She showed me a bottle of oil and asked if this was OK. I asked her what that was and she said, "essential oil -- OK?" (Don't they all use oil for massages???) So I said yeah, that was fine. Later I found out that this "essential oil" was an extra $15 (wtf). Then she offered me hot stone (of course she didn't mention this but this was also for an additional fee). I wasn't sure why she was asking at first, so I just said no thanks. Anyway, the moment she lays her hands on me for the massage, I was able to tell that she did not have much strength. I am 5'4 and 98lbs -- you don't need to be a macho man to give me a good massage. I really wanted to walk out or tell her that I wanted to make this a shorter massage, but decided to give her a chance and asked her for more pressure. Since the request, she used her elbows for about 70% of the time. Sigh. I really wanted to leave but this lady was trying and I didn't want to be rude or hurt her feelings. I just stayed through the pain (big mistake). When it was time for me to pay, she explained that the oil was an additional charge and pointed at the rate sheet. First of all, you shouldn't offer services without explaining or getting confirmation from the customer that an additional fee is acceptable. I don't think even think using oil is considered "extra" service but whatever. I looked through the chart and saw that the hot stone was also for an additional fee (WTF). That explains why she kept offering me additional shit when I specifically told her that I was just there for a deep tissue massage. I felt scammed. Their rates were about $30 higher than other places I've been to but I would have been OK if the massage was good. NOT WORTH IT. I didn't even want to tip her but still gave the poor lady $5 for trying. Once she saw that I didn't tip her much, it obviously showed on her face and she did not even thank me or say bye. RUDE. I hope the manager or the owner sees this review because you seriously need to retrain yourselves.

It was a first-time experience at this place for both of us. I had been to many massage parlors and massage therapists before. It was my boyfriend's first time having a massage. We both were looking forward to it. The back door entry was a little creepy and there was an odd vibe to this place. I had been in some pretty sketchy places before that were so much worse and I was with my bf so it was whatever. The ratings also looked legit, so I dismissed it. However, the guy at the front desk made me feel uncomfortable when I asked him where the bathroom was. I saw the masseuse that was supposed to massage me after I left the bathroom. I walked past him in the hallway. I just got the weirdest vibe. I felt super uncomfortable. My boyfriend let me know he was feeling uncomfortable, as well. He also saw the masseuse hanging around and was just uncomfortable, again a weird vibe. So I know it wasn't just me. We just wanted to get out of there asap. We didn't care about the cancelation fee, as both of us would rather pay to not feel violated/uncomfortable. I shared this with one of the owners and it was not met with understanding, more like they were just afraid I was asking for a refund than concerned that I was uncomfortable .
