This Subway sucks @$$!! I asked to get my on-line application for Subway, Sub Club specials because today's special was $8.99 footlong and the counter person didn't oblige or bothered to get the manager for further inquiry. They really passed me off! Without so much as an, "I'm Sorry Sir", she just shook her head and said, "No. I can't give you the $8.99 deal and I don't want to get my manager either...this isn't the first time this has occurred." Very disappointed! Very insulted! Very angry about wasting my trip out to this Subway franchise location today. Waste of my time today. This is my 2nd time visiting this location. I had a terrible experience the first time, thought I'd never return. But then, here I am!, in the building and craving for a sandwich... Ordered a 6 inch BLT, was hoping for more than just 2 strips of bacon, but whatever. The person helping me kept going back and forth between my order, and workers/customers, that she kept forgetting where we left off with preparing my sandwich, had to repeat numerously. I had to shout because I had to step away from the counter to make room for the other worker that decided to restock the chips that was in-front of me. I was getting anxious to just leave with my sandwich. The sandwich was okay compared to my previous experience. I appreciate that this location is conscious about providing quick service especially during work lunch time. I have been frequently visiting through the week. My fave days are Monday for their Sweet Onion Teriyaki sub and on Thursdays for the Italian BMT. The sandwich makers are very customer friendly although I don't know any of their names. The service here has improved a lot! They greet me as I walk into their restaurant and are so friendly. Their special sub prices went up by $0.50 cents ($3.50 to $4.00) but still a good deal, I will still come on my fave sub days. I also LOVE the quality of subs, they fill it with all the fixings you ask for. This location has really improved and therefore I rate them as 4 out of 5 stars. =) read more

The owner(s) of this Subway are super friendly - they take excellent care of their Coca-cola soda fountain (the only available Coca-cola fountain in the Costco / Iwilei area) I'm a total Diet Coke addict, so I really need these guys to stay open! :) The service is very, very good - you just need to be patient with them while they try to understand what you are asking - they are more than willing to accommodate you, if they can figure out what you are trying to say... Service is awful. The lady who was serving was completely rude and unprofessional. She got irritated when I asked her if I could have my salad not chopped. Gave this subway more than enough chances. I really don't like to write 1-star reviews but, I don't want any of you wasting your time coming here. The FIRST time I came here about 8 months ago: I asked for a egg white breakfast sandwich with a small cup of coffee. The lady making my sandwich was so rude, she kept saying "what?' and just threw everything on. Then she took of her gloves and out her finger inside my cup when she went to make coffee. NASTY! She made a snite remark to the other worker and they both looked at me. So I looked at them because I knew that they were talking about me. When my flatizza came out, it wasnt even hot the bread was still soft. It felt like I was eating a sad soft taco. The THIRD time and i promise the LAST time: There are 2 workers in the front, I speedily walk in before they scatter to the back. Guess what, they went to the back!! The customer service at this Subway leaves a LOT to be desired. I go there often because I work in the Dole Cannery area, and this Subway is convenient. However, the employees there do not listen to what the customers want. One afternoon I requested all the veggies EXCEPT bell peppers and jalapenos on my sandwich, and the employee put a TON of bell peppers on it. On another day I went in for the breakfast combo, and when I was asked how many creams and sugars I wanted for my coffee, the employee didn't even wait for my reply but just dumped a handful of each into my cup and tossed the cup across the counter at me. In a way, I could understand this behavior if the store was busy, but I was the ONLY customer in there! Also, on a number of occasions, I has witnessed the employees putting on gloves, preparing customers' food, and ringing up the sales with the same gloves on and THEN going back and making more sandwiches with the same gloves on after handling filthy money AND the cash register. I shudder to thing what happens behind the scenes that we, as customers, cannot see! read more

Slowest subway ever. It was like being stuck in a hot NYC (local) train passing the manhattan bridge! Wowzers. It took 20 minutes to get two sandwiches. I'm not sure if they were slowed down by a desire for accuracy but for the love of meatballs I have OCD and wanted to start throwing meatballs on my 6 inch! Today was my first experience at this Subway. It was neat and clean so I figured I'd grab a sandwich before my movie. I walked in to an empty place and asked for a moment to check out the menu. I was thinking about the Flatizza, but wanted to know what kind they had. They weren't listed so I asked the Asian lady on the register. I asked her if they only had veggie and Spicy Italian and after a long pause and crazy look from her she responded. I advised her I didn't want that and to give me a minute. When I said I think I'll have a sandwich, the same lady asked me what kind so I told her I would like the Simple 6 Sweet Onion Teriyaki. There was no movement and I wasn't quite sure if she had vapor locked or forgot I was there. There was no movement for at least a minute and until someone walked out of the back and looked at me. That's when the lady at the cash register asked me what I wanted. I looked at her and the other employee like they had landed from outer space. I straight out told her how rude she was and that was the second time when I was asking questions that she wasn't paying attention. She tried to avoid it by asking me what I wanted and I told her to give me a minute because I didn't want to rude to either of them. That's when the other lady chimes in and I had to tell her the same thing. Obviously they lack listening skills. Eventually, I placed my order and the employee put too much mayo on the sandwich. I so wanted to just open it and scrape it off on the counter, but I know better than that. I just took my food and sat in the rinky dink court. So highly disappointed in Subway and their employees. Got food poisoning after eating the tuna here last year. My friend also got food poisoning after also eating the tuna 2 months ago. There is a certain employee that can habitually be seen touching their face or cash without changing gloves. Today I am writing my first review. I only use yelp to look at reviews, I never post anything. Saw previous reviews, but decided to try it anyways since it's the only place to eat in this so called "mall" and I figured it's really hard to mess up a sandwich... I was wrong. When we first walked in the lady was sitting on her phone in the back... When she finally came out she asked what we would like so I told her honey oat to which she replied "we only have wheat because we're about to close." Mind you it was 1pm and they close at 4... Then there were literally five items to choose from for our sandwich... No spinach, no tomatoes... Seriously? Once we paid we sat down in this rinky dink food court to pass time before our movie started and we watched several other people walk in and walk out when they received the same rude service and lack of options. We even watched the lady go in the back, eat, and then come back out and make someone a sandwich without washing her hands.... If I could give it less than one star, I would read more
