Good food, great service, nice new location. The fresh garlic, fresh mushrooms and fresh basil really add a local, fresh flavor that many pizza places are missing. Be forewarned, it will take a while to get your order, but all the dough is tossed when ordered and well, quality takes time. This quality is well worth waiting for. read more

They didn't have anyone at the coffee bar so I'm assuming the hours are different? Service is okay. If you want to get your food and eat it there it's best you go to the counter to order. Waiting for a team member to take your order at the table will not get you far. I do feel they should implement a system either order at the counter or be seated. It's confusing for a lot of people. This place is very busy. They have a lot of take out orders as well as dine ins. Parking is limited near the restaurant but you can park in other spaces near by. They offer only table seating. No booths. You can pay with card too! As far as the food. We thought the second pizza was excellent. Lots of cheese and the toppings go under the cheese unless you ask for it differently. They have a ton of options. We did encounter a few issues: they could not find our order, but they did have a ton of orders that day. When they did, the pizza was burnt. I let the staff know and she said "there's nothing wrong with it" called another staff member and she said "I don't know what to do it doesn't look burnt". The manager overheard and immediately asked if we wanted it cooked "lighter". I told her if we could just have it like all the others being pulled out. She was super quick to push our order in front of the rest. Overall she was quick to resolve the issue and the pizza was amazing! There's just something about their cheese pull you need it cooked as they normally do not overcooked with a tough cheese layer! Prices are very good! It's hard to find a good pizza with lots of toppings and at the sizes they offer under $20! I am still giving this a 4 because their pizza is great and the manager really stepped up quickly!

We went on a Friday night around 7pm and actually seemed to be the rush by a bit. The place has two sections; a relatively large dining room and a bar area. Both are decent, your average bar and dining room decorated with northern Michigan ambiance (lots of green, wood panels, ducks). We started with some fried mushrooms which were a little salty and not as well seasoned as I would have liked, but very crunchy and with some ranch, pretty tasty. I had the perch at the recommendation of the waitress, which was delicious, fresh and crispy with a side of mashed potatoes with bacon butter- obviously that was very good. My wife had the French dip, which was also very good. The sandwich had lots of caramelized onions and cheese. Good stuff. The service is a touch slow- I think they only had two servers on the whole dining room, but they were fairly attentive and nothing took too long. I would definitely go back!
