I love chick fil a breakfast it's always so good and tasty!! I love the spicy chicken breakfast burrito and will always get it where I can. The reason for the 3 stars was the lack of assistance as I watched the employees take the order of the cats in the line next to me even when I was there first and had been waiting. Another thing to be weary about is that if you turn into chick fil a.. YOU ARE STUCK there is no parking and if you go for pickup you will get stuck in the drive thru line. This review is only based on my experience today. Usually, this Chick-fil-a location is deserving of 5 stars; however, today I was disappointed. I ordered two peppermint milkshakes, one with cookie crumbles since I had 800 points. I also ordered medium waffle fries. The fries were limp, pale, salty and sad. The milkshakes were missing their toppings. They tasted like vanilla milkshakes, possible with peppermint syrup. The staff provided friendly customer service. This location is so crazy during peak times, which is sort of a lot through out the week. Personally, I only go to this location if the line is short (within the property line). How are you open at 6:30 and have nothing ready at 8:30? Listen, I know I shouldn't be getting fast food early in the morning but it's Saturday and I wanted to get something for me and the Saturday crew. This place was on the way, so why not. I get in the drive-through line, put in my order - enough to feed three people - and then move forward. I would say there's about five cars in front of me, nothing too crazy. I had 45 minutes to get to work and without stoplights, I could get there in 3 minutes, so PLENTY time. Im just chilling in my car when I realize "it's been a long time since I moved" and I noticed the car in front of my left without getting their food. I check my clock - it's been fifteen minutes! Okay, four cars in front of me, I still got time, I can make it. The first car gets their food and now there's only two cars in front of me. My first time eating at a Chick-fil-A or scratch that. I ate at Chick-fil-A in Memphis when I was there for a month for work. The Beretania location has a very efficient ordering process where they have staff waiting for you as you pull up the menu menu even make suggestions. The line, although long moves very efficiently. The staff there are super friendly. I ordered the chicken deluxe sandwich with cheddar cheese meal their waffle cut potatoes are delicious although a little bit salty for my taste. Haven't been here in a year and decided to stop by for breakfast before an appointment i had in the area. The breakfast chicken biscuit didn't taste as good as it used to, the biscuit tastes like a different recipe. In comparison, Mcdonald's has a better biscuit w their bacon egg and cheese biscuit and Popeyes has a way better biscuit. The taste just wasn't like a biscuit. The hash browns was as usual. The coffee seemed kinda sour and weak. The service was a bit slow waiting for the food with only 2 cars in front of me and considering they have no dine in, i had to wait for a while just for my hot plain brewed coffee after getting my chicken biscuit and hash browns. . I don't recommend coming here if you're in a hurry. Don't forget to order sauce because they won't ask you, and i left with no chick fil a sauce because i forgot to order it. If you're driving and waiting in line, please be considerate and don't block other homes/businesses on the road. The drive thru line can get backed up at times but it will move. Slowly. Went through the drive through and asked if they do anything for Teacher Appreciation Week. They were rude and dismissive and acted like it was a dumb question. When in reality, most chick Fil A locations do something for teachers. Sad and disappointing that this location doesn't support teachers and chose not to do anything. I needed to grab an early lunch, couldn't order on-line until they were opened, so I drove around until the drive thru was opened. Quick bite, mac and cheese and chicken tenders. I usually grab an extra and add it to a salad at lunch since I work at Straub and it's still under $10 even if I add a cookie for my coworker. Service is mediocre. Ok so before Chick-fil-A made it's way to Hawaii, my family would always seek it out in the mainland to at least eat it once. But now that it's here I got to see how it compared to the mainland. I will say it's about the same. I usually order the spicy deluxe chicken sandwich with waffle fries Chick-fil-A sauce and a frosted lemonade (if u havent tried this it's something u have to try at least once in your life). But then one day I decided to try their salads. And OH MY GOODNESS! It was soo delicious that I've been getting that ever since. I recommend either the Cobb salad or market salad both with the avacado lime ranch dressing. If u like more protein with egg, go with the cobb salad. But if u like more fruits (strawberry and blueberries) go with the market salad. The other day we were at the food court at Ala Moana SC. We were thirsty and no queue as always, first in line I ordered lemonade and non-sweetened ice tea. The friendliest perfect Aloha smile of the register I must say represent Chick-fil-A! Lemonade a bit sweet and premade didn't taste like freshly squeeze lemon? Okay I won't lie, the biggest bummer is no inside seating/parking so when it is bumping (which is every time I go, because hello it's Chick Fil A why wouldn't everyone be coming here for breakfast, lunch, and dinner!?) you have to really make sure you're in the right line going to the drive thru... While will making sure you're not blocking any driveways or getting rammed from behind because you're in the line that has snaked out onto the road. With that said, there is nothing that can be done so you just need to grin and bear it. The crew is extremely professional, and the line moves despite the high demand. I ate a breakfast chicken biscuit sandwich for the first time and it was PHENOMENAL. Simple: just a very tasty biscuit (not artificial tasting like Popeyes, or low grade like McDonalds) and a fried piece of chicken, no sauces on mine. Amazing tasting chicken! This chick fil an opened like a year ago? It's still so popular and the line can be out to the street. They don't have any seating or parking... so you're forced to sit in the drive through line or try to find street parking and walk over. All of that being said, chick fil a has great chicken sandwiches and salads. I also love their lemonade and tea. The workers are friendly and they try to be as efficient as possible. I like the app because I can collect points for free food items. They also allow you to order through the app, but you still have to wait in the drive through line to pick up your food. Their chicken sandwiches are better than other fast food chains. It is thicker and meatier which I like. Service is also very good and quick. Too bad they don't offer dine in especially when their building is pretty large. Only problem I have is that the chicken sandwich does not come out hot. It's usually less than warm which can be difficult to eat. They also do not give you sauce unless you ask for it. My favorite sandwich, honey pimento chicken, is also temporary. I got here an hour before closing, so they weren't that busy. It was around a five minute wait. This location is a drive through or take out only. There's no dining in. We opted for the drive through. Everything went smoothly. Someone takes your order when you pull in. Then, you drive around to the other side and pick up your order from the window. I got the Chick-fil-A Chicken meal. It comes with a drink and waffle fries. It tasted exactly like all the other Chick-fil-A food that I've had. However, the fries can be a hit or miss. They need to fry it longer. It wasn't crispy. I also ordered the cookies & cream milkshake. That was delicious, creamy and not too sweet. I was super excited to try Chick-fil-A! As a newbie, I was excited to hear that they were finally going to be in Hawaii. They opened their first location on Oahu at Ala Moana shopping Center Food Court, but I tried to go there several times, but the line was so incredibly long. It reminded me of an Apple event! Lol. Needless to say, I was waiting in anticipation that this location would finally open, and it did. I did not realize that it is a drive thru location only, as I was hoping to enjoy dining in so I could take it all in. This location is on Beretania Street right across the street from McDonald's. First thing I noticed was there was a line in the drive-through, but everything went very quickly. I was warmly greeted by Manuel, who helped me place my order, and suggested I get the number 2 spicy chicken deluxe sandwich meal, since I was a newbie. He ordered the spicy sandwich since I like heat. The meal comes with waffle fries, and a medium drink, which I ordered lemonade. Since I had no idea what sauce to choose from, he suggested the Chick-fil-A sauce as you "can't go wrong with it." I was able to pay with my credit card and within a matter of minutes I was picking up my meal and on my way home. Customer service is amazing from when I pulled into when I was leaving, everybody had a huge smile on their face, was super polite, and seem to enjoy working here. On arriving home I gobbled my meal down. The spicy chicken sandwich had a little heat, wasn't overly spicy for my taste. I did put the Chick-fil-A sauce on my sandwich and also use it as a dipping sauce for my waffle fries. Lemonade had a nice tart taste to it, and wasn't overly sweet. The second Honolulu location of Chick-fil-A has arrived on 7-27-23! With cheerful employees greeting customers with smiles, ringing cow bells, and schwag, cars lined up from the corner of Pensacola Street and Beretania Street. This drive-through only system was quite organized with four order-takers, two lanes of vehicles which merged into one, and a mobile payment checker. I paid at the window by credit card after following directions by employees standing between cars. The Chick-n-Minis meal came with a drink and hash browns. Finally, a drive thru Chick fil A in town. As expected, everyone and their grandparents were in the long but fast moving driv thru. It kind of reminded me of being in an In N Out drive-through line where a worker comes up to your window and takes your order. The person continues to follow alongside your vehicle to give you time to order. It really helped speed things along. I heard they are going to continue doing it like this until August 10th. They even had walk-up tents to place your order, which is pretty cool. We ordered 8 pieces of chicken nuggets, waffle fries, a spicy chicken sandwich, and frosty lemonade. The chicken nuggets had a nice crispy batter. Kind of reminded me of Popeyes crispy chicken. The nuggets while tasty, we on the small side. With the competition across the street, which has a special on their app 20 piece for the same price as their 8 piece, will make it a tough sale. Although the website shows chicken tenders, they told us this location doesn't have them, which we were kind of heartbroken as we wanted to try them. This is why we got the nuggets instead. Their spicy chicken sandwich also had a nice crispy outside. It came with thinly sliced pickles that complemented the spicy chicken. I think the CFA sauce would go nicely with this sandwich. Although it looked plain, it was very tasty. The waffle fries were very tasty and weren't oily. One thing I didn't care for which other companies do it to is that the fries weren't filled all the way. We were not able to see the fries as they were below the top front rim of the holder. I hope they train their workers to fill them up to the top. We so ordered their frosty lemonade, which was really refreshing and not too tart. It was just right. The workers were very patient and very polite. I love it when people say you're welcome instead of no problem. It just bugs me when people say that. What makes me happy is when people say it's my pleasure, which is what multiple people did. It must be part of their training. They have breakfast here!! Enough said as Nadine C was the smart one going bright and early my first question to her was do they have breakfast!? Yup! Woohoo!! I do remember my first experience with Chick-Fil-A in Florida as they were everywhere and I did get to enjoy the dine in experience sadly this place doesn't offer. Though they do have a drive thru and I'm sure with pressure they did plan it and planned it well. Like many chain places they did bring in trainers from the mainland who could answer any questions on the fly though for me driving up and thankfully are familiar with the menu somewhat knew I wanted breakfast and asked about it and is available through 10:30. I got the "Egg White Grill" meal with Hash Browns and Simply Orange Juice, and when asked about sauce I replied with what do you suggest which was jelly so I opted for that along with ketchup for my hash browns and you proceed once ordered and paid by card. You then merge into one lane for pick up and they noted the color of my car and name which took several staff to do so is insane. I was in and out in just minutes, super fast and hopefully very productive so and was delighted to see everything is there all my sauces, napkins all packed up perfectly. The vibe was so happy and welcoming on this first day of operation this location looks more promising and one that I will frequent mores as they have breakfast and not just the lunch menu.
