First, I want to start by saying that I have always had good massages at Harmony and today's was good as well. The reason for the low rating is due to the overall experience that I have had there. My husband bought me a gift certificate for a 90 minute massage for my birthday. He left the receipt with the gift certificate because he said that there was a lot of confusion at the front desk at the time of the purchase. I noticed that the receipt was for the cost of a 90 minute, but the gc was for a 60 minute. We went in to explain what happened and were told that the 60 minute gc had been redeemed and could she "see some ID". After an uncomfortable exchange, she found a post-it note with my husbands name stating that there had been an issue. She gave us a 90 minute gc and I scheduled a 90 minute massage. Today, I had my massage; at the end, in the dark room, I mentioned that it seemed quick and the massage therapist said "yes, that was a quick 90 minutes". I got up to get dressed and noticed by the clock that it had only been 60 minutes. On my exit, the woman, who I believe is the owner, said "on your way in or out?" I have had several strange interactions with her in the past, so I was not surprised by her comment. I said "out" and started to explain what happened. She asked if I told the therapist what happened, but I explained that I was up and dressed by the time I knew. I tried to explain the entire uncomfortable fiasco to her and she did offer to give me the difference back. It really made no sense to give me the difference as it was equivalent to what I would have tipped. BUT, it basically was tipping one-third of a massage. I am going to find a different place to go from now on. Too many strange interactions at Harmony, which I attribute to the ownership. read more

I twisted my back out of place too vigorously cheering for the Seahawks. I tried to make an appointment with my chiropractor but wouldn't be able to get in for a week. So, I called Harmony Massage and was able to get an appointment Saturday morning at 10 am. I could barely walk, getting in and out of the car was painful. Harmony is the ONLY place that I will go for massages. I have tried other places throughout the years, and always find myself going back to Harmony. The space is unbelievably relaxing and the rooms/beds are very aesthetically pleasing. Yukako is by far my favorite massage therapist, she gives an extremely relaxing yet deep tissue massage. I have also had a massage from Ruth who was brutally deep, but after the massage I felt like a million bucks! Also, they are very flexible and are great about making appointments in the same day. The prices are reasonable and I always receive newsletters that offer discounts. I always refer my friends and family to Harmony and will continue to do so! 5 stars in my book!!! read more

Are other 5 therapist also refer to Harmony and see the same results with their patients. They are great at accommodating your needs if you like a deep or lighter massage. I have had a lot of massages over my professional career and have found Harmony to be the best. Are patient's come back and continuously provide feedback regarding their massage with such a positive experience at Harmony Massage I could not refer any of my patient anywhere else. Harmony Massage has a new location, and the change is fabulous. The rooms are soothing, quiet, well appointed and the therapists offer various types of treatments. Great sports therapy and stress relief! In 2010 at age 61 is started running to get in shape and loose weight. I ran my first organized run in 2010 since high school, it was a 5 mile run. Since then I have focused on half marathons and been training for them. A big part of long distance running is recovering and keeping repetitive injuries in check while putting in the miles each week. As an older guy, recovery is even harder. Weekly massage has helped me prevent and recover from sports running injuries. Some books I have read say over 60% of long distance runner suffer a training injury each year. Ashleigh is great at getting in and feeling which leg muscles are not relaxed and working them until they relax, which helps them heal and allows me to run with proper form. She has helped me deal with problems on an Achilles tendon, pinched nerve, knee problems and then tight quadriceps. So far in over 2 years I haven't missed a race I have been training for. It is also amazing how much better I feel in terms of general relaxation. I always make sure I schedule an appointment one to two days before a race and another about two days after to help recover. As an senior citizen I get the senior discount, which makes this very worthwhile as part of my training. Extremely disappointed in my experience. Had an appointment for a 90 minute massage with Mike. I was in serious pain through my upper back and shoulders. I explained my history and a fall I had in August 2015. Instead on focusing on my current pain, he was more interested in the issues from this fall. He was determined to do Bowen Therapy on me and I got to the point, before I broke down in tears from pain, I let him. He did do a few minutes of massage on me, cause I demanded it, but did not fully focus on the spots I was calling it. Instead it did the Bowen Therapy. And now, here I am at the gym on Monday, same tightness and pain, not able to fully participate in my personal training, and I am out over $100 for a service I did not want. Will I go back, probably not. Would I recommend the facility as a whole, no. The environment was not relaxing. I went in with pain and wished I would have waited for someone that would have at least helped with my tense muscles and scar tissue. I don't go for a massage to hear your stories, it's about me. I ended up just humoring the whole experience because I felt I had no other choice. Looking back now, I should have walked out. read more

I'm sorry but I had the worst experience here. I've been having very bad shoulder and neck pain and searched the closest place to my home, and I got this. I called them and whoever answered the phone was unprofessional, and a little rude. I booked a half hour session and asked for a chair massage because that's how I feel I get the most relief. I was asked to come in 10 mins early for my appt to fill out paper work, so I came in around 15 mins early just to be safe. My appt was at 6:15 and wasn't brought back until 6:30. I addressed my pain with the therapist and I thought she understood, but she did not massage that area at all and did not get the chair massage I asked for. It was not a relaxing experience, she just kept talking and talking. She said time was up and promptly left (it was 6:48) I was confused why it ended early.. So I told the receptionist. The therapist said she was confused about the time (??) and brought me back for the remainder of the time I had booked. After that was over, she said time was up and that she would bring me some water. But she never came back. I honestly wish they would have cared about this mistake and offered me a discount or a gift card or something. And now I still have extreme pain and I'm 40$ down, Never coming back again. read more

The massage therapists I've had so far have ranged from decent to amazing. However, this review goes toward management. Julie is probably the rudest person I've met there. My interactions with her have been nothing but unpleasant. She has poorly notified me about insurance discrepancies while still letting me make appointments and waiting last minute to tell me about these issues and then making me feel like a fool for not knowing this would happen. Excuse me, this is literally your job. She's very rude and passive and I'm just not impressed. I did not realize how much management would irk me as a patient/customer when the biggest concern should be the massage therapist, but in this case it's not. I recommend this place if you're willing to put up with the attitude from her or if you are unfortunate enough to deal with her. It's sad because I genuinely like all the other staff at Harmony Massage. read more

I had a horrible experience here lately, which makes me sad because I had a great massage here years ago. It appears the place has gone downhill. My massage felt very rushed and my 90min massage lasted 70 minutes. I will no longer be recommending Harmony Massage. read more

Went here for a couples massage and were assisted by two male employees. We went early January so the weather is cold which is going to require more heating. Not only was the room cold, the oils weren't even heated, they just sat in a bottle in a cold room. And to top it off, the guy massaging me also had cold hands! You would think feeling the temperature difference between my back and his hands that he would have apologized or done something about it. But he did not. Other places I have been to heat up their oils and use heated stones to ensure their hands are warm. I called and left a voicemail expressing my concerns in the most polite way and left my number for a phone call back. They never even reached out to me to say sorry or invite me back. I will never go there again. If I am paying for a professional massage, I expect something as simple as a warm environment to be commen sense. Spend your money elsewhere. read more
