Five Stars Isn't Enough for Eric Peterson! I would give him 100 stars if I could! If you need a process server or private investigator who actually gets the job done, look no further than Eric Peterson. To put it into perspective: my attorney had previously hired a process server who spent an entire month trying--and failing--to locate and serve the defendant in my case. After four frustrating weeks of zero progress, Eric stepped in. He had the defendant located and served in less than 24 hours. This wasn't an easy task, either. The service was at a highly secure and challenging location--one that seemed impossible for others, but proved to be no challenge at all for Eric. The level of efficiency, speed, and sheer professionalism he brings to the table is unmatched. Beyond his incredible skills and hustle, Eric is just a genuinely great person to work with--communicative, trustworthy, and deeply dedicated. He took a high-stress situation and completely turned it around overnight. I cannot recommend Eric Peterson highly enough. If you want results instead of excuses, he is your guy! I will be sure to use him if ever needed down the road. read more

I've worked with this Peterson Investigations quite often in a professional capacity, so I was already familiar with their level of efficiency and reliability. I ordered back ground check with employment history. I paid $350 and report was without employment history. I paid $350 on 7/17/2026 by Zell. Eric Peterson said it takes 2 days to deliver the report. I didn't receive the report on 7/23, so I e-mailed him and ask when I will get a report, but no response. On 7/24, I called him but he didn't remember my order. But few hours later I finally receive the report but no employment history. I stated clearly in the beginning that I need to get employment history. Then he gave m the price of $350. It's wasted money. I got basic information from online investigation, it was $49 but no employment history, that's why I asked Eric Peterson, but he gave me the same information as online $49 investigation. When I talked him, he didn't care about my order and recommended me to pay more for surveillance. But I needed the past employment history. Also he said "it didn't show" the employment history. ( The person who I investigated has SSC and works for corporations in USA) I expected to get the information because YOU ARE THE PRIVATE INVESTIGATION COMPANY. If you can't, you should have said so in the beginning instead of make me pay. When I talked him by phone, I was lightly brushed off and he was rude. At least he should have a basic manner to talk to clients. read more

We found Eric via yelp and took a chance. We have never hired a PI before. Our business had employee theft occurring and after months getting nowhere at all with local police and banking regulators he told us the deal and what would likely happen. He got a confession in 5 MINUTES, exactly the way he said might happen. He never promised but just gave his common experience and it happened exactly the way he advised. He didn't overpromise, if anything he over delivered. If you have no idea what to do if you have a crime or case and cant get anywhere with authorities I highly recommend Eric, especially for business owners. read more

I've used this company several times now and they always deliver! Made a mistake of hiring a "professional" process serving company last time and basically threw my money out when they weren't able to find the guy that needed to be served. Petersen Investigations went above and beyond and found him living at a different address and served him as requested. Definitely worth it when you need to get things done! read more

After my husband's property was stolen from baggage claim at LAX, we exhausted every avenue we could to get it back. We were so lucky a friend recommended Peterson Investigations. Thanks to their skill and persistence, we were able to recover our stolen items (in less than 24hrs)--something we truly thought might be impossible. I wanted to find out about the background of one of my housemates. We developed a relationship, but he kept his background a total mystery, which unnerved me because I wanted to trust him. I hired Peterson Investigations to do some checking into my housemate's background. Before anything could be found, however, I called a close relative of my housemate and had a lovely and revealing conversation. I found out what I needed to know, at least enough to put my mind and heart at ease. No longer needing PI's help, I canceled my request for services and promptly received a refund. Grateful for PI's professionalism, I have requested assistance with another matter. Catherine S. read more
