These guys were amazing. Got my whole room of furniture packed up and in the Uhaul in a little over an hour. I had done quite a bit of research and found that these guys had the best quote in the market for the type of job that I needed to get done. They cut me the perfect deal and nothing got ruined. Everything was packed with care. I wish I had more to give them, but as a starving student I was limited in my funds. They're the ones to hire if you're like me and moving makes you nervous. It was extremely easy. read more

I would recommend Headfirst Movers to anyone who is looking for a reliable, professional, and ethical company. On top of that, Headfirst's prices do not have any hidden fees or additional charges. I have hired Headfirst Movers TWICE! That is how much I love and trust the company. Hector, the owner, would call the morning of my move to let me know which ones of his movers would be working with me. Of the two times that I've worked with Headfirst, the movers have been punctual and treated my stuff with respect. After the move, Hector would make a follow-up call to ensure that I was satisfied with their service. Definitely go with Headfirst. Support a local business. Most importantly, you will be in good hands and have a peace of mind with your move if you go with Headfirst. read more

These guys are awesome! I found Headfirst Movers on craigslist and the service they provided is exactly what i needed. I had a 14 ft Uhaul truck and needed some strong movers. Hector and Ariel were able to help me with my move on short notice, Hector explained that they had a 2 hour move that same morning and they would be able to help me out when they had finished with thier first job. This was on a Sunday!! I live on the 3rd floor apartment with no elevator. Not going to lie but I was worried about my leather couches and my plasma tv from being damage. Hector and Ariel wrapped everything in pads and followed by shrink wrap and move my items with ease. They made my move look so easy, you can tell they have been doing this for a long time! My Uhaul was fully packed with none of my furniture or any of my glass table tops damaged. My unload was in Mission Hills on a second floor apartment! I offered them to take a lunch break but they refused and wanted to get my move done because they didn't want to be late for thier next move!!! WOW!!! I'm really glad i found Headfirst Movers, not only are they strong and very hard working, Hector and Ariel are really friendly guys. These are the guys you want for your moving day. Next time i move i'm using Headfirst movers without a doubt. read more

Knowledgeable movers, easy to work with, did the job very well. I procrastinated on my planning but called Hector last minute and they squeezed me in. Felix and Zach were our men, they arrived on the dot, needed basically no oversight and were super fast. Good job, y'all, and thanks! read more

We used Hector and his team to load our POD in our move from San Diego to Seattle. Hector came referred to us from another moving company and he was so easy to work with from the start. Very responsive and communicative, reasonably priced and he gave clear advice on things we should get for loading the POD (ratchet straps, moving blankets, etc.). He arrived with his crew of two other men right on time during our moving day and loaded our entire apartment into the POD within three hours. I can't tell you how hard this team worked. They worked quickly, efficiently and expertly broke down furniture, shrink wrapped it, etc. We hit a little snag at the end where we had some things that were not going to fit in our POD. Hector and his team worked to move a few things around, rearrange things and get as many things in as possible. When our POD arrived in Seattle a few boxes squished which is to be expected in a long distance move, but nothing was broken. Would highly recommend Headfirst Movers for anything you need! read more

"Thank you so much for moving me on short notice. I hired other movers but they never arrived. I found Headfirst Movers on the internet and realized they can help me out. Same day service no problem. Within a hour Hector and his crew came fully prepared and worked all the way through my move. Nothing damaged or no surprises on the rates that we talked about. Thank you once again. I will use your service in the future" - Spencer - Web Developer read more

If you need help with your move, these guys are the way to go!! You rent the truck and they provide everything else. And I mean "everything": from dollies, to blankets, to tape, to wrapping paper and anything else in between. Hector, David and Abraham showed up sharply on time, took a quick look at the job and rolled up their sleeves and went to work right away. They work in an organized way: while one of them is disassembling, other is wrapping and the third organizing the truck. They are very well organized and coordinated. They took extreme care of not hitting walls or damaging anything. This is very difficult to do considering the size of some of the items and the tight spaces but everything went just perfect: not a nick or scratch. As the truck I rented was small due to constraints on the driveway of the new house, we had to make two trips. These guys never took a break. It was all about getting the job done and done right. i had to insist that they stop to eat lunch that I picked up for them. When I came back with the food, they were already done! I am so happy with the work they did I highly recommend HeadFirst Movers for your moving needs. read more

I had a great recommendation to Headfirst Movers by another moving company that was unavailable. I contacted Hector regarding our move and he responded quickly. We discussed our needs and he was able to accommodate. He sent me a detailed follow up via email. I also got a confirmation email the night before. I highly recommend Hector and David, prompt, professional and hard workers. It's stressful enough moving, these guys made it all happen, very impressive to say the least. Packed our town home in 3 hours. The way they pack that truck is amazing, would use them again. Thank you Hector and David. We are grateful for your services! read more

These guys were great! We got a quote from some moving companies that were very high, so we decided we would save money by getting our own uhaul. We called Head First movers and it was only $60 an hour for 2 guys, with a 2 hour minimum. They will do whatever you need and bring there own dolly and blankets to wrap your furniture in. They arrived early but we weren't home yet, so they waited for us and didn't start charging until the agreed upon time. They were fast and worked very hard, and were very friendly throughout the whole experience. I would definitely recommend them, and would use them again. read more

Headfirst Movers was recommended to us by our storage pod facility, and they moved our house into two 16' pods this past weekend. Hector sent David, Felix, and Fred to load us up. We had tried to move many of our boxes downstairs before they arrived to save time, but it was still a large task. We were amazed by how quickly they loaded the pods (they sure did hustle!) and how they fit it all in. It took them just over four hours to load it all, and they were super careful with both our furniture (some of which they took apart for us -- like our bed and our dining room table) and also the walls in our house. We will definitely be using them again in a few months to unload our storage units when our new home is ready. read more

Hector and his teammate at Headfirst Movers moved our office last week. The price was great, the communication was outstanding, they showed up on time, and were ready to move. We simply pointed to a few things and from there they moved quickly, efficiently and without much directions. If you are thinking about doing your own move, just realize that for not much more than renting a car and trying to hire a few people on the street, you can have Headfirst take care of your move. They will have all the right equipment (pads, dollies, carts, etc). It is great to see hard working small businesses like this give great service and at a great price. read more

Hector and David were excellent in unloading our pod and then came back another day to load our storage shed and then unload at our home. Their service is IMPECCABLE.. Very professional, on time, courteous, worked to get the job done. David was the man, he assembled the beds, washer and dryer, hutch.. he even took the time to fix a shaky leg on my jewelry armoire.. Very satisfied with this moving company.. read more

Hector and David were there on the morning of the truck load early and got right to work. They were very professional in their behavior and communication, even through the scheduling process right through to the loaded truck being closed up, ready to go. They even texted me the day before to confirm one last time - which I really appreciated. My move was out-of-state, and once I got to my destination, the movers that unpacked the truck remarked on how well it had been packed. They were impressed by the thoughtfulness and care taken in the stacking of the boxes and furniture. Nothing broken or harmed through the whole process. I would give Headfirst Movers, Hector and David, my highest recommendation if you are looking for someone to load a truck! They're awesome!! read more

Great guys, hard workers. $70/hr. 3 hour minimum. They will hussle, sweat, disassemble/reassemble and get you moved in right on time. Save your lower back, call Hector. All of my delicate furniture was wrapped and ready with no-hidden fees!! Grab a UHaul and put these guys to work! Get your TVs taken off the mounts before calling though. These guys are fantastic movers, but my LCD mount proved quite difficult to figure out(arm mount). Hector is a whirlwind and is very jovial. David is super strong and great at packing the truck just right. I had them over twice and was super satisfied with their tremendous work ethic and adaptability. You won't regret calling them. Hector is super responsive to yelp messages at all hours and bills extra hours at the same rate. What a deal! read more

I needed help moving furniture into my own truck and Headfirst Movers was recommended to me by another moving company. Hector was extremely communicative and responsive throughout the entire process, even when I needed to move the date and ultimately cancel my move completely. When I do need movers again though, I will definitely be calling Headfirst Movers. read more

I gave Hector and his crew kind of short notice on a local move within an apartment complex. He sent two guys that were not only professional but extremely efficient. Everything was taken care of and wrapped correctly and nothing was damaged in the process. Hector was willing to work with me on the rate as I did not think that his movers would be here for long, but they were so good and quick that I had to move more than expected. We agreed upon a rate without issue and I am very happy with the result. Hector himself is extremely professional and very communicative. I was always in the loop about what to expect as far as movers and equipment, what time everyone would be here, and he also checked in to make sure everything was good. I would easily recommend these movers to anyone in San Diego area without hesitation. Also a quick and easy payment via venmo is convenient for all parties and can be verified immediately. Thanks, Hector! read more

This team is great! Hector was quick with his responses and was very understanding and helpful when I mentioned how plans might change. Fortunately they didn't, and I was able to keep the original time. His employees were on time and very helpful. The price was reasonable. I definitely recommend hiring this team!! read more

Let me just start by saying Head First Movers was hands down the best moving service I've received! I was sent to them via a recommendation and I couldn't have had a more prompt, quick, efficient, and noteworthy experience. I needed some movers to help me fill a moving van (I'll pack anything but I don't want to move it, haha). I contacted Hector back in June for a quote on a potential move that later got rescheduled a month out. He was able to accommodate both dates without a problem. Not only was he prompt and courteous but his price was more than fair for the services received. Hector will give you an estimate, schedule and pair you with his movers, and notify you with the names of the guys helping you so you know who to expect when they arrive at the scheduled time. I was moved by David and Robbie who were incredibly detail oriented, efficient, and packed my truck so carefully and securely we were able to drive around on dirt roads without any items falling over (that's not a metaphor, we actually did, haha). Hector had recommended I provide furniture pads and David and Robbie used those to wrap my furniture! Now I don't have to worry about anything snagging or getting dirty from the truck. I appreciate that so much! I 100% recommend this company and the service they provide. All parties involved were professional and well worth the phone call! read more

I just moved into the house my dreams! I realize very quickly though I had a big problem. There was absolutely no way I was going to be able to accomplish this move all of myself. Luckily right down the street I found these guys. They were the most friendly and helpful movers I could possibly ask for. I personally don't ever plan on moving again, but if I do I'm definitely using these guys to make sure my move goes as easily and quickly as possible. I would highly recommend these guys to anyone needing to move anything. Thanks again and keep up the great work. read more

Headfirst Movers - Movers Near Me

Hector and his team did an amazing job of moving us. We went thru a lot of hiccups and had to have their help three different days and on dates that changed. They were accommodating and kind throughout all of our schedule changes and really saved our butts during a hell move. I couldn't recommend them more. Thank you guys sooooo much for all you did for us. read more

Hector and Bruce did my move from a 1st floor apartment to a 3rd floor apartment within the same complex. Headfirst Movers did a fantastic job and are really nice people too. I've moved a lot in the past so I've seen my share of the "big name" movers. I've even had one of the big name movers break something and wreck the carpeting and charge an arm and a leg for it. I'm so glad I found Headfirst Movers instead of the big name movers. Their rates were 5X less than the big name companies, they were a lot nicer to deal with, had better phone communication, they hustled to get the job done as quickly and efficiently as possible, and all of my stuff was treated well, nothing was broken. Also, my apartment complex did not have my new apartment ready on time, so I had to reschedule the move at the last minute. Hector was very flexible about the last minute reschedule and had no problem coming out on Sunday at 8:00 AM to accommodate my move. I really appreciated that! If you can rent your own truck, and pay cash, then definitely give Headfirst Movers a call. They'll do a great job for you! read more

These guys are legit man! Super nice and busted out the whole house in almost three hours. Moved it all into a pod till I get my new place. Wrapped stuff that I would have just thrown in the pod. Glad they were recommended to me as I'll totally use them in the future. read more

We hired Hector and David of Headfirst Movers to move a storage unit full of stuff, and they did an awesome job! Hector quickly responded to my initial message and was ready to help on a Sunday with less than a week's notice! Great communication, very punctual, and they came prepared and didn't waste any time! They were half the price of another moving company I first contacted, and Hector and David were very conscientious and pleasant. I asked if they could pack up the new storage area leaving me optimal access, and they left me a path right down the middle of it all-PERFECT! We'll recommend you to others, and now you're our go-to guys when we need movers in the future! You rock! Five stars. Thanks loads! read more

They answered very quick all my questions I moved into the same complex just different apartment (and floor ) and comparing to other places their price was the best It was a minimum of 3 hours but it took us that time to move Everything was super quick and professional Hector and his partner David did an excellent job The reason I chose them : their flexibility on schedule even last minute changes ( they were very punctual when they arrived too ) Reason why I would use them again : again flexibility on time , price ,professionalism ,fast read more

WOW!! I had to move all computers, monitors, printers, rack, and cables from the 1st floor to the 2nd floor of another building. I would not be able to accomplish this task on my own within a matter of the companies time. I called HeadFirst movers last minute asking for information on rates and availability, I was shocked from what I heard but nothing less they showed and they did what they told me over the phone. I highly recommend HeadFirst movers, Hector and his guys were a great team to work with. Hector and his crew helped me load our ABF trailer in preparation for a move to Canada. They arrived on time, were extremely professional, and finished the job in less time than anticipated. They were very careful when moving large items out and navigating tough corners, being sure not to damage anything. They also took the time to wrap various items to make sure they would be well protected in transit. For those familiar with UPack, our shipment was estimated to occupy 17' of trailer space. But Hector's guys packed our shipment very securely and tightly to save space. We ended up only needing 15' of the trailer, which saved $350. Best of all, Hector's guys were fun to work with. They were cheerful, friendly and made the whole moving process so much more pleasant! read more

Hector and his crew did a great job loading and unloading our PODS! We had a big house to fit into 2 PODS and they expertly arranged everything to fit so much stuff into them. Hector and his associate helped me with a very big move that took two days. This was over two years ago. Even though I have lived in 2 states since then, I have carried Hector's card in my wallet all this time because I wanted to be sure and write this review for him. Hector is professional, kind, patient, and an excellent mover. I highly recommend him for any size move. THANK YOU, HECTOR!! read more

Hector & David showed up on time and were the most efficient movers I've ever worked with. They were both very friendly and really took a lot of care in wrapping up any valuables (tv, large mirrors, etc) to make sure nothing was damaged in the move. I rented my own U-Haul and they loaded it and unloaded everything. They took apart my bedframe and reassembled it upon move-in also. I would highly recommend Headfirst Movers to anyone looking for help moving. I strongly believe their price is well worth it! I will definitely be using them again for future moves. Hector and Felix helped me move to PB this past week and they did such a great job! They were super hard workers, protected all my furniture, asked where I wanted things and set it all up for me and were so quick and efficient!! I thought that because we were paying by the hour they would take their time, but not at all, we were done with everything way sooner than I thought. And they were respectful and just overall super nice guys. I would definitely recommend them to any of my friends and I will use them again if I move again! :) read more

Are you in need of local, trustworthy, quick, attentive, and awesome movers? Do you need reasonable prices with no hidden extras? Do you need your items treated with special care? If the answer to any of these is yes, YOU MUST Call Headfirst Movers. I've used other local companies with good results in the past, but Hector and crew were the best. Brains, brawn, politeness and half the price of others. Seriously, the best price I've ever been quoted for movers. Ever. My story: I needed furniture rearranged, moved and packed within the house I live in. I simply can't do it myself and need professionals. I have been dreaming of doing this forever but finding someone flexible and local for a great price is rough. I literally found Headfirst Movers business card at my place of business. I checked YELP and knew this was the place to go. They said call or text anytime, so I did. Hector was not only quick to contact me back but answered all my questions and even agreed to a special request. (I needed to get something out of the rafters of my garage which included climbing a ladder.) When they arrived (on time of course) they had all the supplies including blankets, shrink wrap and tools. (Thrilled!) They were so quick and smart about communication. The things I have are large, heavy and absurd and I am really picky about how things are done. Hector and crew went above and beyond excellence in customer service during my experience. They even removed a DOOR to get my clunky furniture out of my bedroom. It had to bed done. Everything went smoothly and exceeded my expectations. (Yes, I mentioned above my furniture is large, heavy and absurd) Thanks again guys! Overall, my experience was excellent and I highly recommend Headfirst Movers to anyone looking to pack up, unpack, rearrange or move. Extra bonus: they were friendly! I hate having people over I can't have a least a little conversation with. Why are you still thinking this over? Call or text Hector and Crew. They treat you right and that's what you need! read more
