I powered thru that because I was looking specifically for a few items and figured perhaps they got a delivery or something however, upon going into the depths of the store the smells got worse. This is the greatest grocery store in the Triad. Specifically Kim, Miranda & Valerie. They really do a wonderful job at taking care of me. Their hospitality is unsurpassed. Austin & Kennedy up front, Greg in produce. Allen stocking. Moses getting the carts and Will. This store is super clean and affordable. I love going here bc everyone is so friendly and accommodating. Kim is the Manager and she has always put up with my shenanigans asking about this price and that price. Miranda is the boss and she has done a marvelous job at hiring a new butcher Matthew in the back. I think this store deserves more recognition based upon how well they operate and function. During the plandemic they were always there allowing us to get our food and providing a service to the public of Greensboro. The produce is fresh and the steaks are great. Their prices can't be beat and the gas program discount is splendid. I never pay full price for gas bc of their gas reward program. If any of y'all actually read this that work here, please know you are appreciated and thought highly of and thank you for being such a great store. read more

I placed an online order to be picked up. the order listed the store and the time to be picked up. When I got there, they couldn't find my order and suggested I might have sent it to another store. When I insisted that I was at the right store, the employee offered to call around and see if it was at other stores, and took my phone # to call me and let me know. 2 days later and i've heard nothing. Very disappointing, since I can only get out to do grocery shopping once/week and counted on that order being ready. (In fairness, previously I had done the same thing and all went well. I usually go to this Harris Teeter and have never had a problem. However, last time I was in the store with my trans partner, my partner was called disgusting by a cashier named Barbara. I explained to customer service that I was uncomfortable and angry that those words were used for my partner because they were transgender. They said they would handle it. I am back about a week later and the cashier is working there, still making rude faces towards us. I have heard that this store in particular was really horrible towards their trans employees, seeing a couple of my trans friends worked there in the past. I am very disappointed that they allow somebody like Barbara, who is transphobic to customers (in front of other customers especially) is allowed to keep working here. read more

I have been shopping here for years. Staff are very friendly, professional and greet you with a smile. Assistance is offered at the self-checkout, and with taking groceries to your car. Questions are answered, and if you can't locate a product, they will assist you. Staff routinely collect shopping carts from parking lot, and return them to the store. Great shopping atmosphere. This Harris Teeter location is a nice place to shop. The produce section is always well-stocked and has some delicious strawberries and grapes. There is a big section with in-house lunch and dinner options as well as sushi and homemade bread. Harris Teeter offers good cuts of meat and what appears to be a large wine and beer area. The employees are always friendly and helpful, which is so rare to find these days. Though the prices can sometimes be higher than other stores, HT is a convenient stop for us and we will definitely be back. read more

On Oct 22 2020 Customers are walking around inside with no mask. I addressed this issue with employees and the management team. They replied, "oh okay." Then just acted like nothing was wrong. I did not feel safe. Sad how the team at Harris Teeter did not care and ignored the health violations. I will no longer shop at Harris Teeter any. read more

This location was actually my first experience with Harris Teeter since I am new to the area and it is right by my condo. Having said that, I have now visited 2 others and while this is not the best location, it is a good one. The staff here are very friendly, it has a great selection of food and household products, and also has a salad bar! That being said, it does have its flaws. For one, it is not always the best kept. I sometimes find the store to be somewhat dirty even when there aren't many customers around. For instance, the salad bar can be very messy and filthy. While this is not the fault of the Harris Teeter staff, they are still responsible for the upkeep, and that needs improving before I decide to utilize their salad bar. Also, I have had minor issues occur such as there being more than one self checkout kiosk out of order, and long wait times to have a CSR help me out. So in short, it's not the best location, but it's definitely not a bad place to shop! read more

3 stars because I love this location & the layout -- this one is My Harris Teeter. But 2 stars for experience & customer service. I have shopped there for 17yrs. I can not count how many times I have had the most unfavorable experiences with one particular woman Manager. ALWAYS Unfriendly & sometimes, especially this trip was rude & disrespectful. Acting perturbed, annoyed & patronizing. 9 times out of 10 I bag my own groceries leaving me feeling frustrated & unappreciated. I would encourage better customer service maybe lend some coaching to Management to help this store uphold the Harris Teeter Standard I believe Harris Teeter strives for. As in these times there is stiff competition & lots of choices. read more

I have been using this store for quite a few years and over the past couple years it has went way downhill. A few years back I would have given it 5 stars but now, they're lucky I'm given them three. Almost none of the employees seemed to be properly trained on customer service or store etiquette. It's like they are taught how to do a specific job ( run a cash register, stock a shelf) and that's all they know. We have been doing the Homeshop, where you pickup your groceries, for a little over a year now and I believe there has only been one time that it was correct. We would either be shorted product or given something extra. Our bill is never correct and the people that handle it seem to be really stressed or just could careless about being there. They are snappy and rude. It's not necessarily first come first serve either. Twice, I have had cars come in line after me and leave before me. How does that even make sense? The pharmacy used to be one of the best that I have used but about a year ago HT changed the way things were done and it's been screwed up since. Most of the pharmacist are nice but don't always seem to under stand the system. Overall, I understand things constantly change and are tried to be improved but for this store... I say take it back to the way it was! read more

This is THE worst Harris Teeter I've ever been in. Went there today and couldn't even find an employee on the floor to help me! No organic chicken breasts, no Pepperidge farm stuffing. Salmon and other fish looked old and dry! Been there other times where produce was awful and scarce. Went to another HT and found my items easily. read more

This is my favorite Harris Teeter location. It's small enough to get in and out quickly but it has typically larger Harris Teeter amenities like sushi and very nice, glass door refrigerated space. The staff is great and doesn't turn over a lot. The pharmacy is fantastic, no long lines here. The pharmacist, Brady R. is very kind and he always remembers me. read more

Complete dorks at the deli/bakery counter....don't ask for a custom cake order that's in their cake book....when I was told that they didn't have the "kit" in, they didn't bother telling me that I needed a week's notice to order the kit or even offer to go ahead and take my order that night...they just told me to call the next day and order it..they basically didn't want to deal with me. So I call the next day, and then am told I don't have enough advanced notice to order it. Poor customer service! read more
