We all have bad days i guess but i will never forget how accommodating Keico and her staff were to me despite all the problems I caused in regards to scheduling. The technician removed these horrible lashes that I had gotten at amazing lash in Englewood. The old ones were clumpy, uneven, itched like CRAZY, and just plain gross looking (think Snooki after a long night of drinking!) My new lashes are beautiful, soft, natural looking, and most importantly, super comfortable! I'm so glad i came to Keicos to get them repaired right away instead of suffering for another 2 weeks. After a couple of visits, I realized that you have to be careful with which tech you get. Some put way too much glue. Also, some techs use a light over your eye, which creates a huge discomfort to me. Imagine a bright light on top of your eyes for an hour... Today I had my second appointment at Keico's Eyelashes and it was super easy to schedule an appointment on the same day. I had been to Keico's last year and loved how my lashes looked and lasted. I got a sexy look today with lashes .11mm on the middle and .12mm on the outside last time I believe I got them .12mm and .13 but this time I wanted a more natural look so I went for a size smaller. The glue burned a little at the end but nothing crazy...the girls were nice and the area looked clean and I ensured that the table paper was changed. I over heard the owner speaking to a customer and she told her that they used extra glue since her natural eye lashes were oily but that If she had any problems with them to let her know in case she needed a touch up or anything. I liked that the workers are honest and loyal to their customers and don't give you trouble when it comes to applying discounts. I'm not sure why this place has such good reviews because the staff there are pretty incompetent. It's also pretty cramped and unsanitary in there. The girl who did my lashes didn't change the table paper and she basically put 10 lashes on each eye... Updated review: while Keico is obviously a smart business woman and very successful, but she is definitely cheap with the product she uses. The lashes she uses are the very hard plastic bristly types. It makes my eyes itchy and is uncomfortable to sleep on as a side sleeper because you can feel them pressing into your eyes. The techs also vary in skills. The one I got recently glued some extensions on 2 of my real lashes and that makes them twist and turn when one real lash falls off, so the extension dangles awkwardly. Love Keico's !!! Like another review has stated, you have to find the right lash tech for you. Someone may not work for you, but she can also be great for someone else. If you are unhappy with something, you have to address it and they will work around it. Lauren is my go to! She is the best! After a few refills, I told her I wish to get them a little longer but she advised me that she noticed my real lashes grow really fast and since I wear contacts/glasses, it may bother me when it grows and she is absolutely right! I completely trust her! I've heard of lash techs at other places doing whatever they want. Just reading their pages of IG policies stresses me out. I had a not so great experience for my first time because I felt like there was a lot of glue but Keico herself called me and accommodated my concerns. She didn't make any excuses and even offered for me to come in that day to fix it herself. She's the one who recommended Lauren or Susie. Here we are... I have been going to Keico's for a year! I got my lashes done on Monday. during the process, my left eye was hurting a little. Usually after getting my lashes done, my eyes tend to burn a little but goes away after a couple of minutes. However, later that night, my left eye was still red and burning. It's been two days and my bottom left eye is still red and has a slight pain. Usually when I'm getting my lashes done, i fall asleep and my eyes tend to not stay close. This time, i was awake the whole time so i know my eyes stayed closed. They clearly used way too much glue and gave me a chemical burn. This has only happened to me once before so i know i need to use antibiotic eyedrops. This review is definitely a little late, but I just want to first say how amazing, clean and friendly this place is! Keico the owner is sweet and always tries her best to accommodate me. I have done my eyelashes from this salon for about 6-7 months (touched up lashes every 3 weeks). I honestly have no complaints. I haven't had any issues with any of the technicians. If you are unhappy with someone, give it a second chance and try a different technician. Lashes are great quality and do not look fake. Also MJ is my favorite. She is AMAZING and takes her time. My lashes literally looked perfect whenever I got it done from her. I always tried my best to book with her. Called to book an appt, lady who answered the phone just booked an "appt" didn't ask me what I wanted or anything. Showed up, so imagine my surprise when they told me what they would do, not ask me what I wanted. Three stars because my lashes turned out great except I had less lashes on one side. I asked the Lady to fix it and she gave me a blank stare and said I had natural lashes that could fill that part in....? Then while paying I wanted to give a $5 tip (Mind you, all they tell you is to bring tip in cash) the lady then tells me it is a mandatory tip of $20. I was never informed of this, I'm from NY so I thought maybe it's a NJ thing so I agreed to the 20% (not that I had a choice). My total was $69 when I asked how much I should give the lady asked me if idk how to calculate 20% and if I couldn't to take out my calculator. So RUDE. I'm very new to the whole eyelash extension thing. I didn't even know they existed until very recently. But, as someone who hates & sucks at doing my makeup, I'll do just about anything to make my makeup routine easier. Eyelash extensions are perfect for looking prettier and more put together when you're not wearing any/very minimal makeup. They definitely took a while to get used to (sleeping and showering got a little more complicated because I'm a lifelong stomach sleeper) but now I can't imagine my face without them. The whole experience is a strange one. You walk into this little room in a building and you lie down on a cot and they put a warm blanket over you while soft relaxing music plays. It would be VERY easy to fall asleep here but I'm way too anxious to be able to get that relaxed when someone is fidgeting with my eyelashes. I have to give a big thanks to the woman who does my lashes (whose name I don't know) for putting up with my EXTREME EYE TWITCHING. Oh my god, I felt so bad for her. My eyes would literally not stop twitching like crazy while she was working on me. The more I thought about it, the more they twitched! I don't know how I'll remedy this next time I go (no coffee beforehand maybe? Pop a xanax?) but it was so embarrassing so I really hope I can fix this. The lashes do start falling out quickly (usually they're on my pillow in the morning and I only have myself to blame) but they maintain their look for a week or two. After 2 weeks, they really start going in different directions and get hard to brush out. If you start with the new client special (which I did) and go at least every 2-3 weeks, you'll never pay more than $60 for a touch-up (not including the highly recommended $20 tip). I'll keep coming back so long as they don't ban me for excessive eye twitching. read more

I came here for the first time yesterday and it was great! This was my first time getting individual lashes, so I was walking in looking to be advised as to what would be best for my face. The woman who did my lashes was very gracious and asked me if I wanted them very curled or less curled. I went for very curled, I figured if I'm getting faux lashes I might as well go all out. She showed me all the curled lash length options, I didn't know what to choose, but she assured me that she had an idea of which to use and I love them! They are very natural looking and they brighten up my entire face. She was also very gentle and I even fell asleep during the process. I love that you can just lay there under a blanket and they do all the work! I enjoyed my appointment very much. It's so nice to go in and come out feeling rested and cute! I'd recommend this place to anyone! It's a little over my budget to maintain the lashes but for a special occasion or the new customer deal they have, it's TOTALLY worth it! I've been going to Keico on and off for over two years now. I've been more consistent lately because I am so IN LOVE with them. I refuse to try another eyelash extension place because I love the work that Keico does on me! I always come out feeling beautiful with my lashes. You don't feel anything. I've tried them all and I noticed that the C curl fits me best. She takes her time and listens to your concerns. The lashes never feel heavy. In fact I don't even feel them on. I don't see them whenever I blink. I feel like I'm not even wearing them! I have gotten so many compliments from friends, family, and even strangers. I found Keico through Groupon and after reading such spectacular reviews I decided to book my appointment! The staff is friendly and the owner is very sweet too but I'm a little disappointed on how short of a time my lashes lasted. I've gotten them done before at another place and they should last a full 2 weeks with gentle care but they lasted about a week. So this is my go to place to get never fail amazing lashes for a decent price mark! I travel half an hour just to get them done and honestly it's worth the travel. I have places near my area and they are great. But I noticed that the glue that they use here (does not burn my eyes, nor do I get an allergic reaction); my lashes stay on for a longer time. Sure eventually they fall out because of natural eyelash growth but even after 2-3 weeks they're still hanging on stronger than other places. They're very professional. They have a little chart to show you what they can do to get what you want. The chart shows different lengths, thickness, eye shape and how many lashes aka set. (They also have reference pictures from their past clients) I also appreciate they give suggestions to what may suit your eye shape; that's helpful for first timers if they don't know what to get. They know how to do natural sets and my favorite vavavoom lashes! I also appreciate their patience because I have been late a couple of times. I give them a call and they give me a grace period. My favorite lash tech is MJ! Her placement of eyelashes is an OCD girls dream haha they're symmetrical and just perfect! She tells you how to care for them so they last longer and how to clean them because although you're not supposed to I sometimes put mascara... but at least it's waterbased! So glad I found Keico! I had been frustrated with going to salons that not only charge a lot, but also with the poor quality of the lashes and lack of skill in the lash application. At other places my lashes would fall out way too quickly and I was just disappointed with the products used (hard lashes, strong caustic smelling glue, etc). I was about to give up the glam look of lush lashes which I loved. I just figured, this is the reality of what's available (believe me, I've tried alot of different places! Expensive to cheap, NJ to Manhattan and back!) Than I found Keico, her lashes are super soft and she applies them so well, I think they can last well past one month, however I do get my refills done every 3 weeks to keep them full looking. She is so accommodating with appointments and having to reschedule sometimes when things come up and her prices are very reasonable. How amazing the customer service is here! Last week I came in for a full set of flat volume lashes and my left eye was done perfectly and felt extremely light. However, my right eye was not filled up to all the way and many fell out oddly in a couple of days. So, thinking how odd it was that only one eye's worth of eyelashes fell out I called up and ask what can be done. They set up a time right away on the day I called and Keiko personally made sure that eye was filled up correctly. No fuss at all! I came here because of the great deal they had on lashes. my natural lashes are damaged. The lashes ruined my natural lashes which were double the thickness that they are now and the told me they use mink silk lashes which I can tell they are 100% plastic. A lot of other places are very hit or miss, one day you get amazing lashes another time not so much but keico's has been the most consistent for me. I have always gotten experienced technicians which i really appreciate. i hate when i have tried a new lash place & they put a newly hired tech to work on my lashes, such a delicate area, no idea why some locations do this because they lose my business. & if you have done your lashes enough times you know within the first few minutes if the tech is experienced or not.
