So cool! I've been here several times now and have enjoyed each visit. The atmosphere has nothing more than the basics required by their business: Shelves filled with beer, a bar with six taps, and a single-hopper toilet. The stools are some of the most comfortable I've ever experienced. I was almost giddy with glee when I noticed the Brooklyn Blast Imperial Double IPA on tap. Unfortunately, the keg was tapped out as the bartender began the pour. No worries, the place was rife with other options. As far as I know, it's the only place in Greensboro that offers the ability to drink on site *or* take beer away. (Correct me if I'm wrong, fellow Yelpers!!) This novelty makes it worth considering a visit, but the wide variety of beers makes it a "must do." While we were there, a steady stream of people came in to fill four- and six-packs of craft beers. The staff come across as supreme experts and are happy to answer questions about even the most obscure of their offerings. It's definitely competing with Bestway Grocery's Wall of Beers, but is different enough to woo even the most loyal Bestway-er for an occasional visit. read more

This review is actually specifically for the location in Graham (but both are great). Beer Co. is an incredible addition to Alamance County and the Graham community. The only other bottle shops around lack the selection Beer Co. boasts, as well as the space and staff. Every bartender here is friendly and helpful. They regular get beers you cannot get anywhere else (Hello, Heist) and are invested in bringing strong entertainment options to the area. Couldn't be more happy to have Beer Co. around. Oh, and it may seem a little on the pricey side if you're not into beer, but I promise you it's priced much better than its rivals in Elon and Mebane. Don't go to those places. Come here. read more

This place has only been open a little more than three weeks and its already my new favorite place. Not only are there 6 beers on tap (that rotate) there are PLENTY of beers and ciders from which to choose and drink in-house or take 'em to go. There was even a discount $1.50 bin girl of ice and cold beer! Who does that?! The place has high ceilings and is kinda small, but has really comfortable stools for you and a couple of buddies to throw a couple back before heading out to Elm to carouse in the streets. Reasonably priced and not marked up at ALL--this site is the perfect addition to Downtown Greensboro. With heavy competition from other establishments that sell beer, this place is a nice oasis amongst all of that. Experienced in the ways of the bottle shop, owner Josh Coe and his employees know what they're doing and every beer I could think to ask if they had, they did. They have a great selection of beer & cider to choose from, and Josh and the rest are very knowledgeable and helpful with making suggestions. Their rotating taps always offer something interesting. I like the utilitarian feel of the place, especially in that there are no TVs...its getting pretty hard to find places that don't assault you with walls of televisions. read more

Cool place for the most part--great beers available and a super knowledgable staff; three main workers and ones a part owner, all great personalities. Lay back with 6 taps and the full stock list to open up and drink from. Bunch of regulars in addition to the staff to steer you in the right direction row hat to grab(be it take home I drink there.) love that Molotov cocktail. Glad to see something other than the catered college bar down town in Greensboro. Prices are a lil high to be fair they are compensating for the ABC liquor license to serve from what I can tell. Fantastic little bottle shop in downtown Greensboro. 6 rotating taps along with dozens of bottle selections. You can buy and drink on premise or take it home to enjoy (slightly different prices per beer for each option). If you're having trouble making a beer decision, owner Josh will be ready with a worthy suggestion. I've also found it to be a very easy place to strike up a conversation with others around you. No kitchen but you can bring in your own food if you wish. read more

I've been in here several times and found the staff here pretty rude and unwilling to be of much help at all. I would rather have a sub par collection than a staff that is unwelcoming to anyone who is not a regular. I'll give them another try in the future, because I love the concept and what they are trying to do. But, hopefully, service will have improved. read more

There are better places in G'boro, my opinion. First of all it's very small. There are only maybe 6 stools to sit on (which are very uncomfortable) and getting a drink can be quite the hassle when the bar is full. When asking to taste the beer, the bartender usually gives you a cup a foam.. lol! I thought it was a mistake at first but then I had another taster and he gave me a cup of foam. There's a limited selection of beers that they serve on draft (6 or 7), but they do have a decent selection of bottled and can beers. And I must say, the people were not very welcoming. The plus was the dogs. There were two dogs there last night that were sooo cute! But if you're not a dog lover be warned as they were pretty big dogs. read more
