I love this place! I have had many massages over many years, costing much more money, with varying results. Although the staff here can vary in skill level, I have never left feeling disappointed. In fact, most of the time I am delighted with the service. Special kudos to Lee and to Nina. I like that I get a full hour treatment rather than 50 minutes, and that I don't have to undress and then feel sticky afterwards because of massage oil or lotion. I get to choose the intensity level and speed of the service. And I particularly enjoy the uniform structure of the massage. I like to go just before I have Chiropractic treatment because the adjustments are so much easier. Maybe best of all, I can go anytime, when I am most in need of a massage. He even asked me to come up to the counter to check which therapist I prefer and I told him that the 3 that I usually get are no longer listed. A large, clean and professional massage parlor in Seattle. They only take walk-in, but you simply sign in at the front desk and write down what type of massage you want, how long, and even what strength and speed you're looking for. The place filled up on a sunday afternoon and I had to wait 10 min before my turn but it's worth the wait. I opted for the 60 min combination of 30min feet and 30 min body ($45 pre tip). A really great massage! I did 60 minutes and the pressure and speed were perfect like 95% of the time. This is a place where you a massaged in a large room. You stay face down and they put a sheet over you. You leave your clothes on, so I'd recommend loose, lightweight clothing for the best experience. The room was fairly quiet but if noises bother you, you mind want to bring some ear plugs. The staff don't speak much English, so use a translation app on your phone and set it to Chinese. They give you a bottle of water as well. There is a $2 fee for using a credit card, but the prices are so good for what you get I had no issue paying it. Will definitely be back. read more

It starts by having a foot massage in ambiance is a slightly darkened room, soft music, plush chair and a relaxing video playing in the background. The start of the foot massage is with a hot water soak, then onto the foot rub which is fantastic. The massage focuses a lot on the arches and toes. I have been having a lot of heel pain and this massage works wonders for me. This time the massues that was obviously I'll was not there and everyone around me seemed to be enjoying their time there. However they wanted us to lay down in the middle of the room with all of her clothes on. The tables are all set together with a type of fence around each area. So I just had to come on and say it's a wonderful business however if you're looking for an oil massage you will not find it at this location. I have been going there for a while and there are some services I avoid. For example laying face down on the massage table is so uncomfortable. My face hurts the whole time. Those tables are not comfortable. I tried the massage chair and is bit more tolerable if the chair is no lose or shaky. No one speaks English. Not even basic words. I don't know if they additionally pretend not to speak a word so you contend with what they offer instead of the back and forth. Highly questionable not to have at least one who speaks English. It does not matter what preference you specify when you sign in. For instance: intensity or speed. Makes no difference. I chose the highest intensity and the guy just does his thing however he likes. Of course, they don't speak English so don't bother to explain mid session. You are there to relax and not play the sign language game. I would still go there once in a while if I feel ok losing/gambling some money in return for a gamble of somewhat a reflexology or massage session. They are not consistent and clearly don't like their jobs. Just observe how they eye each others; you can smell dishonesty in the air. It sucks to give the, the pleasure to mock westerners like that. It was a lovely foot massage and totally worth the price. $45 for a 60 minutes (wear pants you can pull up to about your knees if possible). You walk in, sign up for your desired experience and depending on capacity, you wait in the front area or you may be immediately seated in your station. As a larger bodied person, the seating for foot massage is comfortable and they do not have armrests. Green flag for body inclusivity. They gave me a warm towel to blanket myself with while i soaked my feet. Took me a moment to adjust to the open setting but oh man, I requested a 4 for intensity and i swear they broke through stress in my feet that I didn't even know that i was holding on to. Great value. Not many places will just do 20 minutes for a reasonable price, but that's what I prefer. I mostly just want my neck & shoulders worked on, so I just get a chair massage. I'd rather spend my $ to go more often than on one long massage where they work on muscles that I don't need worked on. Even though they don't speak much English, they're experts at the language of your muscles & bones. They have you circle the intensity & speed you want. I usually go with 4 & that's pretty intense for working out the knots. They offer bottled water after your massage (which is important to get the juices flowing after all that stress is relieved.) They are open late (10pm.) I just walk in & I've never had to wait too long. That area of Bothell is great, so you can pair a massage with dinner at Amaro nearby or any of the other fun restaurants. Parking is pretty easy to find around there too. I just went again on a Saturday night & parked in the next block. Oh & remember to bring cash if you can for a slight discount. read more

This is EXACTLY what I needed after a super stressful work day. I wasn't sure what to expect and was a little apprehensive since I usually always go to franchised massage places. I'm so glad I came here though. There was no wait and they take you right back. You stay clothed and they place a sheet over your body and will do whatever pressure you'd like. Everything is open so there are others getting massages around you but honestly it wasn't too bad and that's coming from an anxious person. This is my favorite place! I love that I can just walk in and get a massage whenever it works best for me. Literally you cannot beat the price anywhere. It may not be as extensive as the private rooms at other places with the massage oil and everything. This is a basic massage--that you can keep your clothes on and they just place towel over the top. They have table, chair or foot massage, or a combo. I usually do the table, although I have gotten the combo with table and feet. You mark off what you want on the sign in sheet, along with the pressure you prefer. They do not speak much English--but they are all so very nice and the language barrier has never been an issue for me. They always make me feel very welcome. Very professional too. I have been here twice so far and plan to go back! If you're familiar with reflexology massage places, you'll enjoy this experience. The ambiance is better than many places I've been and they had a good amount of staff working both times I was there. There isn't a lot of verbal communication, but they do have a form for you to fill out when you arrive where you can indicate desired speed and strength. I do think there is quite a bit of variety in how each masseuse defines the numbers, though. The first massage I got was full body and I marked 1-2 in strength (out of 7) because I had a bad experience *at a different place* and didn't want to get bruised again haha. But I had to ask him a couple of times to go softer because he was really digging in. I don't recall his name, but it started with Wa. This isn't to get him in trouble because he did a good job, it was just too strong for my liking. He did understand and was careful of my knee when I told him it was injured. He'd probably be a great option if you like deep tissue! The second time I went I just did a foot massage and marked a 2. I ended up telling the gentleman, Chen, that he can do it a little harder. He smiled and held up a 3 (as to say next time ask for a 3). He did a great job and that level was just right to be effective but enjoyable. So it may take a little trial and error to find your favorite masseuse and strength level, but all it all, it's a great deal that will allow you to get the benefits of massage without the hefty price tag! read more

I am glad their full body massage is fully clothed & out in the open, though I have never felt uncomfortable with any of their workers. I've been to a lot of fancy massage places (I love massages!) like Gene Juarez, Yuan Spa, etc., and I always leave a bit disappointed in the quality of massage for the price (usually about $150). I came here and was seen immediately (I believe his name was Jason). There's a screen next to the check in to show you everyone working that day and they are available or with another client and how long they have left for that service . You fill out a little sheet with your name, what you what, length of service and speed/pressure. I chose "slow" and a pressure of 5. The massage was fantastic. You keep your clothes on and are in a mini room type of thing but with no walls. No one talks and there's nice music playing and a water fountain so I really didn't even notice that I wasn't in a private room. The full body massage was $39 (plus $1 for using a credit/debit card) plus tip. When I checked out, he gave me a sheet with a coupon for $5 off my next visit as well as a water bottle. It's been a while since I've had a Chinese foot massage. Have been eyeing this place since it's somewhat close to me and finally stopped by for my first try after going bowling today. Got there around 6 on a Sunday night and they weren't busy. I got greeted by the guy (#211, I didn't catch his name) at the desk right away. He asked which type I wanted, then pointed me to the sheet for me to fill out and list my preference. There's definitely a language barrier but there are various signs around and with enough pointing, you'll get through check in just fine. The place is nice and clean. Dimly lit with soothing music playing loud enough to drown out the occasional talking (usually is to ask the client if the strength is ok, and I bet it'd work great to drown out any snoring too), but not so loud that it's distracting. The area is also pretty roomy - chairs nicely spaces and massage tables are separated by open wooden slats. It gives you a slight sense of privacy and safety at the same time. I chose the 60 min combo. #211 led me to the massage table first. That's different from the other places I've been where you get everything done at the chair. I really liked that cuz I think the massage is better on the table, plus you don't have to hear the squeaky chairs the whole time. #211 asked if his strength was ok at the beginning but continued to check in every once in a while to make sure I'm still ok. After 30 min, we moved over to the chair where I soaked my feet and then got the foot massage. #211 was friendly, attentive, and gave the massage that I needed with the perfect amount of strength to work on my sore muscles but didn't make it painful. By the time I left at 7, there was someone waiting, but I think she only had a short wait. If you have a bigger party with you (3+), you might want to call ahead since they might not have enough staff. Overall, I think this was one of the better foot massage places I've been to in the greater Seattle area. I'll definitely be back. On my way out, I saw that they have a buy 5 get 1 free deal. Might just sign up for it next time if my second massage is also consistently good. read more

I came here as a recommendation from a friend and it did not disappoint. I noticed that most of the employees spoke mandarin and only one employee spoke a little bit of English. I was unable to communicate with them since I speak Cantonese but the language barrier wasn't a problem at all. If you have a preference and want to communicate something, I would recommend using google translate to minimize miscommunication. The staff here seems really nice and it seems like the language barrier could be causing some issues in some other reviews. When you get in, there is a sign in sheet that will take your name, preferred masseuse, what type of massage you want, and customizations like pressure and speed. It was my first time there and I asked for a female masseuse named Alma. She was very friendly and smiley which made me feel at ease. I didn't give her any instruction and let her do her thing. She got all my trouble areas which are my shoulders and hips. I sit at the computer all day and didn't realize how tight my muscles were. I felt so much better after the session.
