Went here this week for brunch on my birthday. I was a little nervous trying a new place for a special occasion, but I was really impressed. The food and service were both really good! There are quite a few things on the menu I want to try, so I will definitely be back. My only suggestion to management would be not having your bartender also wait the patio - especially the day after a holiday. It seemed to be unusually busy. Although we were not in any rush and thought Kyra was amazing at multi tasking with a smile, she was clearly stretched thin making all the drinks for the restaurant and waiting on the 4-5 tables that were outside on the patio. I told Kyra how great she was doing and she had such a positive attitude. I am curious to see what is on the new menu as we were told some new stuff was coming out as well as some dinner service times too! Looking forward to seeing this place grow. read more

What a pleasant surprise!! Old Town for the most part isn't my fav because the service is subpar, but this place killed it! Food was amazing, ambiance was badass, and the staff was very friendly. Definitely check this place out if your in the area. They have a brunch and lunch menu and lots of fun drinks to choose from. We had Eggs Benedict and a Southwest Chicken salad for brunch with the Sangria flight and a Bloody Mary. The Sangria flight was delicious. They were kind enough to seat our table of 13 at 4:00 on a Friday right away. The wait staff was lovely and everything was absolutely delicious. I noticed they put a lot of care & time into making their drinks and every drink is gorgeous! The food was awesome as well- I couldn't even finish my fish tacos plate. Three tacos was 1 too many apparently! Leftovers to go are never a bad thing though! Next time I'm going to try the Elote. I've also heard rave reviews about the Breakfast menu. We happened to come to this amazing place by accident. One of us is vegan and needed vegan options. It was so delicious and the portions are sooo generous. Our server Madison was also super wonderful. We had the hummus plate, and it was the best I've ever had. All our other dishes were also very flavorful. Love coming here but lately the food is ok. 1. I need breakfast to come out HOT! 2. Scrambled eggs don't need to come out brown and overcooked. 3. Butter does NOT taste like butter. It's a whipped up shortening at best. It tastes awful. Please make these changes. read more

We tried Haven Haus this weekend and it was great! We were seated within 5 minutes and the food came out in less than 20 minutes. The burgers were decent. I loved the fries. My daughter liked the crepes, but thought it was a little too sweet. We liked the Cesar salad with chicken. The place is so pretty! I love the furniture and decor, beautiful aesthetics. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Even though it was super busy because of The Rod Run, we did not have to wait long. The place is new and they got it together. Staff is nice and our server was so sweet and attentive. Prices are decent. I hope they have dinner service in the future, I would definitely go! I highly recommend Haven Haus. Right off the bat, our server, Madison was amazing! She was super friendly and attentive. The Coffee Flight was cute and included: Hazelnut (fave), Mocha, Vanilla & Caramel for $11.95. Although next time, I would probably just get a full sized espresso drink. The Meat Lover's Omelette $15.95 was packed with meat, no skimping there! The house potatoes were good & had bell peppers and onion. The biscuit was a little hard, but the gravy was delicious! The Nutella Crepes $11.95 were good, as well. The ambiance is super cute, with a few spots with lighted signs with different sayings, fun for pictures. Went for lunch on a friday and was very underwhelmed. Menu is a weird mix of breakfast or Mexican food (as if Temecula needs ANOTHER Mexican restaurant, especially in old town) - and it all tastes the same. Neither my wife, nor I, could finish the meals as it was that bland amd greasy. Lets not forget the name is GERMAN and they sell MEXICAN cuisine. Wtf? The bairria was flavorless and super greasy. Service was slow with only one refill offered over the course of an hour. The location has potential, but they have to fire the chef and bring in a new menu. read more

My daughter and I came to have a nice lunch together. We were seated outside. They have 2 patio areas with lots of umbrellas for shade. It took about 15-20 min before anyone came to take our drink order and by that time we were ready to order food as well. I ordered an iced latte. It came out quickly. My daughter got a lemonade. When the food came out we had to remind the waiter about the lemonade, he then brought it out. Overall, the service was not the best, not sure it was because we were outside or if this is typical but. We were not really checked on often. I ordered the breakfast croissant sandwich with the country potato's and biscuits and gravy. The sandwich was good but I could live without the jam that comes on it. The jam wasn't jamming! I never got my biscuits and gravy. When I asked about it when the waiter came out, which was with the check, he said he could get some to go but they weren't an extra charge, insinuating that the price is the same regardless of me getting the full order or not. My daughter got the chicken biscuits. She liked them. Comes with 3 biscuits and coleslaw. She said she would have liked to have less biscuits and add a side. read more

I love coming to Haven house for brunch. Their food is so delicious and their portions are gigantic and I think they have such fair pricing for what you get. I brought my mom and my sister yesterday. Food is incredible. Their margarita flight is the best . The breakfast is probably the best thing there. We always get treated like rocks stars when we show up. The inside is def a great place for insta photos if you're into that. But def try the breakfast platter it can feed about 3-4 people and the price is super inexpensive. read more

I live in Banning. My niece lives in San Diego. That puts Temecula just about in the middle. So we chose Haven Haus. They're spelling "House" wrong but I won't hold that against them. LOL My niece and her BF got a flight of four lattes. They liked them all and they looked really great. They all were topped with whipped cream so fancy and dessert-y. Dave got mocha coffee and loved it. And they put pretty design on top so they was fun. See photo. Now for the food. Really great all the way around. I had the breakfast enchiladas-so good. 2 Cheesy enchiladas topped with your choice of sauce and two eggs cooked your way!! This included beans and rice and they were also very good. My niece and her BF had the brunch platter and OMG! Pancakes, French toast, waffles, a bowl of scrambled eggs and pretty good portions of bacon and sausage. Oh and a perfect bowl of fruit. This is something I think at least 3-4 people could share, easily. The two of them didn't even finish half of it. But...leftovers. We first went on a Thursday and it was surprisingly busy but we were seated quickly. You can join the waitlist from their website which is a huge plus in Temecula. The decor inside is soooo cute, mid century modern with unique touches. Our server Erica was very sweet and helpful. She went above and beyond to ensure that our experience was to our liking. I had the chilaquiles verdes and they were very tasty. Paired with authentic tasting beans and rice, I was only sad that I couldn't finish it all. Their regular coffee was tasty and bottomless. They also have a coffee flight available. My picky toddler enjoyed his pancake and sausage. The breakfast burrito my husband tried was very good as well. When we went back, we tried the crepes and red chilaquiles, both were fantastic, as expected. Same great service on a weekend. This place is the worst. The staff is terrible and the food is mediocre at best. After having an issue with our food, the waitress seemed like she couldn't care less. To make matters worse when we brought it up to the manager Reuben, he came off passive aggressive. I feel like the owners would benefit from sending in a secret shopper where a problem arises. Well, I've been here many times and have had many good experiences, but something changed recently .... SIGNIFICANTLY!!! The food quality has turned to total junk. I recently came there with a group of friends and we ordered various items off the menu.. without getting too much into detail, I'll say that you're better off eating reheated food from Burger King. Food quality is not consistent with the pricing and atmosphere.... The servers are very unfamiliar with the menu, and it doesn't even have the draft beer advertised on the menu. In fact, the off of the menu beer I ordered keg ran out. Mimosa flight was made with very cheap wine and multiple ladies in my group were appalled by the quality of the drinks. When we arrived, we say there for about 15 minutes (we were the boy large group in the restaurant), and the servers all sat by the bar mingling and laughing prior to someone non chalantly coming over to help us... I was quite surprised when I ordered a chicken sandwich and it was delivered within 4 minutes - then I realized, this isn't fresh food... clearly.
