I think subconsciously I walked passed this place over the months because the word 'healthy' usually equates to not being that tasty. Ignoring the fact that the place is packed and there's usually people waiting outside. Cognitive dissonance! The aloha smoothie and santi panini was the bomb dot com!! I also love that it's a family owned shop and the owner has her mom and daughter working here. It was pretty cute I must admit. Must try if you're downtown for breakfast and lunch ! read more

Healthy Bite is my go-to healthy alternative downtown. Really anything on their menu is delicious. The paninis, the salads, and the soups are all equally delicious. My go to option is the Greek salad with chicken and a tortilla soup. The service is also wonderful, the owner is the one that's usually taking the orders and she's very accommodating. They do pick up or delivery, but if you want delivery make sure you order 20 minutes ahead, since the lunch crowd gets very busy. read more

First time visiting this restaurant. My friend and I had lunch there earlier today. I had the sam sandwich I usually steer away from salmon but today I felt adventurous and did not regret my decision. With the side salad it did it for me. Good service, good food, good portion will definitely be going back. read more

Healthy Bite - Juice Bars & Smoothies Near Me - El Paso, Texas

Got invited to this place for lunch by a friend who works downtown. I had eaten at the surrounded with places but I had only heard of this place. The name was intriguing and I wanted to see how healthy the food was but most importantly how delicious it could be. I was not disappointed. I went for the gyro and it was better than any gyro I've had at a Mediterranean restaurant. Everything about it was so fresh and hot. The side salad had an amazing dressing on it. I did order an Energize drink with beets that was really amazing. The place itself is nice and cozy and it has that downtown cafe feel. The staff was really nice and I like that you can see them make everything basically right behind the counter. The chicken salad sandwich is next.... read more

The food is very delicious! We ordered breakfast oatmeal with bananas and strawberries, panini with tomato, basil, Swiss cheese and pesto, egg sandwich with slice of ham and chipotle sauce on the side.. AND, I could use the real mug they have on the wall instead of the styrofoam cup. That made me happier because I think we have to be healthy to our body and to the Earth's body. read more

Healthy Bite - TMB panini and Breakfast Egg Sandwich - Juice Bars & Smoothies Near Me - El Paso, Texas

Healthy Bite is a chic little downtown lunch spot. Their menu ranges from breakfast sandwiches in the morning to salads, soups, and sandwiches later in the day. They recently moved from another location nearby, into this lovely, airy, newer place. I am a fan of the increased seating capacity, and the larger kitchen--which lets the staff streamline things a bit to get more people in and out faster. The last time I was there was this week. I got a delicious Greek Salad. The veggies were crisp and fresh, and the vinaigrette was tangy, flavorful, and served on the side, which I love! I could have done with a bit less feta cheese, as I'm trying not to completely bust the diet, but for $7, the salad was a winner. And next time, I could always request that they go a little lighter on the cheese, since everything on the menu seems to be made from scratch and be quite customizable. I followed up my salad with a refreshing smoothie (I can't remember what it was called, but it was the "Greens" one). All in all, my coworker and I were in and out in under 10 minutes (for takeout), and were quite pleased with their renovations. read more

Came here for lunch during a work trip. It's a great independently owned cafe with healthy alternatives. The fruit-infused water was a nice treat! read more

After a few stops in downtown at establishments that indicated they were open when in fact they were closed, we happened upon this gem. It was an exceptional experience all around - service was excellent and the food was amazing. I had the tortilla soup - it was the perfect blend of spice with plenty of tortilla chips. It would have been nice to have had it a little warmer, but it was really delicious. I also had the green and gold salad - a giant bowl of healthy goodness. Perfect combination of fruits and vegetables and the dressing was added as a subtle complement rather than overpowering the salad. My friend had the tuna melt, and she said it was excellent. Portion sizes were also great. I wish I was going to stay in El Paso longer so I could make a return trip. read more

Every time I'm in El Paso which is often this is where I go for a great lunch. Very friendly people! Great food!

You need to try their Open Chicken Salad Sandwich, great combination of taste. Great smoothies, Berries and Pomegranate is my favorite.

The worst customer service in El Paso. Very poor communication with customers. No parking. read more

Multiple visits equals approval! Healthy sandwiches and a side salad hit the spot. The salad comes with a lightly sweet dressing with sesame seeds. The pesto chicken sandwich is very good. Simple and solid. Nothing fancy. read more

Good food. They can make sandwiches vegan for you super easily. All means come with a side salad with a Japanese insidered dressing. Was really good. Had the toasted veggie with hummus and salad. Salad comes with sesame seeds, so be aware. Really busy and over worked, made service a bit slow. read more

Absolutely delicious Greek salad, vegetarian sandwich and orange/beet juice at very good price!

Decided to come by here between my break between classes. Was really in the mood for something light and refreshing and the Healthy Bite definitely gave me that! As a vegan, it's a little hard finding vegan options but this place has plenty vegetarian options that are easily able to make vegan by removing the dairy! The atmosphere is super chill and industrial, serving their drinks in mason jars. The staff is so friendly and wonderful and they do a good job of making you feel special and welcome! Will definitely come here again! read more

Healthy food can actually be tasty! I would centainly come back. Welcoming service, fair price, and good food; can't get better.

This place always has a friendly staff and it is a great place for a quick healthy lunch down town. This is one of the few restaurants that have remained consistent with food and service during the pandemic. There is limited sitting but you can still come in and have lunch here. read more

Lovely little place. Good breakfast, relaxing, nice people, great value. Would come back but it's our last morning in El Paso.

Stopped in for a breakfast order that was placed ahead of time over the phone. I waited about 15 mins for my food while the staff made their breakfast and ate it before prepping my food. Not returning. read more

Great food. Very healthy and has a nice chic look. Definitely need more of these in the downtown area

This place has the best chicken tortilla soup! I travel all over the US regularly and I look for this soup, as it is my fav....yum! Healthy Bite has topped my list. The paninis are great, along with the fresh greens salad, not iceberg . Service was fast and very friendly. Nice atmosphere, especially if you can walk the area and enjoy the history. Did I mention the watermelon water with a watermelon wedge in every cup? Priced nicely. Panini with side salad, cup of soup, watermelon water, large smoothie and tip.... $20. read more

Healthy Bite - Everything but the kitchen sink! - Juice Bars & Smoothies Near Me - El Paso, Texas

I go to a gym right around the block from here.. my trainer recommended it.. I absolutely loved it.. I had the tuna salad ..it was great... very clean and super friendly staff.. I can't wait to come back to try other items on the menu.. read more

I tried Healthy Bite today. I ordered a gyro with chicken and it came with a salad. I found a hair in my sandwich, but I did not say anything because you never know, maybe it was mine. But then my friend pointed out another hair laying inside the sandwich. Then under the salad was another hair. That is when I looked at the workers and noticed no one was wearing a hair net. My food cost was $7.04. It was okay, nothing special. The chicken looks like it was bought pre-cooked. The sauce on the gyro was similar to ranch dressing. Very disappointed and very grossed out! They used to have a peanut butter & Nutella Panini dessert style sandwich, but after my experience, I did not even check if it was still on menu. read more

I come here at least once a week. The owner is so friendly and remembers a lot of the customers. Service is always quick. The food is soooo good. (Come before the lunch rush for the tortilla soup!) It's so nice to have a good healthy option so close to work. read more

I'm trying to count carbs and this place is really good for a salad if you want something light.

The tuna sandwich is great and so is their salad. It is pricey, and they take a long time for the food.

Good food, good and efficient service, and very reasonable prices. A little gem in the Cortez building.

Great healthy food. Light flavorful and plenty of it. You won't leave hungry. The service is excellent and freindly. With a good atmosphere.

I love this place! Try to go at least once a month during lunch. I always get the cucumber sandwich - its so good, I can't bring myself to try anything else. Tried a few different teas, all have been good. The side salad that comes with the meal is awesome! I was hesitant about the dressing they use but it was delicious and really adds a great flavor. I wish this place was open late or on the weekends so I could come outside of work hours but that is a common issue among downtown restaurants. read more

Great place to get a bite to eat. I also love their sandwiches. 10/10 would eat there again. My go to is the tunafish sandwich.

The Healthy Bite is near the place I work at and I come at least once a week. Super nice staff, orders are always on time, and great food!

I had a chicken panini that came with a side salad and I also had a smoothie. I truly enjoyed my meal. My meal was so good and the service here is phenomenal. This was my first time here and I will definitely be back! read more
