If you are old and kind of curmudgeonly, I definitely recommend going early in the morning during the week. The music was at a reasonable volume and we were seated right away, so we were able to take in all the Instagrammable décor without having to stand around beforehand. The food was quite good as well. I got the Americano Scrambler and the carmelized onions were great and gave it a good twist on a traditional scramble. My partner got a latte and the Birria Bao Buns. They said that the beef was tender, but that it didn't quite have the Birria flavor punch that they were hoping for. Our waitress was great and friendly, and our food came to us quickly after ordering. Omg the food is soooooo good! I don't really like French toast but wow when this came out it was like candy! The Texas toast is nice and thick so it's not soggy and has a gross texture. Also got the Yorkshire and that was delicious as well. There were two drinks on the menu that we asked they made it in to one! We asked for an espresso martini with the dove ice cream chocolate bar in my drink! My second drink literally came in a bag! Loves it! The server was extremely nice and knowledgeable. We checked out Hash Kitchen this weekend for the first time. The wait really wasn't that bad considering the line. It was 30 minutes so we knocked out a couple errands while we waited. First impression was the music, it's really loud. We didn't mind and ended up getting seated in the back where it was quieter, but if you don't like loud music, you might want to steer away from here. Second impression was the food. Everything we ordered was amazing. The Bloody Mary cart where you can build your own Bloody Mary cocktail was super fun and the cocktail itself was delicious. Also, there is a live DJ providing beats during your visit. It is really loud. You can still talk amongst your table but it does require louder voices. I've had a few excellent meals here. The make your own bloody is a hit with the brunch crowd. The toppings bar from the first time I went to my most recent has gone downhill. The ingredients seemed old and not that good as of recent. They have skewers where you load yourself. There is small little tongs but no gloves. I liked it better when they brought the cart to your table and assisted with putting together the skewers. Hash Kitchen took over the old Corner Bakery location in Draper. It's a convenient location with a bunch of shops and decent parking. When we arrived around 1pm on a Saturday, the wait for two people was 45 minutes. My friend and I didn't mind waiting, it went by pretty fast. Once we were seated, we were asked by 3 people if we were ready to order. Not sure if there was a miscommunication on who was taking our order or if they're just really on top of things. I ordered the Short Stack drink and it was pretty sour. I finished it, but I wasn't expecting how sour and tart it was even though it was a limeade. I was hoping that the blueberry and blackberry puree would cut it, but it didn't. I got the Hash Grand Slam and Biscuits and Gravy (the biscuits and gravy are not on the menu, but they have it). My friend ordered the Britain's Got Talent. For the Hash Grand Slam, the bacon and hash potatoes were delicious. I was a little disappointed in my egg. I ordered sunny side up, but it was a very overcooked overeasy egg. Not enough for me to complain and have them take it back though. It's never that deep. The biscuits and gravy was actually really flavorful and reheated well. I ended up taking a majority of it home. Hash Kitchen is a great place to try, but I don't think I would come here frequently. The menu is a decent sized menu, not to small, not to large, there should be something for everyone. The one thing I wish they did was the Waitlist or take some kind of reservation. We could actually chat across the table. Service was also nice. We were missing our server a couple times, and she did apologize for being busy. We told our waitress about my egg and nut allergies multiple times and asked her to confirm if the toast was safe for me to have. Instead of admitting they had no ingredient label and letting me decide whether to risk eating it or not, she just served it anyway without telling us that she had no clue what was in it. 15 minutes later, I started going into anaphylactic shock. When we called trying to confirm the ingredients, the manager was rude, dismissive, told me to stop talking to her and just go to the ER, and refused to give ingredient info - even though other locations confirmed they had the allergy menus all along and that the bread DOES in fact contain egg. Knowingly putting my life at risk is gross negligence with real legal consequences. Diners deserve the right to know what's in their food before their lives are put at risk. read more

I asked our server multiple times for the utensils, but she never brought them. I ended up asking a buser for the utensils since we were starting to eat. This location wasn't too busy to justify having the food be cold, how is our food cold?? The pancakes taste awful...how hard is it to make decent pancakes?
