    Holy Cow burger
    Caryn M.

Food in the airport isn't usually that great but I was pleasantly surprised to find Harry Caray's right outside of my gate. Since my flight was delayed for an hour, I had time to sit and enjoy dinner. I ordered the Holy Cow burger which was delicious. The fries were great as well, hot and crispy. The server was friendly and attentive. Sitting at the bar, I saw a lot of other dishes come out from the kitchen and they each looked delicious. Definitely recommend if you're in Midway.

I tried Harry Caray's while on a layover in the Midway airport. I chose this place based on reviews of the various options in the airport and this one had the best reviews. It was good as far as airport restaurants go. I ordered the Fish & Chips. I replaced the French fries and ordered sweet potato fries instead. The fish was your basic cod with a few packets of tartar. The sweet potato fries were a little mushy for my liking. I prefer fries a little more crispy. They don't have a special dipping sauce for the sweet potato fries, so the waitress gave me honey mustard which worked. The server was very attentive and the restaurant was in the middle of concourse A with very active surrounding, great for people watching.

8oz. burger in front, turkey burger with sweet potato fries in the back - A plate containing a burger with a bun, lettuce, cheese, and a beef patty is placed on a dark table, accompanied by a generous serving of French fries. In the background, there is a tall glass of soda with lemon slices and ice, and a separate plate with sweet potato fries and a small sandwich. The setting appears to be a casual dining environment, possibly a restaurant or diner.

Yelpers are somewhat critical of most of the restaurant options at Midway. I picked Harry Caray's for a sit-down dinner because it was one of the best rated, and we did enjoy dinner here. It's simple, straightforward pub style food with nice beer offerings. Our server was very low-key but helpful. My hamburger, ordered medium, came out medium-well, but was otherwise delicious, as were both the fries and the sweet potato fries I stole from someone else at my table. It was nothing fancy, but it was very satisfying.

    Navy Pear

I have stopped at Harry Caray's a number of times whenever I am flying out of Midway. This time I decided to try the Navy Pear and it was delish. For an airport bar, it's one of my faves. The staff are always nice, it's a great spot to people watch and have a drink before a flight, and there's charging ports the whole length so you can be fully charged when you get on the plane. Love sitting there watching the tv's, there's always a game on.

I was wandering through the airport and found this quiet little spot. The waiter was helpful and efficient with his service. I had a nice grilled cheese sandwich and sweet potato fries. I really loved the fries (of course i did haha). It's worth a stop if your in the airport and need a quick bite to eat and drinks!!

    Chicken tenders and honey mustard

Can't complain. Solid chicken tenders with honey mustard sauce and sweet potato fries. Good airport food is hard to come by, but it was solid bar food. Service was lackluster, but I don't expect much at the airport.

A restaurant kiosk at an airport terminal has a sign indicating the opening day countdown for Harry Caray's. The kiosk is surrounded by seating with travelers dining and waiting. The area has modern architectural elements, including a metal roof and lighting fixtures, with other airport signage visible in the background.

For some airport food it's doable. Had the chicken tenders and fries $15 after tax I'm pretty sure. Food came out hot and a fresh but it was all frozen stuff obviously, and the chicken isn't "real" pull apart stuff. Just the fake chicken meal stuff. Atleast it wasn't $25 It did the job though

Breakfast - The image shows an airport terminal dining area with several black tables and brown chairs arranged on a white tiled floor with small black and brown accents. In the background, there is a vending machine with bottled drinks and a food counter with various supplies. The area appears to be unoccupied at the moment, with a view of the airport concourse and passengers in the distance.

Excellent service at the opening for breakfast. I believe we were first customers of the day. The coffee was tasty and the refills were plentiful. The food was a notch above standard airport fare. Prices were decent for airport dining. Was an excellent fill up prior to departure for home. Would absolutely repeat.

Holy Cow Burger with sweet potato fries
    Sam S.

For an airport restaurant this was pretty good! All the other places had bad reviews and this was the only one that had good ones and it did not disappoint! I got the Holy Cow burger with sweet potato fries and it was to die for. My burger came out medium rare just how I asked which was major points. They have a lot of bar seating and only a few tables but still pretty big place. The service was fast and friendly. Would definitely recommend!

    Here's to Harry IPA

Hoooooollllllllly cowwwww. Wow this place knocked it out of the park. Living in Louisville means we spend a lot of time connecting to other cities in Chicago. I've had many beers here, but never had their food. Until this night. I started with an IPA dedicated to Harry. It was nothing special. I took some time to scan Yelp reviews before making a decision on food. And Yelpers --- thank you. I got the Holy Cow burger, and following your advice, asked for no lettuce and ordered chips instead of fries. Y'all are the real MVPs. That was the best airport burger I've ever had! The patty was thick, the sauce was so good I asked for extra, and the bartender's recommendation to add avocado was worth the $2! The chips were a better deal as well than just getting a handful of fries. After I ate, I got a second beer: Son of a Juice. That's a hazy IPA, and it was a nice way to wash down this meal that was way better than I've expected for $20 at an airport. The service was great. The ambiance was...I mean it's an airport, it was fine. My fellow flyers were good company and there were TV's. If you've got more than an hour to waste in Midway, I highly recommend this place.

Bloody Mary - A Bloody Mary cocktail is served in a tall glass with a salted rim. The drink contains tomato juice and is garnished with vegetables, including pickles and possibly olives. The glass is placed on a wooden table, with condiments like ketchup and mustard visible in the background. A straw is inserted into the drink, and part of a person's arm is visible in the background.

This place has a long bar counter with lots of tvs. Also has maybe 10 small tables and got lucky to get one. Bloody Mary Salted rim, Harry's signature Bloody Mary Mix. Very spicy and very spirit forward. Holy Cow! Burger Candied applewood smoked bacon, smoked gouda, lettuce, Harry's steak sauce, brioche bun. This burger the best I have had recently. The candied thick bacon made this burger, sounds strange but it works. High quality beef. Service was great. I had to pinch myself that I was eating great food at an airport. Airport food in my opinion ranges from ok to terrible.

A slice of pizza with tomato, cheese, and greens on toasted bread is shown, accompanied by a side of fries with ketchup. The pizza appears to be a vegetarian style with fresh vegetables, and the fries are placed on a paper-lined tray. The setting suggests a casual dining environment, possibly at a restaurant or cafe.
    Lisa G.

The food was awful. But my expectations were low. But when someone says grilled cheese sandwich with Gruyère and smoked Gouda - you think rich melty goodness. NOPE. Try dried tiny slices of cheese on hard 9 grain toast filled with tomatoes- it was more of a tomato sandwich. See pic. And service gets 1 star. The food gets zero.

    Rude discriminatory bartender.
    Ping P.

Bartender was so rude and discriminatory. My husband wanted to sit at the bar and watch the basketball game. Ordered a soda and the guy said, "sorry, this bar is only for people who order food and an alcoholic drink." What?!? What if you're in AA and you can't sit there because you only want a soda? Unbelievable. After a long day and about to travel home, this bartender with glasses and a beard on a Sunday night with an half empty bar won't let you sit and drink a non alcoholic beverage? He's more worried about his low check. Sadly, both of us used to be in the service industry and would have taken care of him. Complete jerk

    $9 beer.

I was surprised to see that the website does allow reservations for large groups, so we booked through Resy a few days before coming. When we arrived at Fulton Market, it took a few tries but we happily found street parking. It was a little bit overwhelming when we first walked in. It feels "bigger" than the original food hall in Lisboa or the one in Boston - not necessarily in square footage, but primarily in energy. It was very busy and especially loud, and there was a DJ booth in the corner that felt closer to a club than a restaurant. I'm guessing part of this might be because it was a Friday night, but curious if it's been busier than normal since the announcement of the market's impending closure. The "reservation" system felt nominal at best, as there weren't any tables set up when we got there - by the time I was able to flag down staff for the food hall, it would have taken quite a while for them to find seats and move them together. In the end we were able to find a corner that worked out pretty well. Similar to the Boston location, you can order online. It didn't feel prominently advertised, as the food stalls themselves all had long lines and were pretty understaffed. In addition, after ordering online, there was no notification that the order was ready for pick-up (for several of the stalls). And while TOM is in a pretty central part of Chicago, the food felt spectacularly expensive for what you were getting. Pretty much everything was over $20 (before tax + tip) for an okay amount of food. On top of that, in our large 15+ person group, the vast majority of us felt that the food was definitively below average quality. Mine in particular was Bill Kim Ramen Bowl's tofu rice bowl. It was a depressing mix of unseasoned tofu cubes, dry arugula, kimchi, plain white rice with no sauce, a handful of pickled veggies, and a half-avocado that wasn't even sliced. It tasted about how it looks. None of that surprises me, but it felt like a far cry from the Lisboa concept, where I was a repeat customer for the high-quality food by distinguished chefs at extremely affordable prices. I'm glad I went, but won't be especially sad to see it go.

Have any of you amazing, wonderful, and lovely humans seen my review for Sterling Food Hall…read more(formerly Revival). In said review, I docked them a star for a disproportionate number of spots having sandwiches by any other name. I even went into Excel and made a pie-chart (true to form as a man in finance!) With Washington Hall, I could create a pie chart, but I don't see a reason to. Their offerings are still growing, but even with what's available now, the selection is awesome. Just going from memory, there is Indian, pizza, wings, hot dogs, Latin-American, Greek, and a Stan's Donuts (and probably a few I missed). The hall, including the restrooms are clean, and there is ample seating, plus more upstairs. The vibe is open and airy. Not as pretty or unique as Sterling, but I'm not really complaining - as long as it's clean and not depressing, I don't care that much. I am looking forward to making my way through trying all the spots within, and giving the bar a go when it opens. Hopefully most of the food vendors will be open in the evening.
