Porterhouse Pork
Jim H.

I'd give this more stars if I could. What a great experience. We sat on the patio which was so beautifully scenic on 3 sides and had a window into the kitchen as the fourth (which was so cool!). The server was fantastic as well as the food runners. All incredibly nice, accommodating and speedy. It was my mom's birthday and we got free champagne as well as free macarons for dessert, which were both unexpected but appreciated and above and beyond. The food was out of this world! Not one bad bite in the bunch and we had a lot. The porterhouse pork and carrots really stood out as stars tonight for dinner. Dessert was hands down the baked Alaska which was incredible! I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. Order family style so you get to try more, it's worth it!

If I can give more that 5 Stars, I most definitely would, for Harvest Table at St. Helena! My husband and I were more than pleasantly surprised! Our dinner was impeccable! I am just somewhat upset for forgetting to photograph our appetizers and entrees! But, I did remember to take a photo of our dessert. :) We started our dinner with two different salads. A Wedge Salad and a Ceasar Salad. Both amazing! For my entrée, I opted for the Halibut! It was so fresh, flavorful and a generous portion. I did enjoy every bite, for sure. My husband had the Giant Pork Chop and according to him, it was the best one he has had! Each bite of our dinners were undeniably flavorful and we were full! For dessert, we shared the "Ginger Carrot Cake." Made of several thin layers with cream in each layer, it was served a la mode garnished with crumbles of cinnamon cookie. So far, Harvest Table is one of our most favorite St. Helena restaurants! We will definitely be back!

We got married and chose this restaurant for our private (just the two of us ) dinner. We were immediately greeted with champagne and THE BEST , most sincere service. The general manager Marcin was awesome. He was so engaging and made sure our dinner was extra special. Our server Alex was amazing as well. Thank you all so much. We will make it a tradition to dine here on our anniversary. Oh, the food was SO DELICIOUS. We didn't know a pork chop could taste so good.

Nancy loved the wine recommendations also.

Great experience!! The Veal chop was incredible. The strawberry shortcake built my Mari Flor with her original Baltimore recipe for the biscuit and whipped cream was THE BEST!! Thank you Alex for great service. We will be back.

Came with a reservation but probably was not needed as the restaurant was not fully packed. Service was very friendly and timely. We had various small plates which were all delicious. They have a good sized menu. 1. Salad - Fresh garden salad hit the spot for the green craving 2. Shashito peppers - Spicier than I thought they would be and had to take half home 3. Meatballs - Good sized meat balls with very tasty sauce 4. Oysters - Good variety, clean tasting Overall a good place to come for dinner if you are in the area.

Located inside of the Harvest Inn hotel, stopped in for a quick bite and drink once we checked in. By far, they have one of the most amazing happy hour specials. M-F 3-6pm great price drinks and food. Homemade chips were great but the Korean BBQ tenders were hands down the best item on the menu. I would have been happy eating those subsequent evenings. Fabian made an incredible Manhattan which was again at unbeatable price. We didn't eat there for any full on meals and only dined for HH at the bar but overall wonderful!

We were looking for a place in Napa along the trail close to our first wine tasting and stumbled across this place. It sits inside a quaint hotel surrounded by trees and a stunning landscape. We chose to sit outside to enjoy that and the wonderful weather. Everything on the table was very simple - nothing fancy. Looking at the menu though you realize just how fancy it is. All fairly simple breakfast items for quite expensive prices. The food was good but definitely not over the top. I got the breakfast sandwich and it was very simple but the added citrusy greens livened it up a bit. The bacon was a weird texture but tasted fine. The potato's were good but a little soggy which was a bummer. Service was fine but a little slow considering that they weren't busy. A good experience with good food and gorgeous atmosphere. If there was an option for 3.5 stars I would give it but the overall experience leads it to a 4. Would go back for the grounds and a snack for sure.

Shared a dinner for two last night. The salad was good. The bread was amazing. The tomahawk steak was huge! Also enjoyed the dessert and the broccolini. Our waiter was good and attentive. The restaurant is quite nice, as it's in a compound that looks like an English village. Overall, a great experience. Will go back.

You can't go wrong with dining indoor or outdoor! Both options provide a beautiful ambiance. Food was absolutely delicious! Jack, our server was amazing! He was very friendly, knowledgeable (you could practically taste the food as he describes it) and gave us some great recommendations--- they were out of a dessert item as he provided us with what was comparable. Evan too was super friendly and went above and beyond by finding out the brand and name of they crackers they were previously serving at their wine tasting. 10/10!!!

Harvest Table in St Helena was fabulous!! The choices of the warm beet and pear salad and the butter leaf herb salad were both very good. Next course the Trout or the Duck Shepherds pie were delicious! The trout melted in my mouth. The sticky toffee pudding was a slice of chocolate cake accompanied with a scoop of vanilla ice cream covered in a mouthwatering toffee sauce. We paired the meal with the Quilt Cabernet and the dessert was perfectly paired with a Merryvale dessert wine! The ambiance has a lodge feel with a large fireplace inside the dining room. Teo was our server a native in Napa Valley who was exceptional and had a wonderful sense of humor!! The Harvest Table sets a very high bar!!! Very happy!!!

While working in St. Helena, I could never find an opening in a reservation, so here was a great opportunity now that all of us are retired. Our friends live in Clear Lake while we live in Vallejo, so this is a central place to meet. It was the best decision I made because every year for the past several anniversaries, we've gone to Cache Creek to C2. Their food and service is excellent because my husband enjoys poker, but I thought a change of scenery would be nice. And it was! Firstly, it was very kind of the staff to present us with a greeting card signed by everyone -- how sweet and thoughtful! We will cherish that! Secondly, we were very impressed with how the food/wine was locally sourced. It was incredible to hear the story about Custom, the Bull, and taste the difference between the Highland beef compared to Angus. Our waitress was "Erica S." She was engaging, personable, and very informative. My husband and I would definitely like to return to return to experience the dinner menu! We and our guests had the following dishes: Artichoke appetizer Arbororio Biscuits & Gravy Two Cheeseburgers Three Bloody Mary's Farmstead Margarita When they found out it was our anniversary celebration, the house sent over four glasses of complimentary champagne and a dish of dessert -- again, very sweet and kind of them I now understand why so many crowds flock to this restaurant! It's well worth the wait! If you have not experienced a meal there, you must definitely go now!

From the beginning, there seemed to be constant miscommunication between staff. We specifically booked an outdoor reservation and were seated inside instead. While mistakes happen, it set the tone for the rest of the evening. The bigger issue involved the wine and corkage fee. We purchased a bottle directly from the market associated with the restaurant and were told by the employee there that the corkage fee would be waived if we bought their wine. When we sat down, our server Sara told us that was not true and that we would still have to pay the fee. I explained what we had been told, and when she asked if I wanted a manager involved, I said yes. Before the manager even arrived or clarified the situation, the server opened our bottle of wine. In the silence and confusion, I reasonably assumed the fee issue had been resolved. Then the manager came over and told us we would still be charged and implied that nobody at the market would have told us otherwise. The way it was handled made my husband and I feel like we were being accused of making the whole thing up, which was especially upsetting on Mother's Day. At that point, the bottle was already opened, so we were essentially stuck paying the fee regardless. Between being seated incorrectly, the poor communication between employees, and how dismissive the situation felt, the service completely overshadowed what should have been a special meal. The rest of the service we felt ignored and there was minimal effort to accommodate. Great food alone is not enough to justify returning when the hospitality experience feels this frustrating and unprofessional.

The dining room was nearly empty, making it feel as if we had the entire place to ourselves. Service was warm, friendly, and professional without being stufy. Ambiance matches the food. You are enmeshed in a peaceful sanctuary, enveloped by the lush greenery outside. Soft, tasteful music accompanies. The food is very good, at times superb, with attractive, precise platings. Appetizers and shareables shine. Free Bread Course (5/5) - outrageously tasty. Some of the best focaccia I've had, with their absurdly good estate olive oil to dip in. Difficult to not eat too much of this. Meadowood Farms Spring Green Salad (5/5) - $22 - Ridiculously fresh vegetables picked from Meadowood's own garden. The top-level freshness reminded me of vegetables at Single Thread. Globe Artichoke Confit (5/5) - $26 - Perhaps my favorite dish of the evening, oozing umami flavor, with crispy trumpet mushrooms and artichoke hearts swimming in a bed of delectable tomato concasse. The accompanying estate olive oil is some of the best I've had. Liberty Farms Duck Leg Confit (4.5/5) - $42 - Tough for me to ever pass up duck confit, and this version did not disappoint. The accompanying blackberry beet reduction was perfect. Arroz Caldo (3.5/5) - $19 - The only slight disappointment of the night. The shredded chicken was moist, but the ginger favorite was overwhelmed by the overabundance of salt. Chocolate Pot de Creme (4/5) - $16 - Pretty good, with rich, deep chocolate notes, but we were probably too full at this point to fully appreciate. They have a nice coffee program here as well, as we enjoyed an espresso and americano. All told, a very enjoyable dinner! We had reservations for 11AM, by the time it was 11:30AM, about 85% of the restaurant was filled. By noon? All the tables were taken! Come early, get seated, relax. Service: We had the privilege of having Dwight be our server this afternoon. He was an absolute gem who loves his job, and loves what he does. He explained to us the specials, and some of the dishes he liked; he was a big help! We settled on a few things: the chicken wings (a MUST-HAVE; they are smoked first --- then fried; then tossed in a bit of a sweet seasoning --- it hits all the taste buds!). We also got the sweet potatoes --- good, nothing to write mom about. In addition, I had to get the famous Mongolian Porkchops. Dwight suggested to get it medium (I was a bit apprehensive --- it is pork), but always "trust the chef". So I did. My meal was EXCELLENT. The porkchop was perfectly grilled with some charred bits, and the meat was tender and juicy. Thank you Dwight for your suggestion! All-in-all, Mustards Grill is a MUST if you're ever staying in the Napa Valley. They received a Michelin Star in 2025, and if you try their food, you can clearly see why. After your finished with your meal, step outside and make a right --- and take some photos next to the vineyard. You are in Napa after all!

We were able to book on OpenTable just a few days before, which made making the reservation easy. Upon entering, the restaurant was full and had a classic bistro vibe. Everyone was dressed nicely but not too fancy. You definitely want to wear a nice shirt and dress up a bit if you are coming here for dinner. We were seated at a round table, which provided plenty of space to talk and enjoy our meal. As a starter, we ordered the onion rings. They were fantastic! Perfectly seasoned, and the homemade ketchup was delightful. The portion was large, but we had no problem finishing them because they were excellent. I had the veggie tostada. It had a good spicy kick that I really enjoyed. I am not sure if it was the salsa or the California chilies (red jalapeños) that gave it that heat. My sister had the famous pork chop and said it was the best she had ever had. My mom had the lamb, and she said it was divine. She also got some mashed potatoes to share, and the garlic flavor and texture were both delicious. We ordered two desserts and coffee to finish the meal. The lemon tart was fantastic! I have not had meringue this good since I was in French culinary school. I would come here for this tart alone. The coffee was a delicious close to the meal along with the dessert. We will most definitely be back to bring my husband and enjoy more family meals together. Thank you to our server and the hostess for being so accommodating and for providing us with excellent service.

My favorites: - Cold Gazpacho Soup with Rice Foam: This amuse-bouche was simply amusing! The rice foam really provided a nice lingering finish. - Steak Tartare with Garbanzo Bean Tapenade: By far my favorite dish! The texture of the waygu tartare was wonderful. It reminded me of firm fresh tuna for some reason. Combined with the salted soft toasted bread. I could of eaten it as my main. -Fogile de fava: This was a close second for me. The fogile was cooked to al dente perfection. And EVERYTHING tastes better with black truffle butter! - Ribeye: Perfect medium rare! The sugar snap peas were garden fresh and provide nice texture and sweet balance. -Drinks: I had the Pinot and my girl had the Chardonnay. Both were excellent! The sommelier took great care in choosing his wines by the glass because each paired nicely with corresponding dishes on the menu. Well done! Service was impeccable. The greeter was friendly and seated us right away. Our waiter was good with suggestions and descriptions of food/beverages. Each dish was presented with corresponding descriptions.
