Why IS NO ONE talking about #hautehash in DC?! @hautehash #dcfoodies #dcfood Their delightful and delicious food is EXCLUSIVELY available ONLY on Saturday and Sunday on New York Ave near Okie Street. You can either pick it up OR have to delivered IF you live within a 15 miles of NY & Okie, DC. They operate out of a ghost kitchen (Union Kitchen) so you'll have to carry it home or somewhere else to EAT. Hours: 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM Saturday and Sunday Pricing: Premium are $20ish & under, Handheld $10ish & under, Add Ons $7 & under and Fresh Squeeze Drinks $4 !! Review: Haute Hash is a Black Business, serving up breakfast, brunch, lunch and early dinner. For brunch I had a handheld and it was truly delicious. The sandwich was the Sausage/Bacon $8 --Fried egg, gouda cheese, arugula, tomato jam, cheddar, buttered brioche. It was probably one of the BEST and TASTIEST sandwiches I've had in a long time. I also ate the Premium -- Salmon Belly Hash $20 --Sunny egg, tomato garlic compote, fontina cheese. I saved this for a early dinner and it was a generous amount and I shared it with my son. It was really good and I enjoyed it. It was great for lunch or an early dinner. This NEWEST #dceatss is NOT to be missed. I'd give ALL their food FIVE Stars outta 5!! Items Reviewed: Their Crabs Benedict Hash (with Jumbo lump crab cake, poached egg, old bay spiced hash, & hollandaise sauce $25). STAMP that crabcake!! It was meatier than I thought it would be. Great service and amazing food. The options are creative and delicious. Definitely a must try for any DMV foodies. This was a pleasant surprise and I would highly recommend. First anyone that knows me know I'm a foodie especially for Seafood. And this new spot Haute Hash nailed it hands down one of THE best Crab cake sandwiches I've ever had. It was prepared with all fresh ingredients from the fresh brioche bun to the arugula with the pickle onions, and a homemade aïoli sauce and the Crab cake was seasoned to perfection. Highly recommended & definitely will be back. read more
