Avoid Heartz Pest Control at All Costs The owner, Tom, is rude, dishonest, and unprofessional. I paid $156.96 for a full service that included a 30-day warranty. When I called back because I was still seeing activity, he told me they would "only honor the warranty" by spraying just the specific problem area -- nothing more. On top of that, he tried to pressure me into a month-to-month plan, making it clear that unless I paid more, his workers would only come out for partial services instead of doing the job I had already paid for and that was still under warranty. This is a scam tactic -- plain and simple. Instead of honoring their guarantee, they look for ways to nickel-and-dime customers while giving a nasty attitude in the process. I will never do business with this company again, and I strongly warn others to stay away from Heartz Pest Control. read more

I called to set up an appointment and let the scheduler know that I needed spider relief. The technician arrived and knew nothing about the spiders and would not take care of them. He treated and charged $102.84 for a service call. There is wet orange residue on my white baseboards, spiderwebs everywhere and a promise that someone would be back next week sometime to do what should have been done today. Loved having Hartz's help! We moved into our first home here in Houston from the Nevada desert, so we were not prepared for the bugs. We had roaches in the kitchen and spiders in the rooms, and Hartz was able to come to our house same day and look at the problem and spray the house, along with scheduling to come every 2 months. I've used Hartz for a few years and have been happy with them. They are willing to come back in between visits if you have any issues, though I have rarely needed them to since the quarterly treatment has been effective. I have had some issues in the past with lack of communication of a scheduled visit in advance, but this seems to have improved. If I wasn't home they just sprayed the outside and said they could return to spray inside if we needed it. read more

I am very satisfied with the service that I have received so far from Hartz Pest Control. Once I got in touch to schedule my first treatment everything went exactly as they told me that it would. I was not at home when they came to inspect and treat the house, but my wife and mother-in-law said that the technician was very professional and thorough. I signed up for quarterly treatments and was very pleased with the pricing structure. They warranty the work in between treatments, which is a nice touch. My only gripe was that I was charged at the single treatment price for the first treatment even though I had already given them my credit card and requested the quarterly option. In any case, I called them about it and they took care of it immediately in a way that I was pleased with. So with a solid dose of customer service, I am not docking them any stars in this review. I think that you will find that they seem to be a good, honest company doing high-quality services for a reasonable price. read more

I agree - highly recommended for prompt and friendly service. When they say they'll be there between 10-11, they'll be there at 10. The guy who's come to my house is very polite and extremely knowledgeable about bugs. They also guarantee their work for 30 days if you have ad-hoc service, and full guarantee if you have them spray quarterly (also cheaper). For quarterly pest control, they suddenly stopped notifying me of service appts. I kept asking to be notified but they wouldn't. I have a dog who is an escape artist so I keep my backyard gate locked until the day of pest control svc. I was a long time customer but I canceled qtrly pest control. I still had termite service but last 2 yrs, they stopped notifying me of termite service, including after I called & emailed the owner & their termite svc scheduler. After the 1st time I wasn't notified and pre-covid, termite svc scheduler said he would only tell me termite svc appt one day prior. I canceled termite service with them too. read more

He explained how the spray would work and that it was pet friendly. We had small ants in our kitchen and bedroom and within 24-48 hours, they were gone!
