insurance faxed the order and they never received it. Finally it was emailed and received. I'm still waiting to be seen for an X-ray, this was my experience. A senior lady next to me had to call for her disabled ride back home because the machine was broken. This was my first time here and I will make sure it's my last. I'm waiting 10 minutes for my CD but at least they close at 5pm. So hopefully it means I will get my CD by the time they close. read more

I went to their Downey facility this week for my bone marrow biopsy. Their staff was absolutely topnotch.. from Front Desk to Prep Rm to CT. Lourdes and Katherine in the Prep Room were fantastic; and eased much of my anxiety right away by going over the entire process and answering all my questions. The CT technician was super and efficient. Later Dr. Mazhar (spelling?) came and did his part and got me out of there in few short minutes. The whole experience merit a true 5-star rating. read more

Fast, friendly and efficient services. I was referred by my doctor for an X-ray on a potential thumb fracture. I came in and immediately noticed how elegant and clean this imagining center was. Plenty of parking and seating space inside. My order specified to bill the MD, so they followed instructions and did not ask me one single question about a payment. The process was easy and was out within 15 minutes. I came in and handed my order to the front desk representative, filled out some paper work and got an x-ray. The technician advised it would take 15 minutes for my Imagining CD, so i waited in the Lobby and was out. The process was efficient and straight to the point. I was pleased and would highly recommend this place to anyone needing these services. read more

Came here to get two MRIs same day. Had such an EASY and SMOOTH experience here. All the way from filling out the forms to having an awesome tech during the MRI (thanks Leanne!) and then walking out not having to pay. Turns out they don't do collections here. So you pay your copay once you get it in the mail. Awesome. I expected "complications" but nothing. Make sure you come in 15 minutes EARLY. The paperwork took me 8 minutes to fill out because I had everything on me. You don't want to be one of those people who holds up everyone else's scheduled appointments because you arrived late or didn't bring/remember all the info you needed. Before I was admitted, the secretary ran my insurance through and let me know I had a $50 co-pay. This was nice. No surprises. And it was exactly the same amount my insurance company quoted me when I asked about the cost. So that's good - everyone was onboard and doing their jobs well. But you don't pay here. You pay once you get it in the mail. What I also love about this place is that I didn't have to leave my social security number. I had a big scare with social security fraud and I'm so cautious about leaving that number on paper. In fact I get into a lot of fights about it with some of the doctors offices I go to. If I'm qualified to carry a ppo and hmo insurance, have a driver's license, have credit cards- then obviously I am legit. Providing a social security number is unnecessary. They will get paid either way. I did not get any hassle about it. They were respectful of my privacy and decision not to write it down. :) Just write down "decline to state". Pretty clean place. They have a Keurig coffee machine for complimentary coffee and refrigerated water bottles! They also have clothes you can change into. read more

Called and they got me in for my mammogram in less than an hour! Shella was my technician and she is amazing so kind gentle and understanding when you need to get this test done... I have had them done at other locations and it was somewhat painful where here it wasn't! Great facility nice staff and I highly recommend them to all!
