Fried Green Tomatoes Breakfast: excellent tomatoes and sauce, perfect eggs. Hashbrowns 'puck' was bland. Porky Burrito: tasty and generously stuffed, potatoes cooked crispy as I asked and they were perfect too. Breakfast Grapefruit: cut it half on a plate with no special spoon for you to figure out how to eat. Disappointing. They forgot my pancake: oh well, I guess I did not need the calories anyway. Service was good and attentive.

We decided to try this breakfast brunch restaurant located conveniently on a local shopping strip, ambience is homey. Service was friendly, and we were seated right away. Coffee was hot and strong, We decided to try the boozy bacon (pork belly) it was delicious. The fiery fig chicken sandwich with house potatoes was ok, wished for some fire. Had an omelette with grilled onions bacon mushrooms, was good, the toast never came, when it did, it was cold, then it was replaced by a lukewarm, not very toasted toast (sourdough toast has to be nicely toasted to be good). I gave up.

This was our first time here and we will definitely be back! We ordered a Maple Brown Sugar Latte and a White Chocolate Mocha, both were delicious. We ordered the grilled chicken melt with fries, egg omelette with hashbrowns, biscuit, and a side of pancake. It was all delicious!

Still love Hearth Cafe! The consistency of the food and flavor is top tier. The staff is awesome and some have been there for years. I'm excited about the expansion and look forward to the new things they implement. Hate that they no longer have the boozy bacon because it was a fave of mine (I asked about it being discontinued and they said it was a supplier issue). I still get my go-to French toast with a side of chicken sausage and house potatoes. My hubby and good friend go straight to the hash. Never a dull experience at Hearth. It feels like home and you can tell they love what they do. Really glad to have a place like this in Mansfield.

Stopped in for post-thanksgiving breakfast at exactly the right time. At 9:40 am, there was parking and only a 3 minute wait for our table (compared to when we left after 10 am, there was a half hour wait). Our waitress was attentive and had our lattes out quickly. The loaded croissant breakfast sandwich was delicious and soft and warm and exactly what I needed. I barely had room left for the potatoes but those were well salted and not soggy at all!

I ordered French toast for my mother for Mother's Day. It's always been her favorite! I order it to go and surprise her with it. In the past, Hearth Cafe's French toast has been served with fresh strawberries and mascarpone icing ... it made a lovely presentation! This time was a different. The French toast was served with a strawberry "sauce" and some type of cinnamon (???) icing. The French toast looked and tasted nothing like it had in the past. My mother was quite disappointed and so was I.

This is why my family and I stopped coming to Hearth! Plain and simple, I'm a coffee guy, and first sip, knew something was off. Good luck if you visit here

Enjoyed my lunch on the patio today since the weather was nice. I loved that they had shade and sunny table options. The menu is full of great options that I was eager to try! I was recommended the Honey Lavender Latte, but I got coconut milk instead of regular dairy milk. This was a beautiful and refreshing drink and would highly recommend it. I ended up ordering two entrees since my taste buds couldn't decide what they were in the mood for. I ordered the BLT and the original burger since I'm a big burger fan. Both were super delicious and hit the spot! I took bites from both and packed away extras to take home for later. Definitely worth a visit and the prices were decent for the quality and taste of the food.

The place is small, so there is limited seating. The food portions are huge. Definitely will be taking to go each time. I got the hash, and I got chorizo with it. The dish was a bit bland, but a little salt did the trick. The pancakes was big too.

We stopped in for an early lunch last week and were pleasantly impressed. The food was delicious. We had the salmon toast YUM! and the breakfast tacos. The Brussel sprouts were amazing! The Hearth restaurant is an amazing cafe with delicious food and a team in the kitchen that is flawless! I wanted to update my five-star review to say Thank You for your dedication to the community with your "to go" menu and drive-through! My husband and I had an appointment in Mansfield and picked up burgers at the Hearth and they were still warm when we got to Waxahachie and they were perfectly prepared, along with truffle fries and their famous roasted brussel sprouts. Delicious breakfast food. It's so good when cool restaurants like this come to our city. We wish you much success. One can tell that you care about the food: the attention to detail and flavors is palpable. The prices are very reasonable. The only reason I'm not giving you 5 stars is the espresso. This place was a great surprise in Mansfield. Charming interior and a nice breakfast menu. Really like their coffee cups! It was packed when we went, but it was the first day of school so all parents were celebrating. It's BYOB and they have the option to host private dinners. Definitely something to think about as the food was fantastic. read more

Today was my third visit with my wife to this Brunch Cafe. My first visit I thought was good while I had the Tex Mex Tacos but my wife loved it and she had the Breakfast Hash. My second visit was ok while I had an omelette and a pancake, the pancake was really good and the omelette I didn't care for because I felt like it was made with egg substitute and not fresh eggs. Today though I had the best grilled cheese ever, Gouda Grilled Cheese and it was incredible. The best best best ever from anywhere. read more

Positives of Hearth Cafe: 1)There's nothing like it in Mansfield! 2)It is GORGEOUS on the inside, with rustic farmhouse decor and a modern fusion. 3) Fresh flowers every day on every table 4)Cozy welcoming vibes, especially happy 5) the ideal place to sit while raining 6)staff is happy, attentive, love working there and get along well 7)Fresh Baked goods every day, replaced within a day or two to maintain optimal freshness and flavor along with a dedicated baker who lets her creativity and love for her work dictate what she makes that night (as late as 4am she's baking) 8)fresh food that is described as upscale brunch and American comfort food with a twist. 9)all of the ingredients are fresh and NEVER pre made and frozen including our flavorings, dated religiously and thrown out regularly when no longer fresh. 10) COFFEE!!!!! The food and atmosphere were really unique and enjoyable! 3 stars because one of our plates came out with a huge black hair right on the sandwich (plain sight) and there were at least four flies that I counted. omg- I went here for the first time today and had their avocado toast! it was to die for! I will definitely be craving to go back here not only for that again but I saw some unbelievable plates of other menu items that I have to try too! I also had this amazing FRESH BAKED CINNAMON PUMPKIN DONUT?!!!! What?!!!! Yep. I was going to just take it with me but as soon as I smelled it somehow it vanished. lol. This is a delicious breakfast spot. They serve lunch as well, but I haven't tried that yet. We really enjoyed their omelets, breakfast potatoes, scones, pancakes, and iced coffee. The omelet was perfectly, and beautifully cooked. The iced coffee was super smooth. Our awesome waitress even helped save a lot of money by suggesting a la carte pancakes instead of kids meals. read more

OMG amazing meal. Turns out the owner is also a chef and his fresh, thoughtfully sourced ingredients make a noteworthy difference. First, I am a coffee snob, but this quarter sweet (yes, QUARTER sweet) honey lavender latte with homemade syrup was served at both the right temperature and with just the right hint of lavender. Further, the side of french toast and the breakfast sandwich were both familiar and new, adding finishes like toasted pecans (note, actually toasted, not pralined) and a zesty arugula and dressing combination, respectively. The service and ambience more than matched the meal, with a playlist that provided something for everyone at a volume you could both hear and comfortably talk over. Planned all weekend to try this place. We came expecting some "newness" but 45 minutes in to visit we still had no food. The manager never came to address the issue and 10 minutes in to being told five more minutes we decided to just leave. The server was sweet as she could be but the management clearly isn't on top of things as no one ever addressed the issue. Really disappointing read more

This place was average. I would rather go to iHop. I was so excited to try it, but the food was okay and kind of bland. Pretty disappointed.. ordered some pancakes afterwards though and they were good. It's a cute place, but I wouldn't come here again. My FAVORITE local breakfast place to eat. I go to Hearth Cafe every Friday morning for breakfast. The staff and owner treat me very well every time and give great recommendations on entrees and appetizers to try. Today, Sunday, I brought my entire family - about 15 people - in to eat and the restaurant accommodated us well! Everything came out timely, fresh & delicious. Even in the midst of it being packed, all 15 of us felt special due to the wonderful customer service our server, Cora, provided us. Great place to eat & very family oriented. I highly recommend Hearth House and encourage more people to support local small businesses! read more

I forgot to take pictures of each course, but tonight's pop up dinner was EXCELLENT. We had a 4 course meal starting with an arugula salad with bacon vinaigrette, goat cheese, apples which is the best salad I have ever had hands down. Second course was roasted Brussels sprouts with Parmesan and lemon. So good. Entree was braised short ribs that were very tender and the flavor was amazing. The celery root purée was delicious and such a nice pairing with the short rib. And the last course was a yummy apple crisp with vanilla ice cream and caramel. We split the Patty Melt and it had zero flavor...it was bad. Patty Melt was dry, small amount of cheese, and it was lukewarm. Also, it had no grilled onions which the menu clearly states is on the patty melt. Bartenders were very nice and drinks were accurately made. Now to the music...we sat at the outdoor bar so thankfully we could not hear the band except when the opened the door. They were horrendous and loud during warmup. Whoever booked them should not be in the music industry.

I worked here for four months. Both owners had me stage and hired me. They had explained to me they wanted to transition from restaurant to meal prep service (which is my background) so I wouldn't have to learn the menu. They (me) just worked on a meal prep strategy, social media marketing, graphic design for a logo AND menu design along with "keeping up a front" with the other women i worked with in the kitchen who ONLY SPEAK SPANISH. I'm bilingual so adding the translation to my pay wasn't even thought of. Neither was my graphic design or social media marketing experience...I have text messages to prove the unprofessionalism from both Owners. Oh, it doesn't end there unfortunately both owners sexually harassed me and avoided telling my husband until i did because (one example) one of the owners would grab the skin of my elbow and try to have a conversation with me but would think it was funny and say "i touched your weenus". Couldn't get them for sexual harassment but got them through TWC and how they chose to pay BOH. The back of house relies on a consistent paycheck. And consistency is not a true statement in their vocabulary. They hire young women who they sexually harass and take advantage of because everyone was too scared to say something. They don't care about their customers or their food they just care about weaseling their way out of a tangled situation. So they can some how break free from this colossal mess. Not to mention the owners are not sober on the clock. And Ivan is just rude, everyday he gifted us with some sort of tantrum and thought his actions were fine. (Women in the kitchen don't speak English) so they're getting away with a lot. Worst work experience ever. Will and Ivan are horrible humans if i could share private text message's publicly I would! Do not support these people. Owners mingle with servers after work hours too. (Texts to prove) I could go on about personal boundaries being crossed and how i asked repeatedly for the owner to stop harassing me but it didn't end. My husband wondered why I wasn't going to work and then I had told him MORE THINGS that Ivan had been inappropriately saying to me. And I quit that day after my husband grabbed my things for me from Ivan. Ivan grabbed my belongings and crossed the restaurant to drop off my things because my husband confronted him about sexual harassment. These are older men seeking affection from younger women and there's evidence to prove they say those things. I'm livid. This happened to me after Easter Sunday. I can go on and on about other experiences here in my short four month period of time. Go somewhere else that cares. Please! read more

This place sucks... I waited 2 1/2 hours for my simple egg breakfast but that's the least of the problems I have with this place. The customer service is awful our server was rude and got half the orders wrong that's if he even brought out the food to begin with. And to top it off we were harassed by our server and accused of saying things that no one said and then charged in the parking lot by the server afterwards continuing to harass us when no one said anything bad about him or the establishment while we were eating. I am seriously offended by his actions I understand you were busy but that's no way to treat paying customers. I will NEVER return to eat here. read more

I have found myself returning to the hearth of Hearth Cafe on multiple occasions. Each time, it is my mission to sample yet another dish, an endeavor to encapsulate my favourites - it is, however, a task of Herculean proportions, for every dish has been simply outstanding. One can sense the freshness of the ingredients, devoid of the preservative-infested frozen wares that seem to be commonplace in numerous breakfast establishments. Their burgers, I must say, are quite remarkable. If it were left to my discretion, the only minor modification I'd suggest is the introduction of grits to their menu. read more

They have great service and really good food. I would definitely recommend trying their smoked salmon toast. It was soooo delicious! And their hazelnut macchiato looked pretty and tasted really good. They also have a loyalty program for coffee and after 5 purchases you get a free coffee! read more

Mansfield is lucky to have such a cute new spot in town. The hash with bacon is my favorite and I've ordered it twice. The baked goods are all baked in house and are wonderful as well. I took a strawberry shortcake scone to-go and loved it! Kind servers and cool decor too! read more
