The first occasion, after waiting a couple additional days for the delivery, I called and asked what happened.....They told me that they packed the prescription up for FedEx but never put it in the FedEx pick-up bin...... The second occasion, again after waiting a couple additional days for the delivery, I called and asked what happened.....This time they told me that FedEx picked-up the package and the fact that I never received the delivery at all, I was told that it is incumbent (Paraphrasing, guaranteed no one there has a clue what incumbent means) ....The issues is out of there hands....I asked, can you give me the tracking number.....I was told that they don't have a tracking number for any shipments .... What? that was over two weeks ago and the prescription never arrived..... I have been charged for them but never refunded.......I called the store tonight to attempt to see if a store manager could help me..... I called at 8:57PM and was placed on hold for over a half hour with no response (other an automated voice telling me just how busy they were....someone will answer shortly......I finally hung up and notice on that stores web site that they are temporarily closed (entire store but the store will be opening at 9:00am on 3/12/2022. Duh, what, When? I far as I am concerned, they can remain temporarily closed for ever.....I will be moving all of my business to a new Phamacy..... what a shame!

The level of personal service and general friendliness of the staff is great. Inside, the store is a nice change from big chain stores where 90% of the shelves are filled with candy, hair products, cheap toys, candy, etc. at Archdale Drug, the aisles are widely spaced, they have a limited but well chosen stock, it's an actual pharmacy -- not a novelty store.

(30+ minutes while waiting) I can walk into Archdale Drug and within 10 minutes my prescriptions are filled and I'm on my way. They are super friendly and know me by name. It doesn't sound like much but it makes me feel better knowing this because I know they are looking out for me and making sure that my meds aren't going to cause any issues with me. They value my time and that is a big deal to me. The family atmosphere is exceptional. I get calls on my birthday and to remind me that my meds are ready to refill. They have a delivery service however I don't use it. I know it's a Godsend for their elderly customers. You are a person and not a number here and that means something. Ryan and his team and second to none in caring and service. They don't have the hours of the bigger pharmacy's but being cared about is more important....it is to me and my family. I HIGHLY recommend Archdale Drug for all of your prescription needs.

It's bigger than the North Main location and is also closer to Archdale and Trinity. Residents of nearby Thomasville, Archdale, Trinity, and Jamestown come to this Walmart to shop. My dad prefers coming to this Walmart over the one on North Main because it has a bigger selection, more items in stock, and he can get in and out faster. I agree with him, for the most part. A reason to not come to this location over the North Main location is it's generally more crowded and hectic. Just a lot more people to deal with. The shopping experience at the North Main location is relatively more pleasant though you may not find all the items you want. Something to keep in mind. My wife and I were able to find just about everything we wanted on our last visit to this location, mostly household cleaning supplies and toiletries like Clorox ToiletWands and refills, Scrubbing Bubbles Fresh Gel, Colgate toothpaste, Lever 2000 bar soap, Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser, Neutrogena Healthy Skin Face Lotion, Suave Men 2-in-1 Shampoo + Conditioner, ChapStick, and more. All at good or reasonable prices. Of the two Walmart Supercenters (not Neighborhood Markets) in High Point, this is the more working class one with a diverse clientele.

This is a convenient location for me because of where I live in Randleman; Randleman Walmart is fabulous but if I have errands to run in High Point, this location works well for me for grabbing a couple of items. A big downfall of this store is that they are out of stock on a lot of items most of the time. You can always find an abundance of milk, bread, eggs, butter and most of your grocery stables like chips, cereal and cookies. However, specialty items are usually not found here, and there are usually lots of empty shelves and spots where items should be stocked. I do agree with one of the reviews below where they stated that most of the employees are in their own world between themselves etc ... a few times, I have waved hello and smiled at an employee passing by only to have them completely ignore me and on the flip side, I have had wonderful, lengthy and fun conversations with some of the employees as well. I think it is just a 50-50 split when it comes to customer service here. I find myself stopping in this store about once every two weeks, just for a couple of items to add to a dinner menu or maybe some snacks for my kids for school. I will continue to shop at this particular location because I find it convenient, I have had pretty good experiences with customer service and most of the time they have what I need. For about the first year everything was stocked well, good variety and fresh, over the last several months the store has taken a nose dive . The staff is still super friendly and nice but there is massive amounts of out of stocks, poor selection, and several out of dates on multiple items sitting on the shelves . I don't know if management changed or what, but it's like shopping in a dumpster now , you never know what you'll find and if it's edible...
