Haven Haus Cafe has a fantastic location right in Old Town and the staff was so kind and welcoming. I had high hopes for the Benny Avo Benedict with country potatoes, but it turned out to be really bland and needed a lot of salt and hot sauce to get some flavor going. My partner's country fried steak was nice and tender, but also tasted like it was missing seasoning. With a little more attention to the seasoning in the kitchen, this place would be a total 5-star winner because the vibe and service are wonderful. 3 stars for now!
Great breakfast spot in the heart of Old Town Temecula. It can get crowded during prime time for weekend brunch, though if you hop on the waitlist before you arrive, it lessens the overall wait. Large patio and bar seating area with indoor dining as well. Modern decor inside with a bright natural light. Employees were friendly and good ratio of service staff to patrons. Food came out in a decent amount of time after being ordered with a fairly busy restaurant. Portion sizes are generous for many items so don't order too much unless you're hungry. The coffee did take quite a while to arrive after the food, so that was a bit disappointing. Onto the food: French Toast- 4 large pieces of Texas Toast which had good egg flavor and soaked up the syrup well. Chicken & Waffles- Waffle was cooked exactly as I like with a bit of crisp to it. Held up great even after syrup. The chicken portion was good with 2 good sized pieces with light breading. The problem was it was so dry, it was barely edible with sauce. Took quite a bit to chew through. Will definitely be back if I'm in the area as overall the food, service, and ambience makes it worth the weight. If you're fine with walking, easy parking available about a block up in the large parking garage as street parking otherwise if you want to be super close.
Came here during Saturday breakfast with the family. Chicken and waffles was good as well as the breakfast burrito. The drinks were also pretty good. I had the Beetlejuice drink which was ube and matcha. Pretty good spot to try in the area. I'll be back to try other things on the menu.
Would come back to Temecula just to eat at this place. Wait was long but so worth it. Explored the streets while we waited. Had an amazing waitress named Illana who was extremely attentive and seemed like one of the girls whenever we stopped by our table. The place was a vibe. So much to look at, beautiful plants everywhere. Even the bathroom was clean and fun to look at. Food was a vibe as well. Delicious & beautiful to look at. Already missing my pumpkin pancake shaken espresso haha!
Food was amazing and ambience is so cool! Best part was our server Iliana. Phineas, who made our delicious cappuccinos. We would come back for the cappuccinos alone. The am a business owner and what catches my attention is when service is amazing. Thank you Haven Haus Cafe and thank Iliana.
Visited Haven Haus for the coffee flight yet I left with the flight, a seasonal sample and a yummy chilaquiles platter. I went alone and sat at the nicely decorated bar, the service was quick and staff was friendly. Will return!
Cute breakfast/brunch spot with pretty pink and green decor! Love the mix of modern and vintage pieces throughout the restaurant. We always make a stop here for breakfast whenever we're in the Temecula area. Hands down, their churro-style French toast is the best, and their skillets are yummy too! They also offer lattes, teas, and mimosas. The waitresses are attentive as well. Great spot to enjoy breakfast or brunch with friends and family!
Cute place, but not worth the wait. If it's busy, try to see if there are seats at the bar since those are first come, first serve. Food and drinks were ok. For breakfast, we got the Spanish latte, tequila sunrise, and honey chicken biscuit sliders. Service was slow. My coffee arrived last out of all the items.
First time to this brunch restaurant today with friends and we were so excited because the pictures online looked amazing! We like that we could join the waitlist especially on a weekend to guarantee our place in line. When we arrived we were seated right away outside on the patio. The umbrella at our table fell on us twice which was really inconvenient but the manager was able to take care of us. We loved our drinks! The chai latte was pretty good, the pb & slay was super sweet if you're into that. The ube matcha had great flavor too. The crunchy french toast was so delicious! Great flavor & great texture. The breakfast sandwich was so good, but I just didn't care for the jam on it very much. Huge portions here great menu overall, can't wait to be back again.

Came on a weekday by 10 am to meet a bunch of girl friends, we were 6 . Table are not large so can feel a little tight on the seating. We were charged the large party group so automatically added 20% gratuities. Staff was friendly and attentive, came over several times to ask if we needed anything. The food presentation and taste were both good. Started to get busy around 11:30 pm. They did split our checks which was nice. Would definitely come back again
Good atmosphere...dining inside and out (with misters). Combo of tables, counter, booths and high tops with nice decor. Service good and everyone friendly. Food a good mix with hummus board, shrimp ceviche, salads, tacos and sandwiches. Great breakfast menu too although we visited for lunch. We had Cobb salad (good) and steak protein bowl (very good) plus guacamole and chips (good and homemade chips). Thoroughly enjoyable meal and we'll b back again. Oh, also, good liquor offerings!
Tried Haven Haus for brunch after seeing it recommended on Yelp, and overall it was a pretty good experience. The food was an 8/10, but the drinks were closer to a 4/10. We ordered the crepes since we're big crepe fans. They were a little different than what we expected since they weren't stuffed, but we made it work and they still came out really sweet and enjoyable. I ordered a caramel latte and my husband got a Coke Zero. Even though the drinks didn't hit, the food definitely made up for it. Service was quick, but it felt a bit impersonal since we had three different servers and didn't really get the chance to connect with one. The ambience was really nice -- super chill, and the interior is honestly really pretty if you're into taking pictures. I'd definitely come back and give it another try. I didn't even get to order what I originally had my eye on because the crepes distracted me real quick, so I'm looking forward to trying more of the menu next time.

My Yelp amiga found this place in Temecula for a sweet reunion and brunch date. I was able to add my name to waitlist, just in case it was a busy Saturday. That option is available on their website. Once we sat down, we got lucky and the owner provided all the most popular and yummy plates the restaurant offered. Thank you for the mimosa flight- it was delicious! My friend and I ended up ordering the churro pancake with strawberry and whip cream on top for something sweet and for entrees, we got Meat Lovers omelette and Barbie Benedict. The food was delicious and def worth coming back. The staff were super kind and attentive. Erin, our server,was amazing and not only provided more delicious recommendations from the menu, but also winery options. I had a great experience at the restaurant and the staff made it even better! Our first time at this location and enjoyed everything about our Brunch. The highlight of our experience was our waiter Alex. Every restaurant needs an Alex. Very friendly, patient, answered all of our questions about the menu and made sure we were taken care of throughout our meal. Our food came out quickly and was all Delicious. This is our second time here. First time we were friends and family. All went well and we decided to come back again. We're not normally breakfast people but Brunch we love! It gets very busy depending on the weekend and local events the first time it was around Christmas and it seemed as there were many large parties. I did not like the long wait even though we were on the wait list but I'm gonna let that time slide as it was a busy time of year. But the food and drink were all delicious and the service was fine. The second time was recently and it was not busy at all we put our name early on waitlist but there was literally no wait. Phew! This is a place that services lots of Mexican influenced dishes which is fine. But they also have a variety of American breakfasts and skillets. Everyone enjoyed the skillets and salads. Recently we ordered the Breakfast sandwich OMG so good and the sweet Jam on it really was tasty! My new fave breakfast sandwich. The Huz ordered the Mediterranean steak that was a little tough but it tasted fine. The salad could use a dressing but my Huz was fine with it all and enjoyed. Like this spot and will come back. The food was amazing! I had a build your own omlette and my best girl had a salad and fries. She was bummed they didn't have beyond burgers though. One thing that's lacking in Temecula is more options for those who don't eat meat. When you guys decide to make additions to the menu you may wanna consider adding a veggies burger or beyond burger to your menu. We had lots of Mimosas and stayed until they closed. The service was stellar. Our server was simply the sweetest. Ambiance is super cute! You kinda feel like you aren't in Temecula (which is nice sometimes) overall great experience, we will be back! read more

Decided to try this spot for a brunch triple date! We all came in at different times but the host was super accommodating! Despite the busy morning, we were able to snag a table inside. I ordered the Chicken and Waffle while my partner ordered the sliders. My friend also ordered the coffee flight. The food took awhile to arrive, but was expected due to how busy they were that morning. The coffee flight was shared among the table so that everyone could try. Personally, each one was too sweet for my liking. The chicken and waffle were decent. I think the coleslaw and the fries were the saving grace of the dish. The waffle was too thick and doughy. The sauce was good but I needed hot sauce and ranch to thoroughly enjoy the meal. Service was nice! It was a bit difficult to get their attention here and there but they were responsive to all our needs. Happy to said that I tried the place! read more
Love this place! Great decor! Amazing cofffee and full cocktail, wine, and beer bar. Let me tell you how nice our server was. My poor son as we were getting out of the car to have a father son breakfast smashed his fingers in the car door! Worst way to start breakfast! My 8 yr old son toughed it out but the server saw the tear residue on his cheeks and when he heard what happened brought out a towel and ice. The food, coffee, and staff here are great. Had the breakfast platter (can't find photo, weird), avocado toast, and he got Nutella pancakes . Great breakfast to end a rough start. read more
Solid brunch place in Old Town Temecula! I've been here a handful of times and I've always had a good experience. They have a wide variety of menu items and so far I've tried their Denver Omelette with biscuits and gravy, the fried chicken benedict, and chilaquiles. Everything always tastes great but for some reason, the hash browns are always the highlight of my meal! You'd think it's super simple but that make it nice and crispy every time, just the way I like it! I looooove the interior decor and the place has a great vibe overall. The ambience was great, but the food was greasy and flavorless. :/ We couldn't eat the fries, sadly they were over fried in what looked like old oil? The meat, (chicken sandwich, and beef burger) were both rubbery ... hmmm yuck The buns and jalapeños on the burger were great. Never saw the waitstaff after we started eating, so there was no way to correct it and then we had to leave ... The ranch & blue cheese dressings seemed seed-oily (as if poured from a grocery store bottle). Homemade is so easy and goes a LONG way. We would not return except for maybe a drink & the atmosphere. read more

This place is in a peftect location in Olw Town Temecula, I've been there twice for brunch and parking is always available. The first time I went, I ordered green chilaquiles but received red chilaquiles instead. I didn't mind at all (I eat everything ), and they turned out to be so good. The portions are huge and very reasonably priced. The second time I was there the birria tacos were absolutely delicious -- they honestly tasted like my home country. That flavor hit in the best way. I also ordered a latte with pancakes on top. I received the hot latte without the pancakes because apparently they're not included on the hot version -- which was totally fine. I mostly ordered that way because it looked pretty and Instagram-able anyway! But what really stood out was the service. A few minutes later, they brought me another latte with the pancakes on top because they realized I had been expecting them. That was such a thoughtful touch. Great food, generous portions, affordable prices, and amazing service. I'll definitely be back! read more

Came here because we have been on a brunch hunt and looking for fun iced coffees to try. The vibe is super cute! The inside is beautiful and they have a decent amount of seating on the patio- it was busy for a Friday around 1045am, we had about a 20 minute wait. I will say service wasn't the best. The food came out fast, which was great, but there was no checking on us, refills or general concern on how we were doing. For this reason we are giving 3 stars. The food was good. It is on the pricey side, but we really enjoyed the menu offerings and everything tasted great. The coffee flight was okay, not our favorite. Overall it was a fun place to visit and we are glad we did, but probably wouldn't need to go back on our own. read more

Service was awesome so polite and welcoming!! The food was absolutely delicious!!! The crepes are cooked to perfection. The fruits were super fresh ! First time visitor and we came on a weekday where the crowd was steady, but it wasn't overwhelmingly busy. We basically sat out on the patio by ourselves for the duration of our brunch. Service was phenomenal, everyone was friendly and helpful, our waitress Maria was super sweet. Went inside to use the restroom and fell in love with the decor and set up. Small, comfy, cozy and welcoming! The peach iced tea was super refreshing, my avocado toast was decent (not the best I've had) This place reminds me of Toast, just with smaller portions and a not so bougie menu, but with a more laid back atmosphere. Service was a little slow but it was very busy so that is to be expected. It was very warm inside the restaurant with it being a very hot day it would've been nicer to not be sweating while eating. Overall the food was really good and the place is cute. read more

So after our last experience my wife and I were invited to come back by the owner in an effort to make things right. I have to say that they hit it out of the park this time! From the minute we walked in until the minute we left Javier and his staff made us feel so welcomed. Everything was great in this visit, the team, the food the ambiance. A special shout out to our waitress, Madison, who did a spectacular job. It was so great to talk to one of the owners and see how they genuinely care about their customers. I can't recommend this place enough. One last note: Try the chilaquiles - they're great! Oooh, and the corn ribs. Yum! Thank you Javier and team for making this visit special. read more

I can only give it a 4 beucase I am a huge buskers and gravy guy and they were not good. The two omelettes were good, customer services was good and overall vibe was dope. I would go back to try their breakfast platter to try more options. read more

We came around 12:45pm after the morning and lunch rush so the restaurant wasn't too busy. We sat outside so we didn't really see inside. We had a corner table with a nice little view. Service was great. Servers were kind and attentive. The food was delicious and the portions were large. We ended up taking enough leftovers for another meal. The drinks were good too. My boyfriend got the beach please latte and it was so cute and delicious. I got another alcoholic beverage but I can't remember the name. I'll insert a picture. We shared a quesadilla which was huge and delicious. My boyfriend ordered the Birria Tacos with a side of rice and beans. They were insanely good. Tasted very authentic. I ordered the Mediterranean plate with chicken. Delicious, juicy, fresh, balanced, and large. We also ordered a basket of waffle fries. We underestimated the size of our food. We took 3 small Togo containers full of food. I would 100% come again just for the fries. 10/10 read more

Haven Haus! I'm in love with you! When in Temecula especially if you're in Old Town on Main Street, Haven Haus is a MUST DO! The food is the food. Nothing to write home about (even the boasted Benedicts) but the atmosphere should make up for it. Hopefully you will end up with a decent server. I on the other hand, chose to sit at the bar having my bartender not only make my beverages but handle my food order. If you go in the summer, sit inside because it does get hot. If you go in the autumn or winter, sit in their patio. You can people watch! Parking is slim to none but if you are lucky enough to find a street stall, parking is free. Footnote- I think they have another Haven Haus location and don't quote me but I think its in Rancho Cucamonga. Just in case you Angelenos don't want to drive all the way to Temecula read more

We arrived around 9:30am and were seated immediately, which was surprising because Sundays are always busy in DT Temecula! Our server, Iliana, was chipper and very welcoming. I ordered a Spanish Latte and the Chicken biscuit sliders, which came with waffle fries. My husband had coffee and the 2 egg breakfast with biscuits and gravy. THE BISCUITS WERE AMAZING! I swear, they were the most moist, delicious biscuits I've had since my husband's Southern grandmother died! The waffle fries had a crispy exterior and a soft interior- just the way I like them. I didn't try my husband's biscuits and gravy, but he said they were really good. The Spanish latte was also delicious! It had just the right balance of cinnamon and chocolate. I ordered my latte, hot, and it was just right. It remained hot throughout my breakfast. Everything about my visit was great. The only reason why I did not give five stars is because there were a few bees in the restaurant, and they made me very uncomfortable. My chicken and biscuits had honey, and it definitely attracted the bees to my plate. My husband had to swat them away from me several times. The door was open to allow the breeze to come in, which I appreciated, but I didn't appreciate the bees trying to join me for breakfast. This was not my first visit to Haven Haus, but it was my first time trying the chicken and biscuits. I would definitely order them again! read more

Yes, we have air conditioning. The A/C stopped working the last two days but we fixed it yesterday. It's now working great.

Not a ton, but yes, I am not sure of the pancakes. I don't think so.
