We had a large party for a 70th birthday of 26 people. Our server was Dominic, he took the best care of us and by himself managed to make sure everyone and everything was taken care of. We were a hard group of crazy family and yet he made sure everyone had what they needed. Thank you Harrigan's and a special Thank you to Dominic for making sure it was a happy fun night with no hiccups . We'll definitely be back.

I wanted to tried this place with my friend for awhile. Food was very well portioned, and it had that comfort taste, but it was a bit on the heavy side. So you may want to share some plates. The place by itself it's very enjoyable, it has lots of seating for small and large parties, although the vibe it's in the dark/candlelight side. The bathroom were super cute and clean. Our server was extremely polite and servicial, they did take a bit to seat us although the place was not full.

We were there for our anniversary and it was a great evening. I forgot to make a reservation but they save room for walk-in's and we were seated immediately. We started with the fried zucchini. It was hot and crispy with lots of flavor. Forgot to take a picture. We both ordered medium rare prime rib and they were perfect. Sides were creamed spinach and baked potato. Both were excellent. The side salads were just right and the ranch and blue cheese dressings had great flavor without being too salty. I need to come here more often.

The food here is good. I like sitting at the bar, it's usually pretty full, but you can expect a spot or two to be open. The meatloaf is awesome and the drinks are pretty good. The service isn't the best and they seem to have high turn over. You can't go wrong with the spinach artichoke dip.

Beautiful elegance without pretentiousness! Prime rib and Mushroom Soup is a must try. Variety Appetizer was filling. Full Rack of Smoke Ribs is a HUGE amount of food! Tender, fall off the bone!! Chicken Del Mar is flavorful topped with plenty of Crab, no shrimp found. Might be too fishy for some and the sauce is heavy with salt. Club Sirloin was perfectly cooked best for those who prefer their meat LIGHTLY SEASONED. TWISTED MOSCATO was beautifully sweet. Key Lime Pie is exactly what you should expect. Tart and full of Lime flavor. Will definitely be back and sharing this lovely restaurant with others!

French onion soup is on point.

The food is excellent as always, and they make you feel welcome. The atmosphere is louder than their previous location.

Definitely one of the better places in Lubbock. Best prime rib in town, good service, a nice atmosphere and reasonable prices.

Automatic 5 stars because they have a GOOD Shuffleboard. I love me some shuffleboard. This new…read moreplace not only boasts a shuffleboard, they have pool tables, a few arcade games, a gigantic stage (think Karaoke, Comedy and Music), LOTS of seating, good lighting, big screen wall-mounted TVs and we have not event talked about food or drinks yet. Listen up, this place is new (opened late Nov 2024) so they are still working out the kinks. I say this because there are two reviews on this place that mention negative things. IMHO I think thus far they are excelling and will only get better and better. We need to give them grace as they learn and grow. ***So please READ MY REVIEW and ignore the 1 stars.*** The food we ordered was tasty, affordable and came out quickly. Drinks for the entire table were on point. Shout out to Chet who will gladly curate a drink for you if you are not sure what you want. Oh and did I mention 237 is located inside? 237 is Speakeasy located inside of Soggy Dog (at this time 237 is open Thur-Sat nights). 237 has it's own vibe and drink menu. PRO TIP: Enter Soggy Dog through either of the double set of metal doors. Yes you are at the right place. I will take pictures of the entrance on my next visit.

The chips and queso were an appetizer but came out with the rest of the food. Queso was extremely burned so I asked for it to be removed from the ticket; instead, they replaced it with spicy broccoli cheese soup. Okra and fries were not cooked all the way through; seems hard to mess up food service frozen food, but here we are. The hot chicken sandwich was made with chicken so tough I couldn't cut it. The hot sauce was nice, the salsa was decent. My giant mug of beer was flat but at least it was cold. Overall: poor food, slow service. Was hoping for better.

I would also highly recomend going on Saturday for their brunch menu! I will give major props to the server, Mollie, and her manager for doing a phenomenal job resolving a minor issue with the order quickly, politely, and effectively. The atmosphere was fair with good music and humorous decor in the bathroom. The lights weren't for me, but others may like the statement. Where The Reserve was lacking was the food. The pepperoni pizza was pretty good, but again there are better options around town. It did taste like it had been prepared in a genuine brick oven. The tortellini was bland. The queso was good enough, but nothing to get excited about. The salsa was downright terrible. The chips were actually phenomenal. The margarita made no attempt to cover up the strong taste of tequila. The Chilton tasted like club soda and not much else. Lastly, some of the surprise fees made me feel like I was booking air travel or paying a wireless bill rather than getting a nice meal. The final charge was a few dollars more than what was shown on the ticket. I assumed this was probably due to a service charge for paying with a card, although I didn't see it with a quick glance at the receipt. In all fairness, I'm sure this was disclosed somewhere and I overlooked it. I have come to accept this as the way of the world now. Also, when we ordered the chips and queso, we were asked if we wanted salsa with it. We accepted the salsa with the assumption that it was complimentary. Granted, since we were asked, I should have assumed that there was a charge for it. The charge was reasonable, although wasted because the salsa was so terrible. I did receive approximately a 5% discount for the order mix-up, and I actually ended up with a free pizza as well. The service and attentiveness were truly exemplary. I would give this place a second chance if I were in the area, but I certainly will not go out of my way for it.

Also had the monte cristo appetizer, very good! Our table had the espresso martini, out of Eden martini and 90-806 bottle. All were very good! ONLY complaint was I wish there were listed options for sides. The fries are good but I just genuinely like a veggie side. Otherwise- perfect! Will be back! Service was great and "cousin" came by our table frequently. Also to note, it's not cheap and it's not fast. We knew all this going in so it wasn't an issue but something to consider if that would be a problem. Although, the price and time are completely justified. It's that good!

Both times the filling of the sandwich was very sparse. The message it was sending was, "we're too cheap to fill this sandwich" - why was there like 3 little steak bites on the cheese steak? Same with the shrimp. Why are the sandwiches not filled up? For $16+ dollars I would at least expect a full sandwich. A heaping pile of fries does not distract from this. The drinks/cocktails are good, and the quality of food is good too. I have a problem with the portions for the price.

While sitting in the Walmart parking lot researching places near where I'm staying for work in Lubbock, I came across The Funky Door Bistro Wine Room. I'm so glad I did. When I pulled up, I appreciated the ample parking and immediately noticed the unique wine‑glass door handles--such a fun touch. Inside, the décor is warm and inviting with wood accents, dim lighting, and a beautiful display of wines. The upstairs seating overlooking the main floor adds to the charm. The service was excellent from start to finish. I ordered a grapefruit mimosa and an egg‑white omelet with avocado, feta, spinach, and breakfast potatoes with caramelized onions and peppers. I was charged extra for egg whites, but it was absolutely worth it. Everything was flavorful and cooked perfectly. From the hostess to the server, the service and timing were spot‑on.
