Haven't heard of Harris Teeter when I moved to NC, they are a grocery & pharmacy and we're apparently bought out by Kroger. I prefer them more than Food Lion as the quality and customer service is great. I've also been getting my prescribed medications from here. I like that they have a self check out center for quick access. All around great! read more

Harris Teeter is pricey bit the sales are great. The sandwiches are delicious. The cookies are great. The asian food is good. The Starbucks drinks are delicious better than the stand alone stores. read more

This Harris Teeter needs major work. Their produce looks absolutely disgusting. The apples were rotted and the mandarin oranges looked like they expired a year ago. There was also mold on the grapes smh. Not to mention that they were out of produce bags. The rest of the store was fine but I do not plan on revisiting this grocery store. Their usually clean and I like the customer service but I did get tired of always going in the store. So decided to try the online ordering. They messed up my order both times. I am so thankful for the front-line workers at this local grocery store. They always work hard to fill our order quickly and correctly. They are personable and caring. Right now, I am particularly thankful for their service so we do not have to enter the store and expose ourselves to the virus. Any yet, they are in there every single day working long hours. As one of my favorite Harris Teeter employees, Hannah, said when I asked if they were overwhelmed, "We're getting it done!" I am a former RN and so appreciate the health care workers. This is a local, smaller HT in Brookdale shopping plaza. It is very busy, no matter the time. The store is organized and clean. Better attention could be made to the produce- I often see produce that has had better days for sale. There aren't a lot of frills here. There a sub and sushi bar, salad bar and deli options. A very small bakery area and decent sized meat/fish counter. If there was a Starbucks here it would make my lifetime! We need a coffee shop in our hood! read more

Never going back. Cashier was very rude. I was next in line and she said I can u-scan. I said I'll just wait. She started scanning my items and throwing across the counter for the other helper to bag. Never greeted us or smiled. She continued taking her frustration out on the groceries. I'm a fan of Harris Teeter stores. Have been for years. They're typically very clean stores. They have the same layout in most stores so your favorite items are easily found. The staff is very friendly. Their inventory seems to be very extensive. You can find somewhat rare items that other stores do not have. Also, during peak hours they have great samples that really do persuade you to buy. Great store! read more

This is a Terrible Harris Teeter Store and unfortunately it is the one that's closest to me. They NEVER have my HT diet rootbeer in stock even though I requested of the many managers there they stock more of it. They are useless! They have the worst produce I have ever seen and it more expensive than all other stores. We shop mostly at Aldi because the prices are at least half of Harris Teeters. They took the carriages out of the store which was a stupid move and stuck a Starbucks in the front, completely in the way. They alway have long lines because they have too few people working there and the cash register set up is the dumbest set up I have ever seen! read more

This is the worst location in Charlotte. I'm a huge Harris teeter fan I drive around town for a living so I've been in all the stores. The bakery especially. They always tell me there out I stuff. How does a bakery....in a grocery store....stand there and tell me we don't have any of that would you like another kind of sub. Every other store walks out front gets what ever. They never have any hit foods ready and have some excuse why they cant make any Today I asked store attendant if there was any more of an item as they where out? to which I was told sorry no the vendors stock that. I highly doubt a vendor would only supply the store with two wich is all the refrigerator holds. Staff is rude and unhelpful bakery is poorly run. And inventory is poorly kept. Reccomend driving the extra distance to go to another store. read more

I am only giving two stars because their self check out scanners are the worst. It is almost never detected when one places items in the bags. This has been going on for months. I have shared my concerns several times. The clerks say it happens all day. It is frustrating. I hope they will fix this soon or I will go elsewhere. read more

I was so excited to have a Harris Teeter one minute from my house. That is until I started shopping there. I've been shopping their for years and it is consistently terrible, even after the corporate office tried to intervene. This store is not even close to the standards of Harris Teeter. Their food is always out of stock, rotten, molded or past the expiration date. The worst example of this is my mother ended up with a vision threatening eye infection from expired eye drops. The store tried to ignore our concerns regarding this matter. The store manager is very unhelpful and unfriendly to a point of being rude. I'm very disappointed with this store. I go out of my way now in order to avoid the store one minute from my house. It's really frustrating. read more

We shop here a lot and I'm almost always pleased. Meat department employees always friendly and quick to help with a special request. The only problem is lately it seems they are out of items I'm looking for. I think it's because Kroger recently bought them out and I have read that they(Kroger) are more worried with the bottom line than the customer experience and cut employees hours so less time stocking shelves. read more

I have been coming to this Harristeeter since it opened in the early 2000's the staff has always been knowledgeable. Until the last 3-4 months.Today I asked 3 different employees where I could find the sloppy joe mix / manwich? The first person said I don't know and turned to asked the two other employees next to her and the just shrugged their shoulders(SHE HAD A RADIO HEADSET ON!) then a fourth employee walks up and tells me it's in frozen foods....... i ask him when canned meat seasoning started being put with the frozen foods ? He then said oh yeah it's on isle 4 with baking and spices ( he also had a radio in his ear) then when I go to isle 4 of course it's not there. So I say forget it and go to check out and the original girl I asked is there and she says "did you find it ?" To which I say "nope" she then asks if I want her to radio someone ? Then I say " well that's why I asked you in the first place " why do these kids have radios when they don't use them or REALLY EVEN TRY TO HELP THE CUSTOMERS I live closer to 3 food lions and a Publix .
