This is the first time I have been to this location. Must say I'm very impressed as compared to other locations. My sandwiches very neatly made and the all the contents was packed in the sandwich. The reason this Subway was on the news is because of all the rail construction on Dillingham and how businesses are struggling due to all the "No turn" signs on Dillingham. What a great experience at this Subway! They were efficient and helpful. I had a deal that was online only, so I told them I would place the order online and then they made it for us. Very clean and friendly location. My coworker had the Mexicali and I had the "Boss" which has fresh mozzarella, pepperoni and meatballs. It was very good with the pickled jalapenos and onions that I added in addition to lettuce, green peppers, spinach, tomatoes, and parmesan cheese (no black olives since Taylor HATES them and I am sharing with him). If you get the app, sometimes you get deals like BOGO 50% off. We saved over $7 on 2 footlongs since these are the premium ones so they were $14.25 each. Usually I go for the cheapest ones that are less than $10 each, but my coworker was getting one for $14.25 so the best deal was so match that price and the Boss matched it! I also heard from a former Subway owner that this sandwich is good since it has the pepperoni and fresh mozz and we LOVE fresh mozz! Judging from all the reviews of this location it seems that it's a hit-or-miss and today, unfortunately was a day that was a miss. It was more than a miss; it was WAY OFF THE MARK. Co-workers wanted to have Subway sandwiches for lunch. We have a half hour lunch break, so we called in the order prior to picking it up. We all had our favorite combination of ingredients so we each wrote it down, and the person who volunteered to pick them up called the order in. I was right besides her as she made the order and I could hear her correcting the person taking the order quite often. Order was to be ready in ten minutes, and it was picked up accordingly. The order was for two foot longs and three six inches. The bag contained one foot long and four six inch subs, which raised a red flag. Everybody checked their sandwiches and of the five orders, none...ABSOLUTELY NONE OF THEM WERE RIGHT. Jalapeño peppers where there shouldn't be, a sandwich missing cheese, one that should have been toasted but wasn't and one that shouldn't have was, a six inch that should have been a foot long... Well, as if this wasn't bad enough, the call to the shop to report the errors was absolutely EPIC. We're trying to explain what was wrong and the guy who took the order is talking over us, arguing that it's not what was said, when we have the list of everybody's requests of ingredients right in front of us. AND HE IS RELENTLESS! Just arguing the whole time! His best offer was for us to return to the shop so that he can insert slices of cheese into the sandwich...."No, because our lunch break is short. We don't have the time." To which his suggestion was to "Come back tomorrow, and I'll give you the cheese." We've had enough of this guy so we request to speak to the manager and we get the total run-around. At first we thought he didn't want to give the phone to the manager, but it became obvious by the long, awkward pauses that THE MANAGER IS REFUSING TO TALK TO US. We FINALLY succeeded in getting this person on, and she immediately goes on the offensive, throwing an attitude towards us, asking "...what's wrong with the sandwiches?" When we explained, her attitude was that of, "So what do you want me to do?" We were stunned that the person we're speaking to was the franchise owner who's responsible for the operation of this location. Her resolution to the matter was: "You know what? I give you your money back." That was NOT what we was hoping for. A simple apology and acknowledgement to the error would have sufficed. Maybe an offer of a discount on the next visit would have smoothed out and diffused the situation. Instead, "I give your money back" indicates she doesn't want our business anymore. Well... We're not going to a shop that we're not welcome at. It's a little further away, but there's another Subway shop near work. They'll be getting our business from us from this day on. read more

This subway shop is one of my favorite Subway's to go to.........one very good reason is, they have great deals! They have this sign on the window that says - "$5 dolla, $5 dolla foot long..........if you buy a regular drink!" I must say the - $5 dolla, $5 dolla foot long was such a very catchy commercial, wouldn't you say so! :) One of the reasons I really like this particular shop is because they really know how to pack in a good sandwich! On the veggie options, they offer spinach (which I like)......as I noticed not all Subway's offer this. Service is fast, just two ladies working, but they work in tandem, and knock sandwiches out quickly. The restaurant has a few tables/seating inside the shop. There is a lot of free parking, but sometimes the lot gets full.......if you cannot find parking in the lot, there is a lot of street metered parking too. The woman n thean working there told me that im lucky they would accept this coupon. I only certain sandwiches for this coupon. My babies know how to make all of my Subway babies the way I like um. Veggies piled high and then compressed in a sliced, one foot long loaf of bread!! Roasted garlic bread with one of my babies, Provolone cheese, dijon mustard, mayonnaise.....toasted. Add the works (lettuce, tomato, pickles, red onions, olives, extra jalapeno, cucumber, green pepper) piled in a heaping mound of what is supposed to be a healthy and diet friendly sandwich. Drench the top with oil and vinegar; slice into two and wrapped to go. The Subway Guy, Jared Fogle supposedly eat two Subway sandwiches a day and lost over 245 pounds in a year. All I can say is that if the subs were made at this Subway....No way Jose!!! And for your information, I would never go to the Subway Jared went too because they probably built his sub with only a teenie weenie amount of everything with no dijon, no mayo and no oil and vinegar. He was probably eating "Two....two dollar three inch" two times a day. I think the "Six....six dollar foot long" (Five is six in Hawaii) is probably a nine...nine....nine dollar foot long meal for two here. What a real bargain! I usually don't go out for lunch but I've been to this location twice in two weeks. The Sandwich makers there are on it! They really take pride in their work and it shows! They even suggest additional items and provide excellent customer service. I found this Subway to be clean and the workers friendly and quick about getting orders done. I also like how they have multiple tables for you to sit at and enjoy your sandwich or salad. I really liked how once customers left the workers would get up and clean the tables right away. There's also a big parking lot so you shouldn't have trouble finding a spot. read more

Went to the Subway on Kokea st little after lunch hour.Angela I believe her name has given the worst customer service ever.I was ready to order my sandwich and she asked me what bread I wanted so I told her which one i wanted after 5 seconds of getting my bread she disappears.She runs outside to her car that was parked across the street on street parking and parked her car in front of the restaurant in the handicap stall.She doesn't even come back in to help me instead wipes her car down instead.I was already upset because no one else was even try to help me at all I had to ask for service before they came to me.I asked to speak to the manager or owner and apparently found out from them she does this all the time.My question is if she does it all the time why is she still working for subway she should be fired.something should be done about her. read more
