I live down the street and have been here a dozen times. I've done the couples massage with my wife three times as well. It's a step above the average Asian massage parlor; it's got a clean, fantastic setup and vibe. As the name suggests they use hot stones as part of the $60 1 hour massage which is a nice feature. I see all the 1 star reviews very concerned about tipping. I don't think people should tell you how to tip, but I also feel like these workers earn their suggested 30% or whatever is posted. 1 Star - Very uncomfortable tipping experience I have been a regular customer at this massage place and usually visit about twice a month. As someone who also works in the service industry, I understand how important tips are and I always tip fairly depending on the quality of service. In the past I have tipped anywhere between $15-$25. However, my most recent visit was extremely uncomfortable and disappointing. I booked a 90-minute massage that cost $115 after tax. When it came time to pay, I intended to leave a $20 tip, which would bring my total to $135. The payment machine actually showed multiple tip options including $20. However, the staff refused to allow me to select the $20 option. They insisted that the tip must be 30% or more, and pointed to a small note on the table that said 30% gratuity is "appreciated." They then attempted to add $30 to my bill without my agreement. This is very concerning for several reasons: * The 30% tip was never disclosed before the service started * It was not listed on the official menu or pricing * The payment machine still shows optional tip amounts but customers are not allowed to choose them * Staff attempted to force a higher tip after the service was already completed A gratuity is supposed to be voluntary unless a business clearly lists a mandatory service charge before the service begins. Posting a small note on the table and then pressuring customers at the payment terminal is not transparent and creates a very uncomfortable situation. As a loyal customer who has supported this business many times, I felt extremely disappointed by how this was handled. If a business wants to require a 30% service charge, it should clearly state that on the menu and inform customers before the service -- not pressure them at the register after the service is finished. Customers should be aware of this policy before visiting. read more

I was unsure about trying this place out, ended up being a great experience. I have been back a few times now and Tom is the absolute best! I can't recommend him enough, you will not be disappointed. read more

The massage itself was amazing and Bella did an amazing job with the service she provided. It was the receptionist for me that has put me on the verge of coming back or not. She was quite rude and customer service was not amazing. read more

The name of this place has been calling to me since I first saw the signs appear, but covid and a lack of planning has kept me away. It does say that walk ins are welcome, but calling ahead of time may be the way to go. The price is pretty amazing at a 1$ a minute for a hot stone massage, seems you can choose from 30, 60 or 90 minutes. It looks really nice inside and there are private rooms which I really was not expecting. This is a true massage where you get naked and lotioned up, for some reason I was thinking it would be more like a foot massage place, but this is not the case. You may have the option to choose the gender of your masseuse if this is important to you. I was worried I might be a little cold with the thin sheet covering me while on the table, but my masseuse used some additional towels to help with that. I am often cold so a hot stone massage is pretty great to me, I love every opportunity to be warm. I also appreciated that they used a warm, wet towel to wipe the lotion off before I got dressed as this can also be annoying afterwards. I was surprised that even though I forgot to put my hair up, it was completely lotion free at the end thanks to the added towel which pushed it up off my neck. My partner enjoyed his massage as well. You can hear people in the various rooms, but if everyone is quiet it should be a nice relaxing experience. We will definitely be back. read more

Hot Stone Massage - Couple's room - Massage Near Me - Lynnwood, Washington

I brought my daughter in law for a special treatment and it was! I will be going back. The massage therapists were fantastic and professional. I feel great. Comfortable setting. read more

This was my second time here, I had a fantastic first experience which prompt me to return. Today was absolutely awful, the female I had was inconsistent, I asked for a specific location to be focus on and it was awful. It will take some real consideration if I will return and support this establishment. read more

I've had a number of massages at this location. I've found the location to be exceptionally clean and well managed. All of my massages have been exceptional regardless of the therapist. Prices are very reasonable (even with tip) when compared to other salons. read more

If you're searching for relaxation and a good laugh, Serenity Spa is the place to be! Upon entering, I was greeted by the soothing sounds of what felt like a nature documentary. I half-expected David Attenborough to narrate my journey to bliss! read more

I've come here a number of times over the past couple of years and always enjoy the one hour massages. I usually call ahead and they always have someone available no matter what time I ask for. They do offer walk-ins, too. I've had at least three different therapists and they all do a similar massage routine. My last one was today and he asked where I wanted focus and definitely worked out the knots in my shoulders and neck. Very skilled and consistent pressure. The charge is extra if using a credit card, but still much better pricing after tip compared to other places. Under $100 for a full body one hour massage! My aching back, shoulders, and legs (which I didn't realize were sore) are much more relaxed now. Thank you! read more

Super clean place and super friendly staff! We did a 60-min couples massage for $140 and it was AMAZING. Request Bella she'll find knots you didn't even know existed. You know that song "In the Arms of an Angel"? Yeah, that was me fully melted into the table. They finish with a face and hand massage, and I nearly fell asleep. Next time we're doing 2 hours! And to those saying there's pressure to tip-nope. If someone fixes your back and soul at the same time, 25-30% is just common sense. read more

I recommend an 1 1/2 hour appt. to allow your therapist time to work on areas needing extra attention. The combination of hot stone and massage was incredibly soothing, and I felt all my stress and tension melting away. Therapist Sally is incredible and she will find your problem areas without saying a word. Overall, I would highly recommend hot stone massage to anyone looking for a relaxing and rejuvenating spa experience. I have been a customer for over two years. It's the perfect way to unwind and pamper yourself, and I can't wait to book my next appointment! read more

BEST VALENTINE'S DAY EVER!!! My Husband and I wanted to do something different for Valentine's Day this year, so we booked ourselves each a massage. This place did not disappoint. My Masseuse was Luna, and she was very attentive to my requests. The Hot Stones were worked in to the Massage hour perfectly. Soothing and perfectly toasty on these cold days we have been having. I would love to return sometime soon. I asked my Husband about his Massage, and he said he was so relaxed he fell asleep. We were both happy customers. I think their prices are reasonable, and the place was beautiful and clean. Best place I have ever been to. read more

Luna is amazing! Actually I have never really had a bad massage. The owners are equally amazing. This is the only place I will go nowadays.

I've had consistently pretty good experiences at this place. They do a great job with the hot stone massages, and I always leave feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. The location is off the free way in a busy area, so there's often some interesting activity going on around it, which can make it a little harder to fully unwind. However, the quality of the massage is always solid, the prices are reasonable, and it's easy to get an appointment last minute, which is a big plus. Overall, it's a great spot for a quick and effective massage. read more

Highly recommend esp sports deep tissue work. Clean friendly place and know this isn't high-end day spa treatment establishment. Had a wonderful 90 minute massage with Lina. She identified and worked out all the tight knots in my upper back and shoulders. Never had hot stones before and highly recommend very soothing and helpful with the massage. Already set up another session in a few weeks! read more

We have been coming here for the 90 minute couples massage consistently for over two years. Hot Stone massage is part of our every other week self care routine! We love it. I've had a terrible knot for the past few days and after our massage it's so much better! The ambiance is private, clean, and gentle. And it's definitely a place we'll be coming to often read more

Finding your masseuse is like finding a nail artist- it's going to take some time to find the perfect one for you, but when you do, get her name and don't lose her. You'd pay upwards of $115-300 for a one hour massage anywhere outside of these foot massages so don't be surprised when you're encouraged to tip more than $10 on top of $60..... you're still paying a lot less than you would anywhere else. So if you're not willing to tip $25-30 then maybe you shouldn't get a massage. I've received amazing customer service and massages everytime I've come here. They're always able to get me in with the times I ask for. read more

When in for a couples massage. Was my first time ever getting a massage. We went with the hot stone and cupping. It was very relaxing and the music was very soothing! A hour well spent!! read more

The place was nice enough. Massage was okay. If you pay cash $60 for 60 minutes. I went a few times and the massage was the same every time even when I asked for focus in different areas. The really terrible part was when paying cash(&tip) I was asked if I could leave more tip! Extremely rude and off putting. They have a sign that asks for 30% tip. At that price I can get a massage from a licensed and trained therapist. Better off getting a reflexology massage elsewhere. read more

I had a full body massage here today with my husband. The male masseur with glasses was able to accurately help me with the pain areas and helped me use CBD oil to relieve the tension in my back muscles. I think I will try cupping next time. It's a clean place and I will be back soon. read more

Hot Stone Massage - Massage Near Me - Lynnwood, Washington

Had a great massage with Coco about a week ago. I've been in the Lynnwood area for about 6 weeks now on business from San Diego. I usually get a massage every two weeks in SD so I was long overdue. Being the tall, dark, and muscular guy that I am (lol), I usually need a strong Thai-type massage with some stretching. Coco was able to give me the Hot Stone Massage that I needed. I will be going back soon before I head back to San Diego. read more

This practice offers a clean, comfortable environment and a quality massage. However, There is a high-pressure tipping atmosphere and my take is the expectation is 30%! I tipped 20% and the therapist was visibly distraught and disappointed. This completely distracted from what is supposed to be a relaxing, enjoyable experience. I would offer that tipping is at the discretion of the customer, and 20% is the norm for excellent service. Because of this negative tipping vibe I no longer frequent this practice. read more

Hot Stone Massage is amazing!!! I have been here a number of times and I always leave feeling like I have a new back and neck. I went in today with a lot of knots in my back and neck. I was very uncomfortable and had a lot of tightness. What an excellent job Jason did working out all those issues. I nearly fell asleep on the massage table I was so relaxed. One thing I really liked was that it was quiet. I do not like going to a place where there is a lot of talking in the background. I want to get a massage in a relaxing environment, not a chatty retail setting. I want to feel like I can drift off into waterfalls and dreamland. If you are looking for a great massage I highly recommend Hot Stone Massage. read more

The massage was just ok, nothing special. When I went to pay is where I had issues. $60 was I bill, $10 tip, I paid with a $100. I was told I had to leave more of a tip. When I said 10 was enough I was told not to come back. If she was nice about it maybe I would have given more but I shouldn't be threatened to give more then a 16% tip for a mediocre massage. read more

Same experience as what ppl mentioned. Massage was okay, $60/60mis, then when we paid with cash, they mandatory 30% tips. We tips more then $10 already and we out of cash. The woman at reception keeps point at the 30% suggestion paper. And don't want let us go. That is ridiculous. I asked politely this is suggestion right? She replied me so rude like okay, you don't have money. Fine. As a customer, tips is being appreciated for the service. The service is okay, but not perfect yet. I did ask the specify spot to massage, but the massage person not quite do it. I would say this is normal service. I paid for more than $10 tips is good enough for the service. The way you all try to rob the customer is WRONG. That is not the way treat customer. It called ROB. So many nicer massage place around them with less cost and better service. Don't come this place to let them ROB your money. I figured why they didn't have big sign to present their massage place now. The Hot Stone sign being small and not even be recognized. read more

I have been there at least 10 times now. Always feel so welcome when I walk in. The BEST 90 mins full body massages I have ever had. I plan on coming back over and over. Just writing this has me ready to go back again today! read more

Loved this place I keep meaning to come back! the hot stone massage was so good! The lady who had been with was very respectful and did amazing work on my back! I usually have some pain time to time so finding a reasonable priced place with amazing service is hard to come by! Please stop by this place when in need of a clean atmosphere and quality massage! read more

The massages are great. I don't recommend the sharp elbow along the shoulder blade. I do recommend Jason. I would've given 4 stars, but I was charged 10% for using my debit card last time, like I always have without a fee in the past. There is also a sign on the counter stating a 30% tip is recommended. $90 for a 90 minute massage is a good deal, but if you add the $36 fee and expected tip, maybe it's like everywhere else? Bring cash. read more

Today's massage literally changed my life: I've had many massages and this is the best and most affordable massage in the area. Their technique is is not painful but will get your knots out. The hot stone component is just icing on the cake! They literally used the stones for massage. The setting is not as fancy as higher end places but it's is peaceful. I will definitely be coming back regularly and bringing friends and family. Thank you for such an amazing experience. read more

I've been either two or three times now. I work a job where I use my arms to throw a lot of freight. I'm a tall guy and often find that I'm hard to massage because of my height and build. Every time I go I get the best massages. I usually get the 60 minute massage and it's worth it every time. I took my partner and we got a couples massage as well. She enjoyed the massage and wants to go back. The masseuse are very professional and the place is warmly lit and very clean. Soft music plays. The first time I went I wasn't certain about whether I should wear my boxers or not and so I did. But being very professional they just worked around them. Now I'm a bit more comfortable and each time I've been they have been very professional. No "funny business" I felt very comfortable and safe going and would definitely recommend read more

Very clean and very good. They use hot stone and hot towel. Really recommended. Also very friendly.
