I had to look her up online and try to find a way to get a hold of more cookies. Their crispy macadamia nut chocolate chip cookies were the best cookies I've ever had! Yes, I went on a little stalking mission to find where she sold these delicious cookies. I found her email address and off I went to ask where I could purchase more of her cookies. Aunty Nani responded and said I could pick up the order at the Gateway Center or find her at some of the farmers markets. It felt like I had my very own cookie dealer! She was so sweet and said that texting her was easier for her to respond to than email. She implied she wasn't too keen with technology. Awww, such a sweet aunty. She texted me to say she was at the fair on Tuesdays at Waimanalo, Thursdays at Kapolei and Saturdays at Ala Moana on the 2nd floor near the Target entrance. Score! I decided to find her at Ala Moana that Saturday and met this lovely lady. I bought the Cranberry Nut cookie and the Macadamia Nut Chocolate chip cookies. The best ones are the Macadamia nut chocolate chip cookies and I get why it's so popular. I met Aunty and she was such a sweet lady. She smiled and remembered who I was and I just told her how much I loved her cookies. I believe a family member was helping her out at the table and he said how much she loves baking. I could tell that she takes pride in making these cookies and the love that goes into making them. It's an amazing delight... I honestly have not had any cookies taste like these before. I had to yelp this business because I had to share this with my fellow yelpers. You're welcome, Yelp Fam... you're going to fall in love with these cookies. Go support your local Aunty.

Aunty Nani... yes there is a real Aunty Nani.  Eddie is awesome... he will offer samples for everything.  The number 1 and 2 sellers are the macadamia nut chocolate chip and oatmeal chocolate chip mac nut cranberry cookies.  After the samples...I know exactly why... they are simply addictive.  Crispy and sweet not like the ones you get from the mass marketers.

I requested to have the smaller sized scones, so we could have 15. I received a phone call saying only 12 scones fit in the box, and if I wanted 15, I'd have to order 3 separate scones. I pre ordered two days in advance, and said that 12 was fine, I'll order more if I have to. I'm assuming the person who called, did not relay the message. I received a door dash message at 630am saying the same thing as the phone call. My delivery time was 8:10-8:20 am ... the scones were not ready for pick up until 8:20! My meeting starts at 9am, when I needed the scones... Needless to say, I hope they're tasty. However do not order on door dash from them. They are communicative with their customers though. So that's a plus.

Located at the Liliha Food Court, the shared parking with McDonald's is free! Inside, there's a common dining area with all of the vendors. It's quiet and nicely air-conditioned, with a convenient restroom! Service was super friendly and efficient. I was asked if i wanted pate on my Lemongrass Tofu Banh Mi. At first, I thought it was an odd question. Then, I thought... why not! Let's try it! The next question was: would you like jalapeños? My answer: no, thank you! That's a great question because you won't waste jalapeños on me! I was given a buzzer that would alert me as to when my order was ready. I the meantime, I visited the other vendors. Soon, my order was ready and I took it to my table. My first impression: wow... the sandwich is longer than the package! Next impression: mmm... this tastes super delicious! The bread had a crisp crust and the filling was generous! It spilled out onto my napkin which I licked up! LOL! The pate added a different dimension to the banh mi. Oh my! The gravy on the rice was perfect. The hamburger steak was soft and delicious- the secret must be in their gravy. Literally broke da mout'. I'd definitely order this for myself if we are in the area. I miss having Fat boys by Costco in Waipio but now I found them.

They were labeled - and the cashier pointed out each item. I selected cucumber kimchi and choi sum. One of the fishes of the day was Ono. I chose it because it's not very common. I took the pan-fried preparation that came with Garlic ponzu butter dipping sauce... yum! I even poured that sauce on my rice! I look forward to returning!

After a moment of hesitation, I simply took it. Needless to say, I was not a happy camper with a semi-warm pizza. I definitely learned a lesson that I'd like to share with other customers: Keep an eye on your pizza after about 10 minutes, just in case they forget to call your name when your order is ready. Great pizza, but the order-handling process definitely needs improvement.

It's only 7:15 but it's really quiet in there. I walk up to the counter where I was greeted by a cheerful young lady. I decided to try the hamburger steak. I seated myself on the chair after ordering and I was glad I wasn't earning in... The chairs they had were wrought iron and hardwood and let me tell you, if you had told me that it was a medieval torchering device, I would have believed! This was the most uncomfortable piece of furniture my butt ever laid on! I was glad my order came up relatively quickly, as I was up and out the door. "Thank you, have a nice day!" she says, so I replied with a " You too!" I like that kind of employee-customer interaction. While waiting for my appointment, I pick on the plate. There's 2 scoops of rice, mac salad and 3 hamburger patties with brown gravy. The patties look handmade, not store bought. More points there. They are well seasoned and tasty. Very moist and tender. Macaroni for the salad wasn't overcooked, nor was it al dente, but pleasantly done. Slivers of carrots not only add color but give a bit of texture to the mac salad. The one thing that I thought might have been a mismatch was the jasmine rice. Jasmine rice does so well with ethnic dishes, but for me, it interfered with the subtle flavor of the brown gravy. Otherwise, it's a flawless plate lunch, but that's just my opinion. Later on though, I started to get that reaction... I don't know if it was in the patties or the gravy, but there probably were traces of MSG. I normally would've minused a star, but the value of the meal and the bubbly personality of the girl at the counter certainly is worth the high mark.
