We have a rodent issue, Chris promised someone would always be available to remove rodents from my house after treatment, I now have 2 dead (or multiple) mice under my sink (I had to stop looking when I came across 2) McGrath has been our pest control company for many years, and I called them out when we saw we had a problem. Now, the problem has escalated. Customer Service says their employee should never have promised they had one-day rodent removal. Plus, they sent someone out who does not know how to set a trap! I have paid them $500 plus for this treatment, plus many years of paying for quarterly service. Extremely poor customer service. read more

Business does not honor the 90 day warranty for services that they use as a very good selling point for you to select their company. I was within the 90 days when I noticed new ant beds in my lawn. The rep raised her voice with me and used a very nasty tone telling me I was on the 89th day. I noticed ant beds a few weeks ago but with alll the recent rain we had, this was my first day going out into my yard and really inspecting everything. They are scammers and I will use a different company going forward and I suggest you do the same. Not honoring the 90 day warranty and the treatment they used obviously didn't even work. read more

After using this service, and having pest issues continue, the owner of the company came out and re-applied their bug spray and gave us tips and tricks to follow so that we could eliminate the issue once and for all. So far so good, we have not had a problem since and the tips we followed allowed us to address issues we had not been aware of with the construction of our house. Great process from start to finish. I believe the guy who came out was named Jeff. Super nice guy and I was comfortable with him roaming the house by himself. Did the job quick and explained everything he was doing. Also gave me some suggestions on how to deal with some mice in the attic and crazy ants in the back yard. The one thing keeping me from the 5 star rating is the price. My mother in law is paying her exterminator 50% of what we were charged. I didn't shop around so I don't know if the price with McGrath is industry standard or not. read more

The quality of service is great. The technicians are friendly & super informative. I've been a customer for about 6 years. My only complaint is the woman who handle the phones. They used to be friendly and helpful but now the new lady sounds like a smoker and is condescending and rude. I asked for a call ahead from the technician and she's said "we don't do that". Hello I've been asking for this for years, there was no problem with it last quarter but now you do?! I had to explain to her that it's in case the technician is running ahead or behind schedule since I'm coming home on my lunch break from work my time is limited and I don't want to miss them. She said that them coming early or late shouldn't be a problem since my appointment time is for X. Geez! They came out to my house first time in May to take care of roaches problem. I had to call them back THREE more times since. I'm still seeing cockroaches in my house. Now they said my warranty is expired. The problem was never solved to begin with. Waste of time n money. Very dissatisfied....will not recommend them. read more

I'd rather pay a professional to do what they do best rather than take a chance on doing it myself, but I like to understand what I'm paying for. I have called them for help with termites and fleas, among many other things, and each time they explain everything to me. It's like having a family member as a pest control expert. McGrath has been doing our home pest control for a few years now, and we have been very pleased with their service, their follow-up and their commitment to get the job done. Just today, on Christmas Eve, Scott and George came out to our house to treat an area where there was evidence of drywood termites. They found the location of the nest, and even though it was very high up on an interior wall along the staircase (about 20 or 25 feet high) they were able to figure out how to get up to it and do the treatment. As a bonus, while they were up there, they patched up the holes they had drilled in the wall to do the treatment and even touched up the paint after patching it. Talk about service above and beyond - McGrath is it. We will continue to use them for spot treatments like this and also for regular treatments - we highly recommend them! read more

Worst service! Don't waste your money! I called for a house pest control service and they said it can cover most like all kinds of bugs and have 3 months warranty. The technician came early next Monday morning and finished his job within 5 minutes. I was busy with my baby so not pay much attention. But I offered him an iced drink and I noticed he did not spray the garage and the laundry room at all. When he asked me to sign the paper I told him we don't have much bugs interior the house, so we more concern about the exterior. He told me it should be control by his spray. However, not even a week, on Friday, we found a wasp hive under our eaves. So I called them for warranty. But they told me the warranty not covers anything outside only inside, the eaves of the house consider outside!! Plus, the wasp is not covered by the general pest control. If I want, they can come but another $90+ will be charged! So don't waste your money. read more

They have visited twice to help me at my new townhome. First, George took a look at what I thought were mice droppings up on my roof closet (storage for the hot water heater). I learned these droppings were from cockroachs instead. He sprayed the roof that day for me. He then returned yesterday with a tall ladder to clean out my gas fireplace vent (it vents off the 2nd floor) which was filled with sparrow nesting material. He also did the same for my neighbor's vent (located directly across from mine). He then screened both vents to prevent further infestation. I have been concerned about the chance of fire with these vents active with sparrow families. Also, the sparrows were dropping all over my front door area. Note, I called a number of pest companies and no one had a ladder to do this work EXCEPT McGrath and their trusty guy, George. I am grateful for their help and I found their pricing very reasonable. read more

I write very few reviews, but these guys warranted 5 minutes of my time. I had a bee problem. After reading reviews here on Yelp I called them - the girl that answered the phone was polite, courteous, and efficient. She scheduled an appointment, and Jacob showed up exactly when he was supposed to. He located and treated the problem, and followed up exactly when he said he was going to follow up. The problem was solved day one. They were professional, polite, and did not try to up-sell me or get me on some monthly maintenance plan. When I asked about another occasional problem, Jacob gave me some good pointers on what I could do on my own. All in all a very positive experience in a time when I find those few and far between. If I could give them zero stars, I would. The guy who came to the house only sprayed the base boards, however he told the company he sprayed in our attic and in the kitchen. We paid him in cash because I ran out of checks, and he told the company he was not paid. Thank God we kept the receipt because it proved we did pay him. The day he came it rained, so we had to reschedule the outside treatment. We were told he'd be here today at 8:30, and around 9 he said he was on his way. It's 3:30 and he has yet to arrive. In my initial search, they were the only company that wouldn't charge a higher fee for the initial visit, because they give the same, thorough service every time they come. They were great about coming out a couple extra times free of charge in the first few months to get our initial roach problem under control. Used them for several years but quit them because tech showed up when he wasn't supposed to and then showed up again without a reminder call from the office.
