For my limited requirements (general house handyman stuff) this fits perfectly. Unlike the big box stores, there is always someone available. When needed they will find the right person (expert) to give me the information I need. Unlike the big box stores the person actually knows what they are talking about. The people who work here are extremely knowledgeable. Thanks to them: 1. My drains remain clear (even in my daughters shower) 2. I have the right lightbulbs in each room (I got a 30 minute detailed lecture) 3. Anything hanging on my walls can handle the weight correctly. 4. My paint matches when I touch up. 5. My tool bag has the right tools in it. 6. I have the right tool bag. 7. My showers are free of lime, hardwater and rust 8. My car leather looks awesome. I could go on but you get the point. The selection is clearly smaller than some other stores. But I go here to get 'help' and not just to buy things. For someone like me this place is perfect.

I went in the other day just to find some tiny screws, and they have a huge selection-better than Home Depot, and you can get someone who actually knows what they're talking about to help you find some random screws that cost $0.26 cents each. Where do you get that kind of service nowadays? The shelves are packed with just about everything you need for any kind of small or medium project around the house. Hope you stay in business forever!

The only reason I'm not giving one star is because Lawrence at self-checkout was absolutely great, and the manager (Gary, I believe?) was understanding, although he almost seemed unsurprised by the behavior I described. Steven, on the other hand, was incredibly rude, condescending, and downright unpleasant. And it wasn't just toward me! He was so rude to another customer that he and I actually started laughing together in disbelief at his attitude. I came in looking for some guidance on a DIY home improvement project. After realizing the product Steven recommended was incorrect, I returned it and came back with another question. His response? That I should come into the store already knowing what I want instead of asking him questions. Oh, okay! Silly me for thinking I could walk into a home improvement store and ask an employee for help with home improvement. Not everyone is a contractor or an expert. Some of us are just trying to learn, tackle projects ourselves, and make sure we're buying the right products. I don't expect employees to know absolutely everything, but I do expect basic kindness and professionalism. Steven made what should have been a simple shopping experience unnecessarily frustrating. Lowe's, you can do better. And Steven, I genuinely hope your pillow is always hot.

He was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely interested in finding exactly what we needed. He immediately stood out as one of the best sales professionals we have ever worked with. Our experience with him was so positive that when we later decided to replace two exterior doors in our home, we specifically went back to Home Depot to work with Andy and ultimately purchased both doors through him. Even though our contractors had offered to get the exterior doors for us through their manufacturer connections and handle the installation at a better price. We still chose Home Depot because of Andy. There may always be another option or a better deal somewhere, but trust, reliability, and exceptional service are much harder to find. Andy genuinely listens to his customers. He is caring, approachable, knowledgeable, and never pushy. He understands what you need, gives thoughtful and trustworthy advice, and consistently follows through. He truly under-promises and over-delivers. That kind of trust creates loyal customers. His follow-up was exceptional as well. Even when we couldn't make a couple of the appointments, he remained patient, continued following up, and kept providing us with additional options. He never gave up on helping us, and his persistence always felt genuine rather than sales-driven. We have literally raved about Andy to our friends and family. He deserves to be recognized and hopefully compensated accordingly for the exceptional service, integrity, and dedication he brings to his job.

I grew up in Mission Viejo and have always enjoyed shopping here because they have a great selection of products and the staff is consistently friendly and helpful. On 7/10/26, I stopped in to purchase several electrical items and outlet covers. Trevor went above and beyond to assist us. He was patient, kind, and took the time to help us find everything we needed. He even found a few items we had been unable to locate the first time around, which was incredibly helpful. Trevor is a perfect example of outstanding customer service. Because of experiences like this, I will continue coming back to this Home Depot for all of my home improvement needs.

I recently had to get some mulch glue. The garden center associate couldn't have been less helpful. She has never heard of such a product and pretty sure they don't carry something like that. I was told to go check out the plumbing aisle since that's where all the glue is. So I went over to the plumbing aisle and checked just in case. Of course the item wasn't there. I also tried to flag down an associate but he couldn't scurry away fast enough. I literally ran after him shouting EXCUSE ME!! CAN YOU HELP ME FIND A PRODUCT??? The associate couldn't muster any sense of concealing annoyance. He told me they only sell mulch glue online and walked away without any further assistance. Like help me get some heavyweight gravel off of the shelves. Check other items I needed help with. Nothing. And the parking here also sucks. The aisles are also very cluttered and brimming with end cap aisle products. Also don't bother attempting to purchase any terra cotta potters. I had to return all of them due to every items having scratches and gashes. I don't know who thought it was a good idea to even sell it in the condition it was in when I placed an order as an online pickup. All in all, much better to drive the extra distance to visit Lowes in San Clemente. The employees are happy to assist and the store is much cleaner and easier to navigate.
