My nail beds are sensitive and I stick with someone who can make my nails look good and not hurt me. I get compliments on my manicures all the time. The current owner/manager Michelle is friendly. She's always hustling, not in a bad way. (Why don't you get a massage?, You should try our new facialist!, etc). They do offer A LOT of services and have private rooms for waxing, facials, eyelashes, etc. What I love about the place is it is relatively quiet and relaxing. People are asked to keep cell phone use short, children do not come in and get noisy, there is no TV. Kids are great but grown-ups are allowed some peace and quiet in some places. It has the most spa-like atmosphere of the nail salons in the area.

Dear Diary, Day 22:…read more It's been twenty two long days since I had my eyelashes put on. At this point, I'm convinced the extensions have fused with my natural lashes and will never come off. After day 8 I became frustrated with these things because I was sensitive to the glue so I tried removing them with oil. Regular oil and oil based eye makeup remover were tried. They barely moved. I think I lost 5 lashes and the rest stayed. It's ok. I've come to accept that they are now my lashes, here to stay, possibly forever. My eyes have toughed up to the glue and are much less sensitive now because, frankly, there was no choice. These things are durable and put on so well. If I ever need eyelash extensions again, I will probably go back and have them done at I Lash 4ever. When I had them put on, it was so relaxing I kept falling asleep. I just wish my eyes weren't initially so sensitive to the glue but my eyes are sensitive to everything so it was to be expected. But, who knows if I'll ever need eyelash extensions again, my dear diary. These things have barely moved off my face in three weeks. I went in for a fill but was honored for a full set price of a Groupon. I noticed my in/outside edges of the lashes were not filled but my eyes were burning after the fill, so I didn't say anything as I didn't want to repeat the process. Still, I have to find another location to go in again today and am totally bummed that I have to do so so soon.

I came out looking like spider legs popping out of my eyes. That was my immediate reaction upon seeing the results and freaked out a bit. She told me that it was good and she already chose the most natural looking ones. I've had the clump lashes done before that looked more natural. It was weird that despite the fact that I wasn't happy - they continued to call and follow up to see if I wanted to get them filled a few weeks later.

I expected her to use an electric tattoo pen or something but she did everything by hand. She told me she did use the electric tattoo thing sometimes but for the shape I wanted, this was the best way and looked most natural. Overall, very pleased with my experience. She did an awesome job and really took her time. This lady really knows her stuff and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. She reapplied the numbing gel when I felt discomfort and touched up areas at the end that I pointed out were a little sparse. I'll be going back for a touch up in six weeks. The girls in the shop suggested that I do the trial before an event so I could make the most of my made up face. I went to a wedding later that day and received nothing, but incredible compliments on my make up. Second time around, I returned for my shower make up. Ashlee was working a different event and wasn't able to do my makeup, instead I had Jessica. Jessica was so lovely and personable. She chatted with me the entire time and mixed colors to find the best shade for me and my skin tone. It was amazing. Then for my big day, the store was so accommodating and they were happy to travel wherever I needed them to. It was greatly appreciated that their travel time was already worked into the price. I was only expecting Ashlee and Jessica, but we also got Nicky at no extra cost! All three of them were wonderful and worked very efficiently to make sure that each of my bridesmaids, my mother, and I were all well taken care of. Ashlee was even happy to pause on her way out to help touch up my makeup after I smudged it. Highly recommend working with Muah. Their store is super cute too!
