First I started off like most folks calling around to best-buy and getting quotes from Magnolia Home for our job. They were rude, unprofessional over the phone and took days to get replies that required more replies from us then more wait time. OVER IT... Fast Fwd a week. I called Chris for a quote to Mount our 65" Samsung and hide the wiring. He came back almost immediately with a very fair quote and fit us into his schedule promptly. Upon arrival he and his partner Emilio were more than professional. We have a 7m old daughter with all of her mats and toys everywhere. They removed asked if they needed to remove their shoes or put on hospital booties (this is huge for us as many contractors or workmen just track all types of stuff into your home) Emilio and Chris got started quickly and in no time at all he had it completed. Not only that, I wanted a new sound bar and Chris had inventory to choose from and mounted that as well for next to nothing! We were so happy we had him install our bedroom 42" a corner of our room and Chris provided collapsable swivel a mount that tucks against the wall to provide ample space. At the end of the day I feel as though professionals should take a page out of Chris and Emilios handbook. These guys were exceptional, professional and down right great guys. No matter how much time passes or how many other devices we will have installed over the years, Chris and HD Custom Installations will always be our go to guys. You literally cant go wrong with them. Thanks again! read more

I normally don't leave reviews, but I was impressed by the work they did. We had a 75 inch tv and a pull down style mount that needed to be put up. It was a really tight fit between the ceiling and the mantle, and these guys did a fantastic job. They added an outlet behind the tv and concealed all wires (including 2 HDMI cables) in the wall. Not only did they make sure we were good with the tv height and handle bar placement, they went above and beyond by using their extra patching material to patch an existing crack on our wall. A fat thumbs up! read more

I called these guys to wall mount a 77" LG OLED and mount/wire a pair of surround speakers for me and I could not be happier with the results. Chris and Emilio came out and true to all the 5-star reviews on here they were both super friendly and professional throughout the entire process. They did a great job of listening to my ideas and concerns while offering their own thoughts and ideas to come up with the best plan between all of us. Running the wires to the surround speakers was quite a bit of work as I wanted the cables to sit outside the walls and snake around a couple doorways but they took the time to make it look very neat and discreet. They came prepared with all the conduit/wire molding and knew exactly what to do every step of the way. I especially appreciated Chris' meticulous "OCD" attention to detail with flawless measurements and leveling of all the hardware. They also made it a point to thoroughly clean up after themselves as they moved from area to area. As far as the TV I had asked them to run all the wires through an outside-the-wall conduit but when it came time to do this Chris offered to run the wires through the wall at no extra charge which was a generous surprise. I would have settled for the conduit but now that I have the wires in the wall I'm so happy they did that, it's such a cleaner look. Because of my work schedule I had them start later in the afternoon and the job lasted into the evening but even as the hours wore on and it got later and later their patience and professionalism never wavered and the results could not have been better. All at a great, fair price as well! Highest recommendation and I will absolutely call them next time I need an install. read more

AMAZING. They came in and got right to work. Any questions I had, they were really knowledge about! I also really like the fact that they feel like old friends right off the bat! They also provide a TV Mount (a little additional, but worth it), so you don't have to go and buy one! The best part? THEY HIDE THE WIRES! If you know me, you know I'm OCD and don't like the wires hanging out. They conceal them so well!! read more

We had a long list of items for Chris including 5 Nest cameras, a Nest doorbell, TV mounting and a Sonos speaker system for mounting. I was looking for an A/V specialist to mount two TVs and soundbars in my newly renovated living room and den, with recessed power kits to hide all wires and run them through the walls. I called several I found on Yelp and most were 3-4 weeks out, pricey, and/or wasn't really feeling their vibe over the phone. Then I was forwarded Chris's information as a trusted resource from one of the companies I called and oh what a blessing that was. From the very first phone call all the way up to completion of the job, Chris exceeded all my expectations with communication, professionalism, expertise, reliability, response time, pricing, quality of work and attention to detail. He was an absolute pleasure to work with and is a very straight up, reasonable, personable, man of his word professional that is hard to find these days. I will be using him for all future A/V and electrical needs as well as being a referral I give to all friends and family. I am extremely satisfied with the end product. I greatly appreciate it Chris!!! read more

What can I say. A friend of the family had used the company and highly recommended for them for security camera services. Chris and one of his associates came out and did a walk through/consultation, They went over all my options and offered me different packages. The next day they emailed an estimate and the next week the ring cameras were up and running. The cameras have been working flawlessly. To make a long story longer without hesitation I called the guys back up to set up my surround sound and mount a few TVs. And honestly I couldn't be more satisfied. Trust your getting real deal. They take the word Custom very seriously. Very clean and pretty much perfect look on all my TVs. They're very straight forward and give you all the details up front. Trust me they are the truth. read more

Would like to give a special thank you and shout out to HD Custom Installation For the installation of my brand new QLED tv. Professional and extremely quick. During this time during the covid-19 era, I needed to make adjustments for my living space, gym time and office. Mounting the tv was the first thing. I was referred to by supreme cuts in Downey (now closed due to the pandemic.) I reached out to Emilo and within minutes he got back to me and we started discussing what I wanted. He wasn't trying to sell me on anything, just what I needed. I sent a video and pictures, where I wanted it mounted, what size tv and was quoted thru Instagram in minutes!! Installation was such a fast and easy process. All the wires are hidden and they were so clean thru the process. He probably swept my room more than I did that morning. Extremely happy with my smart TV, which with it, I can now turn my room in a smart room and have an incredible amount of features to go with. Please give them a call for all your home installation needs! read more

I called Chris last Sunday morning asking for a quote after calling multiple other companies and he offered by far the lowest price to mount my TV and soundbar over the fireplace. He was knowledgeable and answered all my questions over the phone and I was lucky enough to schedule him to stop by on the same day to do the installation. When Chris and his partner Emilio arrived he walked me through the process step by step and assured me that he would take good care of everything. He did not disappoint! The TV was mounted and all the cables were neatly ran through the walls and out of sight. They vacuumed and cleaned up after themselves, removing all the trash when they were done. Never did I feel that Chris was rushing the job and you can tell that he really puts in the time to make his customers happy. The TV installation couldn't have turned out better and Chris went above and beyond my expectations. He was professional and courteous to me and my friends and with 18 years of experience you won't find anyone better qualified for the job. Initially was very responsive and helpful. While he did try to help resolve an issue with a ring device installation, his follow-up service was not adequate. Chris mentioned repeatedly that he would come back to help install a device that was malfunctioning but never found the time to make it back. He placed other customers over me. A good company for a one-time job assuming nothing goes wrong, but if there are any installation problems or hiccups, expect a long-drawn out service. read more

Nothing less than 5 stars here. Chris was very detailed, very respectful in keeping things looking clean and neat during the job and after the install.
