Anyway, Isis talked about how guests come there for a "relaxing" experience. I'd just had a close friend die, and told her I needed calm and quiet. She proceeded to ignore my request and would not stop talking for an hour. About what she makes for dinner after work. About her tattoos and all the new ones she plans to get. About some upcoming party she was cooking for. Meanwhile, her actual work was spotty, inconsistent, and patchy since she wasn't paying attention to what she was doing, as she was too distracted by her own stories the entire time to focus on me. I knew the results would be mediocre, incomplete, and not good enough -- and unfortunately, I was right. When I got home, I looked more closely at my legs. I saw that my thighs hadn't been touched, and my calves were a hit or miss. Considering the price, the overall vibe, and feeling obligated to tip Isis 20%, it was a waste of my time and money. Isis is rough, and rough around the edges. She is immature and inexperienced. She told me she'd *just* graduated from beauty school, and it shows. She lacks social skills, professionalism, emotional IQ, and waxing expertise. Her touch is heavy-handed, and the way she spreads the wax (I've done this professionally for years myself) is thick, clunky, and hard. So by the time she pulls it off, it's unnecessarily uncomfortable. I take no pleasure leaving such a negative review. But she was awful and I'm sad I have to go elsewhere now.

Today was the last straw --- I came in earlier than my appointment time and rather than honoring my appointment time, they allowed someone who was late to their appointment to go prior to me... so of course I said something. Rosa, one of the incompetent women who sits behind the desk scrolling on her phone with her feet kicked up, was extremely rude and nasty when I told her that my appointment shouldn't be pushed back regardless of the "9 minute grace period". Needless to say, I canceled my appointment, and I won't be returning to any EWC facility.
