My parents-in-law had a toilet that wasn't draining properly, a semi-emergency since it's the only toilet in their small condo. It was already late in the day, but I found QP Plumbing and messaged them and they were able to have a plumber out early the next morning. Leo was the plumber who visited and he did a lot of troubleshooting: first with a plunger, then an auger, then removing the toilet to inspect the trap and the drain pipe. In the end, we determined that the toilet should be replaced because of its age, and Leo took care of buying a new toilet, installing it, and hauling the old one away. He recommended a toilet that's elongated and slightly higher, which was a great option for our elderly parents with reduced mobility. Leo also replaced the wax ring and flange bolts and caulked the new toilet well. He took the time to do the job right, and the price was quite reasonable. And the new toilet is a huge improvement over the old one. Thanks QP for the quality work and for giving our parents one less thing to have to worry about!

I had this company come out to clear a drain line in the front yard. The technician said the…read moreblockage was from roots, and that he used a camera to confirm it, but would not show me the video or playback when I asked -- repeatedly. As a contractor of 45+ years, I know a camera inspection can be played back so the customer can see exactly where the blockage is, how far down the line it sits, and what the pipe condition looks like. He spent roughly 30 minutes wandering around the property, and when I asked for basic information -- location of the roots, distance, pipe direction, or any camera footage -- I spent another 10 minutes trying to get answers. He still would not provide anything. He avoided questions, turned his back to me, and offered no visual proof or explanation of his findings. The clearing itself took less than five minutes, but I was left with no documentation and no confidence in the outcome. Because of that, I now have Rescue Rooter coming on Monday to run a proper camera inspection and verify the line, since this company gave me nothing to rely on. The owner's public responses to unhappy customers were also not encouraging -- there seems to be very little interest in customer service or follow-up, just the transaction. Very disappointing experience. I will not be using this company again, and I would strongly recommend asking for clear communication, written details, and camera documentation before authorizing any work.
