Snap Delivery is a bike messenger service that I recently started using to deliver wine from my shop all around the 'hood of Williamsburg. Snap has exceeded my expectations in every way possible. Here's why: - Left a message to inquire and the organizer of this service, Hugo, came to the store to meet and discuss their services. - Hugo hooked us up with a delivery person that covers all the local restaurants in our area so we do not need to hire someone independently. Or he does it himself. Snap also offers messenger services around Manhattan and Manhattan to Brooklyn. - Messenger shows up within minutes of our calls to pick up outgoing wine. Customers have noted how fast and friendly they are. - Found us the best deal on printing our delivery postcards- $175 for 2500 cards- then offered to pick them up and distribute them around Williamsburg, Greenpoint and Bushwick. - When delivering cases of wine, the messenger opens his bag, put the whole box in, slings it over his shoulders, and hops on the bike. Spoke with someone on the phone at 5:30pm yesterday regarding a noon pickup today. He assured me everything was set and asked me to email the pickup and delivery addresses and to confirm timing. I emailed the info as soon as we hung up, then again first thing this morning to confirm since I hadn't received a response. Still no response 24 hours later. Not cool, hired Zipments which was expensive but professional. read more

This courier is a straight up scam. They will take your money, and your packages and disappear. Do not use them. read more

Emailed once, Hugo said it would be $20. I said ok. Never got confirmation until I emailed again the next day, at which point Hugo said he had under-charged me and it was actually $30. I said I only had $20 on me and Hugo so they would make a note of it and "get me next time." There will not be a next time.... Pickup was then an hour later than I had requested and there were no responses while I was trying to get ahold of someone to make sure someone was coming. I had to call the person to whom my package was being delivered just to make sure it made there because there is no trusting these jokesters. read more

Not too bad. Price is right and the guy on the phone was VERY nice and professional . The bike messenger was also a really nice guy. My beef was that it takes about an hour to get a response (even by text) and it takes a LONG time to get though to a person. They need more people on staff. read more

I spoke with the company yesterday and received email confirmation for 10am pickup today. The courier never showed up and there was no response when I emailed and called several times. Absolutely terrible customer service. Do not trust! read more

Unprofessional, spoke to someone and set up a pick up and delivery rush service, he guaranteed that it will be delivered within an hour between 10-10:30am. He assured me that everything was set and we confirmed the timing via phone. The package has yet been picked up and it's 10:37. I have tried calling for 30 mins and no one has picked up. Also tried emailing, but no reply. Quote is cheap, but service is terrible, very disappointing, won't be using this service again. read more

Huge last minute delivery from Brooklyn to NYC and they made it. Would have been five stars except the recipient had to come downstairs to pick up the package because the messenger was driving and could not park in mid-town. Snap stayed in touch with me via phone and text throughout the ordeal so I never felt abandoned. I will definitely use them again. read more

I don't know what to make of these guys. Always nice, but never on time or followup. First time I used them, they didn't show to make a pick-up but after multiple calls, someone showed hours late. That was on a non-urgent delivery, so whatever. I want to try to use independent guys like these, so I tried again. Same thing. Emailed Hugo a night early that I needed an 11am delivery. He emailed back right away, saying he'd have someone here at 10am to pick up. I emailed back that was great. 10am, nothing. 1015, nothing. 1030, nothing. Finally, at 1045, I emailed, then called, then texted. No response at all. As I'm writing this, it's 11:26 am and nothing. My delivery is now nearly 30 minutes past due and I haven't even gotten an apology. Like I said, I very much want to use independent local guys. But, if you're looking for dependable delivery, spend the couple extra bucks for one of those larger, professional services. read more

Zero stars. Googled for a local delivery service in BK, talked to Hugo, said he'd get it done for twenty bucks...and ten hours later...nothing. Not cool. At first impression was considering to use them for my office (price quoted was half if UD) but their ability to stick to deadlines or communicate is non existent. Wish I spent a few more bucks and went with someone who knows how to handle business. Hugo -- get another job dude bc your passion for this one is not there. read more

These delivery people are really smart, experience, and reliable folks. What is truly amazing is there ability to get across town in a matter of minutes. That is because they are extremely agile bikers and New Yorkers! Highly recommend! Oh, BTW, they are extremely hot too! Hot dudes and dudettes 4 real. Snap Delivery was easy, convenient, and affordable. They answered my questions over the phone and then suggested I text them with my details when I was ready. They picked up my food order from a restaurant that would not deliver to my address, even though it was not far away, and did so very quickly! They even texted me after to make sure I got everything I needed. They saved my sick little self and satisfied my desperate need for matzo ball soup. Thanks so much guys! read more

They did what they were supposed to do. The messenger arrived promptly, the package arrived at the destination within the projected time window. No muss, no fuss. They only get 4 stars because of the lack of documentation - I asked them to email me a receipt; so far, they haven't (and it's been a few days). It's even more annoying because they don't currently accept credit cards. We've exchanged emails, but ideally, a cash business should be able to provide customers with an invoice/receipt for their records. read more

Called and emailed several times... never heard back from anyone. Ended up hiring another service.

Snap Delivery is the opposite of what a courier service should be - they over promise and DO NOT deliver! Stay away from this service if you actually need things delivered promptly. I called at 10.30am for a pick-up and was told that a messenger would be by in 10 minutes. 3 hours later I was still waiting for the messenger and Snap stopped answering their phones and emails. Terrible terrible terrible. Hugo said our packages would be picked up and actually DELIVERED for $20 each. He picked up our packages (we happened to be gifting liquor to important clients) and ALL 5 of the packages were not delivered. 5 packages and $100 later... essentially these guys had an awesome party with our money and product. Snap Delivery absolutely saved me and my business! After reading the other great reviews here I called them urgently needing help with ensuring a package was delivered from Brooklyn to Boston in a timely manner. I was given the most impeccable customer service to date, from any business. Hugo stayed in excellent contact with me and even sent me a photograph of my package as it was packed/sealed and leaving UPS. As I live/work in Boston my hands were tied and without Hugo and Snap Delivery I would have lost a huge order/lot's of revenue for my company. I am forever grateful and would recommend this business to anyone! Side note- this is my first time writing a YELP review, but I feel so strongly about acknowledging this truly amazing business. read more

I ordered snap delivery because of the yelp rating and have to say that it was a complete utter FAIL. They promised delivery into Manhattan within 45 minutes, and didn't show up for pick up until an hour and half later. I called several time throughout the process and left several messages to get a status, but no one picked up. Several hours later, after I made the delivery myself, I called back and and they claimed issues with phones, emails, and all other forms of communication. To top it off, the guy threw his messenger under the bus by saying it was his fault. If it was a shop that had it's stuff together, they would have called back, but instead I did, and heard the lame excuse. Negative stars if I could. read more
