This place is sooo good!! We are from out of state and tried Hart Pizza based on the positive Yelp reviews. We are so glad that we did! We ordered a large pizza (1/2 plain cheese and 1/2 spinach, fresh mushrooms, onions, sausage, and a goat cheese/mozzarella blend of cheese). It was absolutely delicious - the goat cheese was amazing and not overpowering at all. They use very fresh, tasty ingredients and the dough was fantastic. Not too thin, not too thick with excellent flavor. They wait to toss it until you order your pizza and everything tasted fresh and delicious! We also had a garden salad made with romaine & iceberg topped with peppers, onions & a sprinkling of cheese. It was served with ranch dressing that was sort of garlicky and really tasty. We will 100% be back the next time we are in the area!! Don't forget to try our combo ;) It was a winner!! read more

I'd come back we enjoyed our pizza they also have other items on the menu. She was busy at 7 o'clock on a Monday night always a good sign. The only bad thing had nothing to do with the restaurant someone decided to floss after they were done eating out on the deck never seen that in my life I'm glad they weren't by me,Words would have been spoken. read more

Great food, Hart Pizza! Yummy pizza with lots of options. Nice salad. Super duper breadstick and wings. Why 4 stars? Even though Lynn took great care of us, we were surprised that on the third of July, this northern Michigan restaurant next to Silver Lake Sand dunes was understaffed. Therefore, lots of waiting to order drinks, waiting for drinks, waiting to order food, waiting for food, waiting for check, waiting to sign check. No fault to Lynn, she was running around and very pleasant. Management, if you know you are short-staffed, let people know at the beginning. And when wait times continue, it's time for a free appetizer! read more

While visiting in the area, dined here two of three evenings based on local recommendation. First night, pizza. 12" thin crust for the two us. Very good. In house made dough with fresh ingredients served piping hot. Second visit started with buffalo chicken dip and fresh breadsticks also made from the in-house dough. Spicy, but not overly. Fettuccine chicken carbonara for me and chicken fettuccine alfredo for her. Both very good and more than filling. Highly recommended if you're in the area! read more

This place had great pizza and breadsticks that my family enjoyed. It was slammed on a Saturday evening and they kept apologizing for the wait. They have a good bar selection and several beers on tap for the wait. Service was good and prompt. We will make this an annual dining place when we go to Michigan. Small town, cute, clean pizza spot. The detail put into the cleanliness and the service was wonderful. This place used to be a hidden gem but after the last few times I've been here it's went downhill- fast! Service is simply putrid!!!! Sometimes bad service can be worth REALLY good food but thats most definitely NOT the case here. It's pretty expensive too! Mediocre food + bad service = waste of money! A solid choice for pizza in the Pentwater/Hart area. We drove down while vacationing in Pentwater...we're never too impressed by anything in Pentwater....Hart Pizza is a great choice. Nice small clean pizza place with seating for about 60. We got there at about 5 on a Friday and it was busy...was nice to see a Gluten free option as well. Good breadsticks and nice fresh ingredients on their pizza....with most importantly good sauce and good crust. Hard to find all things at one place these days...I would highly recommend. read more

This is easily the best pizza we've found in the area. The crust is thick enough to give the slices body but the dough is light and not too chewy. We ordered the garlic breadsticks. Personally, they could have used more garlic, but were fine. Not being a fan of iceberg lettuce, we asked for our salads to be romaine only. With food this exceptional, management should consider having fresh spinach or kale available for those prefer more nutrition. Our pizza was sausage, spinach, jalapeño, fresh mushrooms and a blend of mozzarella and goat cheese. It was fantastic. We sat at the bar and chatted with the staff who were friendly and prompt. Closing we enjoyed the strawberry shortcake. It did not disappoint. Lastly, for those who prefer red wine with Italian food, Hart Pizza actually has good choices; something most restraunts in the region lack. We will be back. read more

Omg! This is amazing pizza! Completely from scratch and delicious- the menu is very user friendly and all the pizzas are build your own! The prices are so affordable! Waitresses were friendly and the service was fast despite the place being packed! The restaurant and bathrooms were really clean. Tiny town, but food wasn't bad at all. We were staying in neighboring Pentwater and drove to hart for their pizza. We waited far too long, considering people around us were getting their food well before us and especially since my husband and I only order personal pizzas. The pizza was really good, I'd eat it again. I ordered a pop and it tasted like well water or maybe like it was flat, I don't know, but I don't recommend the soft drinks.
