This is our absolute go-to spot whenever we fly out of Midway! The staff is incredible and treats us like regulars--they even remember our order every single time. Jessica and Isabel always welcome us with warm, bright smiles and top-tier hospitality. On top of the amazing team, the food is easily the best in the airport. The Chicago Sour is fantastic, and the new fish tacos are absolutely delicious (I ordered mine without the mango salsa and loved them). Highly recommended!
This is in the Midway airport. Jessica was our server, she is fantastic. We ordered beers and they were delicious, cold, and needed since our flight was cancelled. Food: got the blackened burger cooked medium well. The burger arrived pipping temperature hot! It was delicious and full of flavor. Got the side salad, it was fresh and nice amount of veggies. And price for value, $20 for the burger is a great price for airport! And it was delicious! Come here if you have some time for a meal.
A great spot for grab a meal or a drink while waiting for your flight. Tons of memorabilia and tvs! Great good and service with a relaxed vibe. A bit pricey which is what is expected being in an airport terminal. I would drop on again when traveling through Chicago.

Jessica was our server. She was very friendly and attentive. Unusual for an airport restaurant. Ordered beer and burger. The draft beer was very good. The burger was far above average, especially for an airport. Actually, it's far above average in general. Served piping hot, cooked to order, and it was very tasty. The salad ingredients were very fresh and crisp.
Located in terminal A at Midway Airport in Chicago. They offer pub food in large sizes. We ordered the signature Holy Cow burger which was cooked to order, hot and juicy and topped with bacon, Harry Caray sauce plus the regular toppings like cheese, lettuce, tomato and onion. Very good and big enough for two to share. Served with your choice of sweet potato fries, chips or salad. Recommended. The place is clean, about 20 stools, TV monitors showing games.
Still thinking about how unexpectedly amazing this burger was at MDW. I ordered it medium rare and it came out perfectly cooked, truly pink in the center, juicy, and full of flavor. Not that gray "airport medium" you usually get, but an actual proper medium rare. The meat was tender, well seasoned, and cooked evenly all the way through, and the bun held up without overpowering the burger. What really took this experience over the top, though, was the staff. Every single person was so kind and kept checking in, making sure everything was perfect. It almost felt weird how good the service was for an airport spot. Between the food and the hospitality, this was easily one of the best airport dining experiences I've ever had and honestly better than a lot of non-airport restaurants.
I tried Harry Caray's while on a layover in the Midway airport. I chose this place based on reviews of the various options in the airport and this one had the best reviews. It was good as far as airport restaurants go. I ordered the Fish & Chips. I replaced the French fries and ordered sweet potato fries instead. The fish was your basic cod with a few packets of tartar. The sweet potato fries were a little mushy for my liking. I prefer fries a little more crispy. They don't have a special dipping sauce for the sweet potato fries, so the waitress gave me honey mustard which worked. The server was very attentive and the restaurant was in the middle of concourse A with very active surrounding, great for people watching.
Food in the airport isn't usually that great but I was pleasantly surprised to find Harry Caray's right outside of my gate. Since my flight was delayed for an hour, I had time to sit and enjoy dinner. I ordered the Holy Cow burger which was delicious. The fries were great as well, hot and crispy. The server was friendly and attentive. Sitting at the bar, I saw a lot of other dishes come out from the kitchen and they each looked delicious. Definitely recommend if you're in Midway.
Ambience is good as there's an enclosed bar adorned by tv screens everywhere giving that sports bar vibe. The bartender/servers are nice and helpful. The food is packed with sodium and prepackaged but that's what's expected given the environment. The challenge is the staff doesn't wash their hands before preparing a drink or serving food after touching germy towels to wipe down the bar, workstation, utensils, their hair or clothing. Additionally the drink well is highly corroded and should be repaired or replaced. Based on that alone, I can only imagine the ice machine being full of mold and dirty water filters. I travel through this airport at least twice biweekly when traveling for business. This used to be my favorite spot. As of last week, I gave up on things changing. The employees have to see this mess and realize this is unhealthy for the patrons or anyone. I guess they don't believe in the "if you see something, say something" mentality. Or worst, management doesn't care. In either case it's a good time for health inspectors to surprise them with a good old visit! Until this is corrected and the area sanitized, steer clear.

I have stopped at Harry Caray's a number of times whenever I am flying out of Midway. This time I decided to try the Navy Pear and it was delish. For an airport bar, it's one of my faves. The staff are always nice, it's a great spot to people watch and have a drink before a flight, and there's charging ports the whole length so you can be fully charged when you get on the plane. Love sitting there watching the tv's, there's always a game on.
The food was awful. But my expectations were low. But when someone says grilled cheese sandwich with Gruyère and smoked Gouda - you think rich melty goodness. NOPE. Try dried tiny slices of cheese on hard 9 grain toast filled with tomatoes- it was more of a tomato sandwich. See pic. And service gets 1 star. The food gets zero.
I was wandering through the airport and found this quiet little spot. The waiter was helpful and efficient with his service. I had a nice grilled cheese sandwich and sweet potato fries. I really loved the fries (of course i did haha). It's worth a stop if your in the airport and need a quick bite to eat and drinks!!
Harry Caray's of Chicago is the Amedeo's of Raleigh, North Carolina (where I'm from). We came here TWICE during a business trip in and out of Chicago because we liked it so much. I adore the aspect of Chicago Sports History at HC's. The surroundings led us to some fun conversations! When I think of whats at the heart of Chicago, I envision Harry Caray's. Thanks, Chitown! Wow - We didn't expect the food to be this good at an airport. We started with a couple of local draft beers and then the toasted ravioli (the sausage ones were very good and perhaps a little better than the cheese) and the blue cheese potato chips. There are so many ways this dish could go wrong and it's all the ways this plate excelled. It was so fresh. The chips tasted as if they were just made and the ingredients were very very good. I'm not kidding if I'd say you'd never know this food was from the airport. We ordered the blackened burger before we realized how much food was included in the Apps. It was also very good. It was juicy and flavorful. Sorry - I guess we were hungry because I forgot to take a pic. If you're in Midway needing food - I'd highly recommend it. read more

Can't complain. Solid chicken tenders with honey mustard sauce and sweet potato fries. Good airport food is hard to come by, but it was solid bar food. Service was lackluster, but I don't expect much at the airport. read more

For some airport food it's doable. Had the chicken tenders and fries $15 after tax I'm pretty sure. Food came out hot and a fresh but it was all frozen stuff obviously, and the chicken isn't "real" pull apart stuff. Just the fake chicken meal stuff. Atleast it wasn't $25 It did the job though read more
Excellent service at the opening for breakfast. I believe we were first customers of the day. The coffee was tasty and the refills were plentiful. The food was a notch above standard airport fare. Prices were decent for airport dining. Was an excellent fill up prior to departure for home. Would absolutely repeat. read more

For an airport restaurant this was pretty good! All the other places had bad reviews and this was the only one that had good ones and it did not disappoint! I got the Holy Cow burger with sweet potato fries and it was to die for. My burger came out medium rare just how I asked which was major points. They have a lot of bar seating and only a few tables but still pretty big place. The service was fast and friendly. Would definitely recommend! read more

This place has a long bar counter with lots of tvs. Also has maybe 10 small tables and got lucky to get one. Bloody Mary Salted rim, Harry's signature Bloody Mary Mix. Very spicy and very spirit forward. Holy Cow! Burger Candied applewood smoked bacon, smoked gouda, lettuce, Harry's steak sauce, brioche bun. This burger the best I have had recently. The candied thick bacon made this burger, sounds strange but it works. High quality beef. Service was great. I had to pinch myself that I was eating great food at an airport. Airport food in my opinion ranges from ok to terrible. read more

This is a decent spot to grab a drink before (or after a flight), but beware the prices. Even the beers they have on draft are $9. That doesn't bode well for any other beverages. I didn't eat so can't comment on the food. read more
Hoooooollllllllly cowwwww. Wow this place knocked it out of the park. Living in Louisville means we spend a lot of time connecting to other cities in Chicago. I've had many beers here, but never had their food. Until this night. I started with an IPA dedicated to Harry. It was nothing special. I took some time to scan Yelp reviews before making a decision on food. And Yelpers --- thank you. I got the Holy Cow burger, and following your advice, asked for no lettuce and ordered chips instead of fries. Y'all are the real MVPs. That was the best airport burger I've ever had! The patty was thick, the sauce was so good I asked for extra, and the bartender's recommendation to add avocado was worth the $2! The chips were a better deal as well than just getting a handful of fries. After I ate, I got a second beer: Son of a Juice. That's a hazy IPA, and it was a nice way to wash down this meal that was way better than I've expected for $20 at an airport. The service was great. The ambiance was...I mean it's an airport, it was fine. My fellow flyers were good company and there were TV's. If you've got more than an hour to waste in Midway, I highly recommend this place. read more
Nice place in Midway airport for food and cocktails. Understanding how busy the restaurants can be, these bartenders were very punctual and attentive (Richard (I think) and Tammy). A little pricey, but it's the airport, so you get it. Had the Mr. Tea with Gentleman Jack (tasty!), and the Roasted Turkey sandwich. They covered all the sporting events, and everyone around the area were respectful of everyone around them. read more
Bartender was so rude and discriminatory. My husband wanted to sit at the bar and watch the basketball game. Ordered a soda and the guy said, "sorry, this bar is only for people who order food and an alcoholic drink." What?!? What if you're in AA and you can't sit there because you only want a soda? Unbelievable. After a long day and about to travel home, this bartender with glasses and a beard on a Sunday night with an half empty bar won't let you sit and drink a non alcoholic beverage? He's more worried about his low check. Sadly, both of us used to be in the service industry and would have taken care of him. Complete jerk read more
Beer was excellent. Bartender was spot on with the description and it was perfect. It's the Chicago local beer, Moody Tongue, Hazy. Not too hoppy, just right. They also had a great Gouda grilled cheese...had other cheeses with it, arugula, and tomato. Good fries. My husband got a beer as well, it was the Moody Tongue IPA. He enjoyed it also. I hope I'm never at midway airport again, but when in Chicago I'd look for these beers again, as well as this restaurant if they have one outside the airport. read more

Good place for singles or doubles. Food was just ok. Average. I should have known better but ordered the fish and chips anyway. The kale salad was fresh and plentiful! Buffalo chicken was ok. Service: Jasmine was very nice and tried to accommodate our party of three. She did a great job of checking in with us. Too many people "parked" at tables so the wait is long. Timing is everything here. Prices are good compared to where we live in California. This place is a bargain. read more
I had a super quick and easy experience here on a layover from stl to cincy. I had around an hour and a half to eat and this was the perfect fit. I sat at the bar and was promptly waited on by the bartender. I ordered a Diet Coke and took a peek at the menu, which had a lot of different options. I ended up getting the chicken chopped salad which was mixed greens, avocado, green onions, I opted out of the tomatoes, pancetta, Gorgonzola, and I switched my dressing from the sweet herb vinaigrette to a balsamic type. This salad was wild fresh. The avocado was probably one of the best I've ever had, the dressing was super light and flavorful, and the pancetta really added a nice touch. I enjoyed my meal and got some work done. I wasn't rushed and it was a nice comfortable spot to get some things done. I also noticed that they had a pretty solid drink menu, so would definitely indulge next time when not working. read more
