I've been to Olympus Spa a couple of times now, and it's always such a relaxing and rejuvenating experience for me. It truly feels like a reset every time I go--both mentally and physically. Pro tip: go on a Wednesday! If you enter between 4-7 PM, you can get a ticket for their 7 PM drawing. They pick 5 winners, and if you're chosen, you get to spin a prize wheel. The best prize is a free day pass--and I actually won one!! The whole experience is calming, fun, and totally worth it. Definitely one of my go-to spots when I need to unwind

Since I can't take picture in the spa. This is another picture from its cafe. Shrimp Fried Rice -blen :( Added shrimp, cost $2.

I'm annoyed how crowded the the pool are. Not everyone could sit, so they stood in the middle of the pool. It's just 10 am on Monday. Please limit how many people can enter the place. So, I went to tea room, ordered tea so I can have some quite time. The room was empty. Great. Not for long. 5 mnts sitting here, the restaurant let 4 other ladies to eat lunch in this room! So all tables are packed and started become noisy too. Very dissapointed. Is this a spa??? I think the owner need to reevaluate this. Is it all about money? Please read "About Us" why this place was opened in the first place. Just so you know, it does't feel that way anymore.

I give this place a five star. I do six stars if I could this little Korean spa is amazing. They have several rooms the charcoal room assault room at reading room a children room, Meditation room, a cabin room and a mud and sage room. I think then they have several different pools from cold to hot hot and the scrub. I will tell everybody to book the scrub body scrub so so so so good top-tier A1 go there and get the scrub and then the day pass you'll thank me later. there's even a restaurant that has the yummy food and a tea room. Go try it out.

Ask the Community - Olympus Spa

    Plus size robes?

Yes! Our robes comfortably fit up to about a 3x, and we're happy to help find accommodations if you need a larger size.

Are men allowed to go here as well?

    No men inside the spa.

I'm a registered nurse and it would be great to take a group of my nurse friends here since we all could use some R&R. I read you're interested in women's physical health and it made me wonder if my co-ed (women and men) colleagues couldn't all come?

Their policy is it is women only.

    Do they provide sandals/slippers/flip flops?

    No.

Can you have tattoos? I was told I may not be allowed in because of them but was wondering if this was really a rule or a myth?

I am covered in tattoos and I've visited the spa several times. I've seen plenty of other ladies with tattoos too. Thus sounds like a made up lie! :(

How many towels do you get?

They give you a larger and a smaller towel but I've asked for an extra and they accommodate me without questions

For people who've been to both the Lynnwood and Tacoma locations- which is better?

    Is this a children's spa?

Not sure if they are allowed but I wouldn't suggest taking your children there - spa is meant for adults to relax in. I didn't see anyone bring their daughters when I was there.

It says on the website they provide you with a robe. If I am anplis sized woman will the robes for or should I bring my own? I'm a size 22?

I am a size 22 and the robe they gave me wa marked 5X. Plenty of room to wrap around. The bonnet was too small but they even have larger ones available.

Is this a clothing optional spa?

Yes. You are required to be completely naked in the pool areas. You can be wearing robes in the other areas (hot/cold/relaxation rooms)

    Is this facility transgender friendly?

No, and they are suing the Washington State Human Rights Commission who has issued them a notice that their policies are legally considered discrimination

Do you have to schedule to come in in advance or say I have a Tuesday open all of a sudden, can I walk in and be able to enjoy the spa?

Walk-ins are available just for the general day spa. If looking to book a service, you will have to do that 7 days in advance online. (Highly recommend)Calling in will get you booked quicker especially if you're looking into a Fri/Sat. Winter is… Read more

The price isn't bad, because you have access to amenities and a message. There's a NO bathing suits policy in the locker areas where you access the steam room, hot tub, pool and showers. So if you're shy/uncomfortable find another place. The Good: lots of amenities to access. Staff is attentive and open to solving issues when made aware and are generally nice. Quiet/meditative atmosphere. The Bad: THE MESSAGE: that little Korean woman beat the shit out of me. Lol. There is a form for you to complete that offer an opportunity to inform them about problem, areas, areas to avoid and etc. They completely ignored that. I received my massage on Tuesday and it's just now recovering from the pain on Saturday. Swedish vs deep tissues doesn't mean shit. I'm a chubby dinosaur, so I know a masseuse would look at me and think they would have to work harder to make an impact. That's just not how it works for me. And unfortunately the masseuse speaks little English so communicating your needs will not be possible. The more English speaking staff are at the front desk and the 1/2 individuals running around. Tips: communicate your needs for massage upfront when you pay so hopefully they are translated clear before you get to your massage. Bring your own towel. Be prepared to leave your American shyness at the door.

You will remove your shoes at the entrance and walk into the woman's locker/hot spring area. There are 2 hot water pools, 1 cold pool, an infrared sauna room, and a steam sauna room. Next to the pool, there are 2 spa areas for body scrub and massage. You will probably get the most extensive body scrub experience here, leaving with baby soft skin. The oil massage was a bit rough with the Korean auntie, but you will leave feeling relaxed. There is a snow room upstairs, and multiple hot rooms such as salt and charcoal rooms. There is also a Korean restaurant in the facility which was very convenient. Food was decent, a bit on the pricy side since the portion was small. Overall, it's a place where you can easily spend hours to relax, eat a nice meal, and go home feeling refreshed!

Recently I booked a massage online which was accepted and confirmed virtually. The day before the treatment, I received a call from their receptionist informing me that the therapist preferred 90 minute slots and asked if I would be willing to update my massage from 60 to 90 minutes. Otherwise they would need to reschedule me for another slot. Their other time did not work for me. While the receptionist was very friendly and polite, the reasoning that the therapists didn't want to have empty portions in their schedules felt like a bait and switch. Essentially, asking me to spend more money with the therapist to make my visit worthwhile for them. This was frustrating especially because I had already booked a 60 minute massage with upgrades. Receptionist stated this is a known issue with their online scheduling platform, which seems idiotic issue that should be fixed for a large franchise since it significantly impacts the customer experience. 1 Star - Very uncomfortable tipping experience…read more I have been a regular customer at this massage place and usually visit about twice a month. As someone who also works in the service industry, I understand how important tips are and I always tip fairly depending on the quality of service. In the past I have tipped anywhere between $15-$25. However, my most recent visit was extremely uncomfortable and disappointing. I booked a 90-minute massage that cost $115 after tax. When it came time to pay, I intended to leave a $20 tip, which would bring my total to $135. The payment machine actually showed multiple tip options including $20. However, the staff refused to allow me to select the $20 option. They insisted that the tip must be 30% or more, and pointed to a small note on the table that said 30% gratuity is "appreciated." They then attempted to add $30 to my bill without my agreement. This is very concerning for several reasons: * The 30% tip was never disclosed before the service started * It was not listed on the official menu or pricing * The payment machine still shows optional tip amounts but customers are not allowed to choose them * Staff attempted to force a higher tip after the service was already completed A gratuity is supposed to be voluntary unless a business clearly lists a mandatory service charge before the service begins. Posting a small note on the table and then pressuring customers at the payment terminal is not transparent and creates a very uncomfortable situation. As a loyal customer who has supported this business many times, I felt extremely disappointed by how this was handled. If a business wants to require a 30% service charge, it should clearly state that on the menu and inform customers before the service -- not pressure them at the register after the service is finished. Customers should be aware of this policy before visiting.
