I can't thank Chris enough for going above and beyond to make sure we were happy. The fireplace is rocky, unlevel stone, so I checked a few places for quotes, but some did not offer drilling into stone. Other places did, but there were no pictures of the work, or the TVs in the results did not look centered. I'm so glad to have stumbled upon HD Custom Installations - it is very reasonably priced considering his experience and professional work. We received a relative's old 45" TV and had neglected our living room for over a year (it had become storage pretty much), so we wanted a reason to use it again. We decided it'd also be great to have a swivel mount, as the living room was an open space plan with the dining area. He chose a swivel mount for us that would support bigger TVs should we plan to upgrade. Initially the placement of the TV mount was a little high, and I anxiously asked if he could move it 2 inches lower. He took the time to unmount it, show it to me & explained how it was the optimal place to drill into -- drilling any lower would be dangerous, and our TV was too small so moving it higher on the mount's rungs would leave some parts sticking out. He quickly thought of the best alternative solution & went so far as to trim part of the mount off, to get it low like I requested. He also noticed I was worried about the centering/placement of the TV, so he made sure to measure & check that it was level several times over and reassure me. To make sure the cord wasn't just hanging loose, he used a brown extension cord and secured it between the stone. We're beyond thrilled to hang out in this space again. Thank you so much! read more

They beat everyone's price by a significant amount. I had them install the Tv on a articulating wall mount that they provided. They executed it with perfection. I was so impressed that I asked them to coMe back & install a Samsung Q90R soundbar. That I also purchased thru them for a mice discount. I was concerned with wires showing on the rear speakers. They went to Best Buy & bought some wall mount brackets. Upon getting them setup, it was clear they placed the speaker to fAr off the wall. So we ordered some shelves that would allow them to sit flush from amazon. Once they arrived they came back out to me. Custom modified the speaker shelf so that everything would be hidden & rAn the wire thru the wall. Their attention to detail is unparalleled. They executed a perfect install & I don't say that likely. I am an extremely picky person. The type that will checK things witH a level & tape measure to ensure its perfect. I did not have to with these guys clearly. Albeit my OCD kicked in after they left & I checked anyways lol. Everything was PERFECT! I almost forgot while they were doing the surround sound they noticed I had LED light strip for my TV. They offered to install it for me. Another perfect install. They then took the time to set up the speakers & we tested out the Dolby Atmos for a good hour. Never did they make me feel excessively picky or rushed. They were patient & it truly felt like First Class service. I HIGHLY recommend these guys for all you home audio/security needs. They have such wonderful customer service, are really knowledgeable and helpful--and then when it comes to installation they take care of everything for you. My husband and I had purchased a new tv and I hate seeing cords and knew I wanted someone to help mount/install out tv, add an outlet behind the tv, and help with cord management. Initial Consultation (5/5): I messaged HD Custom Installations on a Friday via Yelp and received a text message from Chris in less than 30 min with a quote. We were able to schedule an appointment for that same weekend on Sunday and reviewed everything all through text. This made the whole process so much easier and he was very responsive. He was thorough and straightforward in explaining the work that would be done while breaking down the cost. Actual Installation (5/5): I needed 2 Samsung 4K TVs mounted in my new apartment. I already had one TV mount that I was able to re-use for the Living Room but needed an additional mount for the second TV which Chris was able to provide. AWESOME. First TV (Samsung 4K 55") - Living Room: Included a Samsung Sound Bar, Nintendo Switch, Ethernet Cable, and Google Chromecast with all wires concealed. Second TV (Samsung 4K 50") - Bedroom: Included a Google Chromecast + HDMI Cable which he threw in for FREE! All wires concealed with brand new TV mount provided by Chris. The overall installation from Chris and Emilio was top notch. They consulted with my girlfriend and I throughout the whole process to ensure we were happy with everything they did. (Example: TV mount height, cutting into the wall to conceal wires, programming one remote to control the TV + Soundbar, etc.) They were very professional and kept everything tidy and clean while mounting the TVs and other electronics. They even had their own vacuum to clean up after themselves which we appreciated A LOT as we had only lived in the new apt. for only one day! Chris and Emilio went above and beyond our expectations by making sure our wires were concealed properly and even did some dry wall patch work to make sure you couldn't see where the hole was made. Chris even came back the FOLLOWING Sunday to do some minor touches to the dry wall to match the texture of our walls. AMAZING customer service! Follow Up (5/5): Overall, Chris was great at communicating even after the install was complete, making sure we were 100% happy with the work and that everything was working properly. Coincidently, I ran into an issue a week after the initial installation with controlling the Sound Bar w/ the one remote. After texting Chris again he was still very responsive and eager to help. I eventually figured out the resolution on my own, but had already spoke to Chris to potentially set up time to FaceTime and walk me through the settings if I still couldn't figure it out. Again, GREAT customer service. Conclusion (5/5): Chris and Emilio are hardworking, down to earth people, who are super easy to talk to and made me feel very comfortable with all the work they did. If you're on the fence of hiring someone to mount your TV properly, don't think twice. Chris and his team will take care of you! I'm a DIY (Do it yourself) kind of guy when I can be, BUT when it comes to handling thousands of dollars of electronics, don't cheap out - it's not worth it! Leave it to the professionals. Chris and his team showed up on time and immediately went to work mounting my 65" TV. It was a concrete wall so I wanted to have it done by some pros and the guys at HD custom are true pros. They got the TV mounted ran all the wiring so nothing showed and cleaned up everything. They mounted my Apple TV and fire TV as well. Here is the true kicker though, they spent more time making sure the the TV was lined up PERFECTLY than it took them to do the install the right side was off just a millimeter but they kept adjusting until it was on the bubble.
