I've been coming here for many years now. My only disappointment is that I live in West Seattle and can't come more often! I love the deep Massage that both the men give here. They also have a female if you wish. Chinese massage is more aggressive, repetitive movements and I would say more therapeutic. I see some people give bad reviews here that maybe didn't quite know what they signed up for. If you like soft strokes and slow and gliding massage then this is not for you. But if you like getting those muscles moved, worked good..... this is your place! Very good value too! PS. They work hard and do deserve a tip. It's customary to tip service personal. This was my second visit, and unfortunately, it was a terrible experience. My first visit was much better, which is why I decided to return--the massage was great the first time. However, this time was completely different. The pressure was far too intense, and despite asking the therapist to go softer, it still hurt. His technique was the issue--he applied hard, fast, repetitive pressure in the same areas, making the experience painful rather than relaxing. Now, a day later, I'm in even more pain than before my appointment. My back feels worse, my skin is sore to the touch, and I even have bruising. I typically tolerate deep pressure well, but this was beyond that. Sadly, I won't be returning. If you do want to try it out, I'd request a female technician. read more

This was my first time here after walking by for years and I was impressed. I did Package D, which was a 60-minute foot massage and a 60-minute body massage. The foot massage takes place in a large recliner while clothed - definitely wear loose, light clothing you can pull above the knees and elbows for this portion. There was a face, neck and arm component in addition to the main foot/leg massage. Afterward, we moved to a private room for the more traditional body massage. I wasn't given a choice of gender for the body massage but I'm sure you could ask if you have a strong preference. The masseuse used very deep pressure, which was perfect for me, and did ask several times if the pressure was acceptable. There was lots of stretching as well, which was great, as I do a lot of weight lifting. I paid in cash and left a generous and well-deserved tip and cannot wait to go back. There is certainly ambient noise from the location in a busy suburban strip mall but it didn't bother me during the foot massage and was hardly audible during the body massage portion. read more

Went for 60 minute hot stone massage. On line booking is easy I called later to ask to move appt back an hour and woman who answered the phone was easy to work with. Place is typical sort of Asian minimalist massage place. Clean. Walls were thin in room for massage so I could hear ppl talking and moving chairs outside. Pretty typical massage--except very "fast". Not that they shorted me in time (got full 60 minutes)1-the movements were just the fastest I'd ever had. The best I could describe was as "vigorous" and almost felt like I was a car being worked on rather than a more relaxing massage--and this is even with my preference being more for firmer/dee tissue pressure. The stone portion was very brief but the highlight of the massage. Would recommend it--esp it is with no extra cost. read more

Went to sole relax for the first time with a friend. We were greeted on time and started our massage without a wait. The room and reclining chairs were clean, the staff were professional. There were other chairs in the room but we were the only ones there. The massage was enjoyable. We did foot and head massage, which also included some neck and shoulder massage, while seated and reclined. This isn't like the massages I get for injury or recovery but it's enjoyable. I'm back in the market for a monthly foot and body massage place and came across this gem. PROS: very responsive, fast appointments with flexible hours, very affordable and great location. Top reason to go? Their massage is terrific! They are well trained, polite and always ask if you're doing okay with the pressure point. They are thorough when it comes to paying attention to your muscles and will not rush to get it done. Their website says walk-ins welcomed, so I asked what massage service was available now. Instead the front desk person handed me a card to make an appointment. I've been getting regular pricey massages every six weeks for awhile now to put my back in place. Working at a desk has seriously given me horrible posture and back pain. Sooo, when looking up a conveyor belt sushi spot, I was shocked to find one of these foot massage places that also did back massages. I figured- why not give it a try? And, boy am I glad I did. For $40, you can get Combo A which is a 30 min foot and 30 min back massage. My mind was blown. It's a little less spa relaxing mode and a little more let's put your back where it's supposed to be and work out all those kinks. But, this is exactly what I needed to help make me feel so much better. It's a bit far for me from the city but totally worth the drive out to Kirkland. Parking can be tough but I've always had pretty good luck finding something in the small shopping area. read more

I've been vacillating back-and-forth between this place and Joy Spa, just down the road. Lately Sole Relax, in their new location just around the corner in Juanita Village, has been a welcome change. The place is small, but not too small. It suffers from similar issues that all Asian foot massage places suffer from; namely keeping things quiet, peaceful and serene. There can sometimes can be un-hushed voices, and the sound of the front door opening, etc. but no more than any other shop. That said, I've had really several excellent foot and back massages here recently, and have worked with Peter twice now, with good results. I do the 60 minute foot/back massage, which encompasses a bonus of the most amazing head rub, (my fav), neck and shoulders, and then feet, followed by 30 minutes in one of the small massage rooms where your back and neck and legs and arms are pummeled into sweet jelly. During the chair (actually a reveling couch/chair), my feet were soaked in a bamboo tub and then rubbed and squeezed on the pressure points in a most heavenly way. Ladies, be aware that if you go for the back massage in the rooms, you may leave on any clothing you would like under the covers, but you are welcome to take off some layers. I've never had anything uncomfortable happen, and I leave my yoga pants on and take my shirt off, to get the full effect of the oil and backrub. I usually do their 60 min hot stone massage. They do a fantastic job. The issue I have is the appointments for the masage. I make them to reserve the spot and I go in and they said they can't do it. This happened to me twice. The person making the appointment overbooks it and the people that work there always end up calling the person in charge because they can't fit me in. One time they could made a mistake but twice I don't call that a mistake but a poor management. read more

3.5 From a bang for buck perspective, I think Sole Relax is the place to go for a massage. They have a great deal 30 min foot 30 minute body for 40 bucks. You pay a bit more for card and don't forget tip. This establishment only employs men FYI but they are very nice and really work out the kinks in your body. For above combo, you start out with your feet in warm water and get a head and shoulder massage. Afterwards your feet and legs are worked on and then you follow the masseuse to a room for the table portion. I have to say I'm a bit sore after my session but I haven't gotten a massage in 4 years. One thing I'm not a fan of is getting up from the nice couch and walking barefoot to the rooms in the back. It is what it is. From a value perspective it's definitely hard to beat read more

A couple of girlfriends and I decided that it was a good idea to make an appointment here after grabbing some sushi and the spa appeared to be very clean and properly spaced out according to COVID protocols. I love this place and visit at least once a month. For less than $40 you get an hour of skilled massage. There's no disrobing for the foot massage (except your feet). You sit with your feet soaking while a massage therapist starts with your scalp, neck, shoulders and each arm down to the wrist. Then the reflexology - the soles of your feet will be expertly treated to stimulate the pressure points that stimulate health and healing. Even if you don't believe in this healing modality it will feel amazing. Next you turn over for a great back massage. There's many advantages to this treatment over the full robe and slippers treatment at luxury spas - you can get a session on short notice, you're in and out quickly and can afford to tip generously - and should! read more

I have several massages here, for several years. Some are good, others not so. Either too hard, or not where I want the massage concentrated. However, given the pricing, I was OK with the hit or miss service. But, I will never again return, as when I paid my bill, the masseuse tried to shake me down for a bigger tip! He should me a paper stating that a good tip for a one hour massage was $10-15! I only had a 30 minute chair massage, and frankly he used his elbows almost the entire time! Certainly not the best massage I've had there. He kept going on about small tip, even in front of another potential customer. I finally had to run out the door, or who knows what he would have done! Wanted a decent massage for an even more decent price. I messaged these guys and they texted back super fast. $55 for a total body massage for 60 minutes? I'll drive 32 minutes for that. Place was dimly lit and someone was getting a chair massage right in the middle of the hallway. I had some questions about the oils and lotions they used because I have sensitive skin and they were very accommodating. The masseuse was a nice fella who never introduced himself but was nice in asking if he was pressing too hard a couple times and even used a couple hot stones on me. :) He was good but my feet were cold the whole time. I would have loved a little warm blankie on my feet but hey, $55 for an hour..got to pick your battles. When I was leaving, I passed by a room full of people getting massages and the chairs in the hallway were all taken. Seems this spot is pretty popular. Check them out. :) read more

This place is a no-nonsense deep tissue and foot massage place. If you are looking for a mood-altering, soul-elevating, tea tree/lavender/mint scented spa, this is definitely not it. I've frequented this place about a dozen times and even recommended my coworkers to try them out. All the tensions of my neck, back, and feet are massaged away each time I visit them. They are professionals at what they do. The only negative that I see (and it's really not their fault) is that depending on the time of day you go, the crossfit gym right next door would blast bass-thumping music (think of it as the idiot car in the parking lot with loud annoying music). read more
