Drive thru pickup window has been hit or miss lately. Sometimes they are open and sometimes they were not. Even when the sore clearly was open with an hour of operating time left, the window will be black and the pharmacy will be closed. Additionally. I had meds that read 3 tablets 3 times a day. They disbursed 180 pills. I didn't realize it until my prescription ran out early. 3 tabs 3 times a day should have been 270 tablets. It was a mess but we finally got the insurance to pay for the medicine and disburse the additional 90 tablets. read more

There is a reason this store has an overall 1.5 score. I made 4 phone calls using the "modern" call back system: Never a call back (note, I waited 1-2 days before following up). I finally went in person to speak with the Pharmacist. Oh my. What arrogance. After 3 weeks in queue with my Rx, The Pharmacist notes that more information was needed. "As Directed" was no longer acceptable for an Rx that has been filled this way for 2 years. He then went over the top and said it "was the Dr's office that should be apologizing." Wait: There's more. So I asked him why this was not flagged 3 weeks ago when submitted. I noted he was good at passing the buck and not taking accountability. AND, never a return phone call after 4 attempts. I had to leave. No accountability. Unprofessional. Non-responsive. This is something no customer or patient should receive for healthcare events. As a comparison: I accidentally called another CVS at the beginning of this morass. My call was returned promptly. Guess who I called back this morning? The same pharmacist called and she remembered our call. She even apologized for CVS---corporate ownership! Guess where all of my Rx are going? AND...I am escalating this too. STFD! No one deserves this. I serve the public and would never treat a customer this way. Don't upset a bald veteran. We know how to call in for support. read more

When you are dispensing medication to the public, you have a responsibility to, at the very least, be reasonably kind. You are dealing with people when they are at their most vulnerable; People are coming to pick up medicines because they have the flu, they have mental issues, they have sick children, they are caring for a loved one that may or may not make it, or they are simply struggling...It is deeply troubling to have the type of experience that I had with several pharmacy team members in the last few weeks. It's honestly despicable. There is a standard of customer service that doesn't even exist at this place. The female pharmacist running things is incredibly hateful and is not very helpful at all,..She has as much empathy as your average psychopath has. If you ask her about customer service, she'll tell you it's not her job. She will also tell you that your needs and feelings aren't her problem and that they aren't Chick-fil-A. If you're looking for someone to be nice to you gosomewhere fancy. It's disappointing when you have to explain to a manager why it's unacceptable for a pharmacy tech to not speak to me when checking out. To be completely ignored and stared at like i have three heads and overtly overlooked. You know it takes more energy to go out of your way to ignore someone than to simply be nice and respond like a normal person. It's not about "getting your butt kissed" It's about basic human decency, which Apparently CVS pharmacy doesn't understand. I understand that jobs like that can be exhausting and demanding. I have waited tables, worked crap jobs, customer service, you name it! I have worked with people one on one for 18 years. I built my Business that way. I've kissed a lot of butts to make a living, but I always have always made it a priority to be kind to people. You don't know what people are going through. And it doesn't take that much energy to just be nice. It's not that hard and it really does affect other people when you treat them like crap. The manager of the pharmacy at CVS should be ashamed of herself acting the way she did when I went there today to complain about how I was treated. I have never in my life been so dismissed. Wasn't just that though. Her standards of how she thinks she should treat the public are deplorable. It's clear she hates her job and she definitely hates the public. There are some very angry, employees in the pharmacy... (On a sidenote, there is a pharmacy tech there named Mel .She is the most amazing person. She's always cheerful and she goes out of her way to be kind every darn time. Seeing her is like interacting with sunshine. I will miss seeing her seeing her. Definitely not going to go in that CVS ever again unless I'm on fire and CVS is the only place that has water. But Mel is a great example of how kindness is a simple way for all of us to interact & be better humans. It makes a huge difference and there are still some of us that thinks it's important. read more

Worst pharmacy in High Point!! They NEVER answer their phone. Their customer service is ALWAYS lacking and the prices on the items in the store are HIGH! After more then 20 years of using this CVS I was forced to find a different Pharmacy. This place became the worst in High Point. Rude, unprofessional pharmacist, extremely rude technicians, several times I was told there was shortage of my medication, called other CVS in area and no shortage was ever reported. Also, several times I have noticed my monthly bottle of pills lacking in quantity. My Doctor was unable to update my prescription because pharmacist told him that he wouldn't do it. When I finally went to the pharmacy in person, I was treated like a drug addict, was laughed at and talked to very unkindly. The one star review is TOO MUCH! read more

This location has the absolute worst customer service. I have called repeatedly to speak with the pharmacy and the automated system hangs up on me. They get my quantity wrong repeatedly even though it has been the same for over a year. They try to charge me even though my meds are free due to Medi-Care. And most recently, I pulled up to the drive thru window at 1:20 PM (one car ahead of me). They chatted with them until 1:29 PM and then when I got up to the window - the closed the gate for lunch. It was not 1:30 PM. They did not bother to even speak to me - even though I had been waiting in line patiently. Their text messaging is seldom correct. CVS in the past was one of the most top notched pharmacy in the area. Unacceptable quality in medication, most times you may have to wait 2 to 3 days for medications or you'll never get the correct information about your meds. The CVS at Target actually gave me the wrong amount of medications and tried to intimate me to bring it back so the could cover their butts!!!! I'm disabled and I tried to tell them to send someone to come and get it. They wouldn't then they banned me. Thanks CVS!!!! read more

This pharmacy treats people with vocal disabilities poorly. I was put on hold for over 1 hour. Called back and was hung up on. All I wanted to do was schedule a booster shot update and a flu shot. Rude Front Desk person; am in the process of 2nd hour of hold for a pharmacy person to schedule a shot. I don't use a cell phone and their programming on their sight is so poor. This is why people don't get boosters and this store should be and will be reported to the Home Office of CVS, and also to Fed's about the issues around getting a booster; and they wonder why people who are disabled don't bother read more

My husband tested positive for COVID this morning at urgent care and, of course, felt terrible. He left urgent care and proceeded to CVS on Eastchester to obtain his prescriptions wearing a mask. I work in health care and am big on using PPE. The pharmacy tech was extremely rude and unprofessional. I was on the phone with my husband while he was at the drive-thru window. She rudely informed him they did not have the medication and told him he would just have to "call around." She closed the window in his face before he could ask any further questions. I had to call the pharmacy from my clinic to ask the questions my husband wanted to ask. We located the medication at another nearby CVS, and my husband drove around to the drive-thru and waited over 10 minutes for someone to come to the window to try to transfer the prescriptions. The quality of service was extremely poor and unprofessional and has gone down at this location. read more

My prescriptions were sent to this CVS by mistake. I have been trying to get them transferred to a Walmart Pharmacy closer and more convenient to my home for over two weeks now. Walmart has requested transfer twice and I have personally called CVS multiple times. Every time I am given the run around and promised they will be sent, but they never do. Very frustrating. Don't think I will be doing any further business with CVS if this is how they are going to treat me. read more

This is your typical CVS store. Many selections and employees who act as if they hate their jobs. The one thing I don't like about this location is the entry and exit. Always congested and hard to get out of. Especially if you need to turn left. read more

This has to be the worst CVS in history. They consistently do not have prescriptions ready for 3-4 days after calling in a refill. Took in a new (very common) prescription at 1:30 on a Tuesday and was told it would be the next Tuesday before they "might" get it in. I see other folks are not happy but they have been my pharmacy for many years! Sometimes they do get overwhelmed with prescriptions but I have had nothing but good experiences with the pharmacists who are patient with my questions. I have watched the staff very deliberately going over medications with seniors who can get confused. I have watched them try to explain the complexities of what is covered by insurance. They are more like a neighborhood pharmacy instead of a chain. read more

I am moving my prescriptions after my two visits today! I waited ten minutes in the drive through line and had to finally leave there was only one car ahead of me. Now I am waiting again. Worst drug store in the area. 2 attempts to fill a subscription and both times a fail. 1) They "lost" me in their system and second try the same problem. Apparently they mis-spelled my last name but both times acknowledged the error and did not offer to correct it in the future. I'll take my business elsewhere. read more
