Sandwich deli window

Determined that this is my week to find good sandwiches for lunch, this was day two of my search. I tried one of the major chains, JJ, yesterday it was what was expected, so I wanted to go off the path. I've never tried Publix subs before, but heard that they were good and it did not disappoint. The combo of chips and a drink gives you a dollar off which came about $10. Not bad. The only reason it did not receive five out of five stars was because I initially made a fountain drink and it was really flat and it was as if the fountain itself had not been kept up in a while. Saving grace was that, you receive the discount with chips and the bottle drink as well. This one remains on the list of go to shops!

If you've been to one Publix, you've pretty much been to them all. Their stores appear to be extremely consistent from one to the next, they run a pretty tight ship. I don't do most of my grocery shopping there because generally I find their prices to be somewhat high, but that isn't all Publix is about. Publix has a wide variety of stuff besides groceries, in fact, for many people it is just as useful as a restaurant as anything. I've had their catering, sandwiches, salad bar, and even their sushi. Overall, I'm pleased with my experiences in each case. Publix makes the best deli sandwiches of the grocery chains, let's just get that out of the way up front. Generous amounts and variety of meat and cheese, fresh bread, you name it. Hard to be let down. You also can't go wrong with their fried chicken in any form... even cold. The sushi to me is pretty good, but honestly, they aren't really beating any actual sushi restaurants around here on price. Especially on more basic rolls. At lunch, the average sushi place will get you more sushi, and prepared to order, then you'll get at Publix (or any grocery store) for a similar price. I wish they'd be more competitive on price, because it isn't as good. Good enough, but not like a sushi restaurant. Overall, Publix is a great place to shop and grab a bite to eat as well. Customer service there is top notch and the stores are always pristine. I'll continue to be an occasional patron, but probably not a regular grocery shopper.

I fell in love with Publix during Covid. Since they get a truck every day, they never ran out of anything! I was even able to buy toilet paper here during the big shortage! It's always clean, they have consistently good deals throughout the store and I love all of the specialty sections. The deli offers fresh made sandwiches every day and it is a great and affordable lunch or dinner. They offer ready made sushi that is always delicious and only $5 on Wed!

It is so unbelievably disgusting. It is so thick

I love this Publix, everything except for the deli. when you ask for thin sliced cheese, apparently it's an issue every single time. When you're paying $10 a pound for something maybe they should try giving you what you asked for.

First of all, I mainly use Publix as a restaurant, deli or quick grab for delicious and healthy lunches and dinners. I will also grab things that I need at the office or at home while I am there, but I am mostly a happy patron looking for a Publix Submarine sandwich (Pub Sub) overflowing with fresh vegetables, cheeses & meats on good-quality in-house baked bread, sushi ($5 sushi Wednesdays) and a wide variety of deli case and shelf grab-n-go options. A small seating area is located off the deli, with the soda machine. Utensils and condiments. I have also heard from multiple people that their wings are out of this world good. I use the app to order my subs and you would not believe the convenience and ease. Pick all of your toppings + and have it ready for pick up at the deli at the time you specify. Service is usually pretty good any everyone is friendly and helpful. They also celebrate your anniversary as a publix member and your birthday and half anniversary with cool treats sent to your email for a free bouquet of flowers, ice cream treat, piece of cake, and other sweet treats. I really enjoy being a rewards member and shopping here!

I had heard from others that Publix made good cakes. Decided to give them a try for my Dads birthday. I ordered my cake online, made all the choices, chose the day and time of pick up and I was done. (Vanilla cake with whipped icing) Arrived the day of pick up, cake was ready, decorated as requested and received a cake knife/spatula as well. My dad loved the cake, it tasted great! I would definitely order a cake from Publix again.

For the most part, we were very impressed with this store. It is bright, clean, and attractive with spacious isles. The produce and meat sections are especially nice, with plenty of attractive choices. There was a problem in the deli area, and after 10 minutes without being waited on I just left - during that 10 minutes only 1 employee was helping 1 customer, 3 other employees milling around behind the deli area. Checkout was a breeze. We'll be back when in the area

Not very nice at the self checkout line but great products but the customer service needs a complete overhaul.

Great variety and service. When I'm in Florida, I always shop at Publix. I love their deli here in High Point. They have great food.

Don't waste your time at Harris Teeter - too expensive and the Food Lion is simply 3rd rate.

It was my first time at the Publix location on Gate City Blvd. in Greensboro, NC. In "typical"…read morePublix fashion, it did not disappoint. The parking lot was immaculate, with no debris in sight and shopping carts corralled. Upon entering, there are recycling bins and plastic bag returns, also neatly maintained. The store is clean and airy, with the happy buzz of employees dressed in green going about their tasks. To demonstrate the quality of this particular store, and what impressed me the most, I have a story. I was there for a specific item (although I left with $50 dollars worth of other items, but I digress), and was having difficulty locating it. Ben, the store manager was busy stocking shelves and was coming down the frozen food aisle, so I stopped him to inquire. Without hesitation, he kindly looked up the item, checked the stock, and found a boatload of what I needed (yay!) and then educated me on where the other plant-based items were in this specific store. Score! I had been to THREE other Publix stores (yes in three different cities...lol) on my search. This store has now become "Numero Uno" in my book. It was so well stocked and the employees were so helpful, that I will enjoy coming back again, and again, and I would invite anyone to do the same.

If you want a stressfree experience and a cake everyone will actually want a second slice of, this is the spot! Thank you!

Really the only times/things I shop for here are when they are running g their big sales. I stopped in last night to replenish my cheese supply, as they regularly run a "buy 2 get 3 free sale" on shredded cheese, and that's a great value, but in general, their pricing has gotten too high. They do have nice things like a fresh sushi bar, even a salad and Asian food buffet bar, but I'm real leery if things like that, especially after Covid, when no one is monitoring it. They are a good source for finding some rare, or harder to find items, but will pay a premium for them. I understand stores are in the business of making money, but when you can regularly run a "buy 2, get 3 free" sale and still make money, then your mark ups are simply too high. My receipt last night showed my savings was almost to the penny the same as the amount I spent...and again, I'm sure they're making a profit, so it's disappointing they run such high pricing
