(See picture detail of scratches that happen during transport) MPH refuses to reply to my multiple correspondences. Unfortunately, I have to contact an attorney now increasing costs for them. Was willing to settle for refund, repair costs, and additional shipping to manufacturer but now will have to include attorney fees and travel time. See pics of pic up and how board appeared at the shipper. MPH tried to blame shipper but board placed damaged side down by courier hiding from view, shipper reviewed board and contacted me. Update after MPH finally responds on Yelp: Below is MPH's response. Clearly I've posted a picture of their pic up person with the undamaged board and they confirmed this early on yet they still try and claim it may have been previously damaged?? They knew the history and value of the board. That is why I requested a hand carry as it was only a few blocks to the professional packaging and shipping company. I did not send "menacing emails" I offered several fair solutions. (See screengrab of my unanswered emails.) my comment "Sorry it's come to this but I'm an East Coast guy like you and we don't take shit lying down" was a simply an effort to find common ground with these guys. I simply gave them the courtesy of making good on the damage before posting on Yelp. I told them on the phone that I was suspending judgment until I had a chance to gather all the evidence. When the manufacturer told me the cause of this type of damage, as they have seen it many times on improperly transported boards, it became obvious (see the detail of damage and compare to image of MPH courier with the undamaged board). This ultra-light carbon fiber board was placed on a sharp object where it bounced along on the roadway, you can even see where it was yanked out of the truck by the forward scratches. This type of damage would not happen leaning against a stationary wall like the one the courier propped it up against at the shipper's facility ( he placed it damaged side down by the way according to the shipper who called me immediately after he turned it over to pack it. ) I apologize for suggesting they did still charged me upon inspection of my corp AMEX account they did not. This is appreciated, however, this suggests they may be in agreement with me. Sadly, I now have to take legal action. I only want what is due to me, what is fare and we will have to let a judge decide now costing everyone more. I am confident I will prevail and will post the outcome here.

Stroudsburg, PA Excellent delivery experience. Piece was wrapped in moving blankets and cardboard for protection. *Note: I have yet to unwrap so this review is of my experience with the 2 person Carrero delivery team only. My single critique is lack of communication day of delivery, which there was none. Truck arrived 20 min earlier than the 9am-1pm window scheduled. This was not an issue as I had a busy work day but I was in the middle of getting ready when they pulled up. The guys patiently waited. Carrero team was also willing to work with me on the unique drop-off situation. The delivery address (my house) was not the same as the delivery location (my barn), which is close but down a 1/2 mile stone road without an address. After driving the team to the official drop-off location, in my truck, to assess road conditions and turnaround options, it was decided to load my truck bed with the fragile furniture and the 2 guys holding it to keep stable. This process went smoothly and the guys unloaded it and placed exactly where I wanted it, without issue. The team were great to work with.

We have used UKAY for two separate DWR orders. With our previous order, the furniture was damaged…read moreduring two different delivery attempts. This time, UKAY failed to deliver the furniture at all after repeated cancellations. The communication from our coordinator, Jessica, was especially poor. Deliveries were canceled at the last minute, including calls early in the morning on the scheduled delivery day, after we had already rearranged our work and personal schedules. When there was a COI issue, Jessica repeatedly complained to me that UKAY could not provide what the building required instead of taking ownership and resolving it directly with building management. Our building regularly receives and approves COIs from other delivery companies and vendors in New York. UKAY was the only company unable to make its COI comply with the building's standard requirements. Despite having the building's template and contact information, UKAY did not coordinate effectively with the building or DWR. I was forced to act as the middleman among UKAY, building management, and DWR - even though COI was entirely UKAY's responsibility as the delivery provider. For a paid white-glove service, the entire process was extremely unprofessional. The delivery crew showed up far earlier than the confirmed window and asked us to make phone calls and coordinate arrangements for them. After they failed to resolve building issues with repeated last min cancellations, they asked whether it could simply leave the furniture in the lobby instead of providing the in-home delivery service we paid for. When I told Jessica that I would request a refund from DWR, she became defensive, argued that they had "tried to deliver," complained to me that she sends "thousands of COIs every day," and then hung up on me. Across two DWR orders, UKAY either damaged the furniture or failed to deliver it at all. Their coordinator showed poor communication, took no ownership, and pushed the work of resolving their delivery problems onto the customer. This is nowhere near professional white-glove service.

I explained that I had the an industrial sewing machine which is about 4 feet tall and 5 feet wide. She asked me how much it weight and I clearly told her about 75 pounds or more. You think this would be smooth sailing. At exactly 11:25, the machine was in the loading doc waiting for the guy to show up with the van. Half an hour goes by and I call the company asking where the van was. While I was on the phone with Jesse the moving guy comes up and asked me I was moving the machine. I see he has a minivan. WTF!!! what moving company will misrepresent their vehicles in such a flagrant LIE. A minivan is not a VAN! The guy tells him my machine in much bigger and is 200 pounds.

I hadn't even finished wrapping it up when they arrived and the guy sweetly helped me get everything together. Less than an hour later my stuff arrived at the destination and I hardly broke a sweat! Calling them back today (I forgot to get a receipt) the receptionist was incredibly friendly and quick. These guys are now on the office quick list for inter-city deliveries in a "NY Minute" and I'm still waiting for Mary Kate and Ashley to show up in bike shorts and backpacks...maybe next time.
