I went to this has when they first opened and it was great! Too loud, but no problem. I ordered the birria hash, as Birria is a favorite of mine. It was awesome that day, along with the consume, quesadillas, diced potatoes. However, every visit since then has gone down. Yesterday, I convinced my husband to go back. We sat at the bar and waited 10 minutes for someone to acknowledge us. I had to walk over to the hostess stand to ask for menus. Finally, a bartender gave my husband a menu, while I was at the hostess stand. She didn't ask if he even wanted water. So we wait another 10 + min for any of the 4 people behind the bar to take our order. Then, the Birria hash comes out. Potatoes are lazily cooked whole and just pressed into the bottom of the pan, which okay, I can get on smashed potatoes, but these were flavorless, except for a ton of salt. The meat was good, but again, no flavor. The don't give consume anymore, so I wouldn't call this birria at all. Just roast beef w potatoes. I couldn't taste any birria flavor at all. We waited another 20 minutes for the check. The canola donuts were great. If you can stand the wannabe/ loud club music early in the morning, I'd go for the donuts only. Too bad, this place was great at opening. But I guess that was short lived since the news was there that day. read more

All that said , the big Downside to this place is that it is about as loud as a club on Friday night , they play music extremely loud and it's quite distracting and you have to yell your order and yell at people that are with you . Jesus Christ this place is simply awful. It's 11am and they have a dj BLASTING crappy pop music at full blast. I have no clue about the server because we could barely understand what they were saying considering the music however it should be noted that she was accommodating and did take back the coffee and was trying her best. Went by myself to this new place. Got a special breakfast sandwich. Was huge. Couldn't finish. The skillets looked amazing and also large. Likely could split with someone. They have cannoli donuts. You read that right...cannoli donuts. Seemed made to order as mine was hot. An order is 3 donuts. My only complaint is it is a bit loud for a brunch place. Music could dial down maybe 2-3 on the volume knob. Conveniently located and plenty of parking for now. The coffee was hot and fresh. The sunny side up eggs were perfect and tasted great. Quality eggs. The bacon was sweet with brown sugar so if diabetic request regular bacon. The hash brown cubes were cold and old looking, so didn't eat. The waiter, Cody (good guy) replace them with something like at McDonalds. The music was too loud like at a night club. I ask a few others there, and they felt the same way. Loud music may be fun for the staff, but just not a positive experience for most people. I was truly disappointed. Denny's has a great breakfast with better hash browns without the club style music. The eggs and coffee was the reason for the three stars. Not a place for a conversation with family or friends or a business meeting. The music is great for a night club, but not a family restaurant. Way too loud. They said it's normally louder. I'll start with the ambiance. The music was so loud that I could feel it in the seat and on the table. Too loud to have a conversation with my son sitting next to me or anyone else for that matter. We were a party of five and got sat at a table meant for four so space was cramped. The food was decent but not enough to make up for the ambiance. The only good thing I would say about this is our server was attentive and the food came out quickly. Ear-splittingly loud. Hostess wasn't able to hear us at all. No one could talk, which ruined the experience. Gave up trying to talk to even our own table and just texted each other instead. It's never easy opening a new location. You will have growing pains and things won't go well at times. That said, you have to at least appear to be trying to serve your customers. I tried the newest Hash Kitchen location here in Gilbert and it was very disappointing. The cannoli donuts were good and my brisket benedict was solid, but the service was beyond terrible. Our server took the drink order, eventually came back with it(took forever to get coffee) punched in our food order and didn't come back until we flagged her down for the check. No check ins after the food was delivered, no refills on drinks. Basically, the server could have left their ordering platform at our table and we could have done it ourselves and the difference would have been negligible. In a market where you have multiple solid breakfast options within 5 miles, loud music and cool vibes aren't enough to keep customers happy. You have to execute the basics at a high level and this restaurant doesn't. Maybe I'll give Hash another chance, but it's unlikely. read more

We didn't have a wait at all and there was 8 of us, maybe good timing on our end but nonetheless I was impressed we got mimosas.. obviously my mama got the flight and shared it with my grandma, I got the peach mimosa, and my sister got the bad idea. All of them were great! Mine I feel lacked flavor of the but it was still good. Food was on another level I got the chilaquiles, not as spicy as I hoped but the flavor eggs were perfectly cooked! My mom got the Lox Salmon Benedict, she was highly impressed, she didn't send her eggs back and that speaks volume. My grandma got the Avocado Toast and I was jaw dropped when it hit the table. It was STUNNING! The fried onions on top were the best touch. My sister got the Sexy Toast... it was just that. Sexy and delicious! My littles got the Chicken Strips and the French toast sticks. Hash Kitchen is a new addition to the Gilbert- Cooley Ranch area. They are known for their over the top Brunch with one-of-a-kind cocktail options and cuisine. My husband and I visited on a Monday afternoon and were happy to be seated without a wait. This location is quite small so be prepared to wait on the weekends- it can get quite crowded. Hillary was our server- she was sweet and attentive! Was surprised to see a DJ present even on a weekday. The music is loud and can get a bit annoying if you are trying to have a conversation but at least good songs were playing. We ordered a few drinks- the Brunchata Martini and the Salted Caramel are VERY sweet! They could qualify as a dessert themselves so be warned! The Mimosa flight was fun- strawberry and blueberry flavors were our favorite. We also tried the Billionaire's Bacon- the yuzu glaze is delicious and certainly makes the dish. The meat is a thick cut- it does take some chewing. I typically prefer crispy bacon- so I was not the biggest fan but it was still good and certainly unique! Hubby got the carnitas hash- it was good but a bit greasy, especially with the fried onions- there are quite a handful on top! The pork has a good flavor but it is strong, it's a lot for a "breakfast!" We took home more than half of it. I tried the famous ricotta scrambler and added mushroom and spinach. It was ok! Nothing too special... kind of something I feel like I make at home. Would not reorder but it was easy to eat without overpowering flavors (opposite of my husband's). I do wish we would've tried their pancakes or waffles! May have to return just for this. Overall, I think this is a great place to try for the experience but not sure I'd consider this a "go-to" spot for breakfast/lunch personally.
