Tonight was my second time using Airpals to messenger something from Cobble Hill, Brooklyn to the Upper East Side. The first time was a week ago and it was only because my usual courier service charges extra for weekends and evenings (which I understand - it's a business after all), but it would've cost me less to take an Uber there and back myself and if I'd had the time to do that, I would have :) So I literally just googled "same day messenger NYC" and found Airpals and decided I had nothing to loose by trying them. They were responsive and communicated clearly every step of the way and my package got where it needed to go without my having to rearrange my schedule for it. Tonight I chose them again for basically the same trip, thinking I probably would be out of luck since it was 4pm on Christmas Eve. But they confirmed the job right away and quickly let me know that they were running an hour or two behind schedule. I was fine with that. Maria just picked up from me and I'm confident the package will again arrive safely at its destination. I have a long relationship with my other courier service (LaserShip) and I have nothing bad to say about them, but for trips like this I will definitely be using Airpals from now on. read more

Use this courier service! I will be using them again. I needed a custom gift picked up and delivered in Brooklyn. I was very nervous as I did not plan much in advance. I booked this service 15 hours before it was needed and it went through without a hitch! My gift contained glass and chocolate, which made me nervous about damage, but all was delivered without a scratch! Beware that while they know Manhattan is a busy city, and parking is scarce. They charge you the complete NYC parking lot fee if there is no parking available (of course, there is no parking available in NEW YORK CITY). Of course, they only tell you this after the package has been picked up. I'm sure this is something that happens with every delivery considering they are based in NYC, so why is the additional charge not an add-on on the check out page? Because they're thieves, that's why. I wouldn't mind paying extra when I know my sensitive legal documents are making it to their destination safely and in a timely manner, I do however, have a problem when I'm mislead and promise a service that is completed halfway. First and last time I am using them for my company. read more
