    Southwest Burger

We enjoy a good dive bar and Hardtails didn't disappoint! So much that we went back the next day. It's away from the tourist hub bub main street. Tami, the bartender, greeted us as we walked in; made us good drinks. We shared the Outlaw Burger the first day .... it is a feast and Laurie (sp?), the chef, nailed it to perfection. Second day, we shared the new Southwest burger and again, delicious! Both days the chef came out to see how our food was ... very attentive. Met the new owner, Marvin, too; nice guy. Our only complaint was getting charged for little cups of sauce to go with our tots ... sauce should be complimentary. We will definitely roll into this bar again.

Cool place with huge outdoor area. Inside it was kind of cool with plexiglass between the video poker/slot machines. Good service and biker bar kind of place. Good selection of beers on tap. The service seemed ok too. I will come back next time I am in town.

Resting up for another exciting night to be had!

Since most restaurants in Sisters turn out the lights around 9, Hardtails is the place to go if you're not quite ready to call it a night, or need to grab a late bite to eat. It's probably the most lively of the bars in town, if you're in the mood for a more social atmosphere. They've also got a full menu and minors are allowed until 9pm. Before you start dogging them on their food - come on folks - it's a bar and you're going to get your typical bar food! They have two pool tables and a juke box, and weekly live music and karaoke. There's a fenced yard with tables on the side, if you'd prefer to drink your beverage outdoors or puff on your cancer sticks. There's not much nightlife in Sisters, but HT's is the place to be for the most social and lively bar, after the rest of the town has rolled up the welcome mat for the night.

    Burger and crispy tots.

Can't miss a visit to Sisters without several trips to Hardtails for cocktails, games, banter and friendly characters everywhere.

The food was mediocre at best, the waitress/ bartender was rude. And to top it all off the tweaker out front

This is a great greasy spoon. It's clean inside, good tunes and pool tables. Just what it should be. Good prices.

Update review. We keep getting a male server who is stressed out and impatient. Makes us feel…read morerushed. Acts like he's a great waiter and like we're unworthy customers. He sweats and pushes us to order and eat fast, doing that waiter thing when they pretend they are not rushing you. "Just checking if you need that plate taken away." Not fooling anyone. Brusque to my brother who is into fine wines and requested tastes of some by-the-glass wines before committing to a glass or a bottle. My wife stated she is uncomfortable around the server. We don't go to the Open Door much now. Old review. A real romantic spot. Great drinks. My wife loves it. Sitting outside is best but the bar is good too. Some nights they put tables in the art gallery out front and you sit around the paintings and jewelry, kind of fun. There used to be a waitress named Kristen or Kirsten, a lady with long hair and clogs, the best server I've ever had and I don't just mean in Central Oregon. The Open Door is the probably the best dining experience in Sisters. Living in Tumalo and working throughout Oregon, I go to Sisters often. Unfortunately Sisters isn't a great town for food. The Open Door has some very-good food, and some pretty-good food. You never know which it's going to be. The halibut, meatballs, and lasagnas are solid. Berries and cream dessert is great. The menu doesn't change much over the years. If my wife didn't love it I wouldn't go back so often. Get bored eating the same dishes over and over. When my brother and his grown kids visit they like the atmosphere, especially those small houses outside with the plants. However they have trouble finding a selection that works for their way of eating, allergies, one is vegan and one is lactose intolerant.

The ambiance is absolutely beautiful--outdoor seating with a warm, sunny breeze, relaxing music,…read moreand plenty of flowers to admire. The vibe was peaceful and inviting, making it the perfect spot to unwind. Service was attentive, though a bit on the slower side, we waited almost an hour for the main course. They do have a kitchen break between 3:30-4:30 PM, and I'd recommend making a reservation if you're planning to visit during peak hours. The food was fresh, flavorful, and creatively presented--it's clear the chef enjoys experimenting with unique flavor combinations. My husband tried the seafood lasagna, which was a tasty and satisfying treat. The scallops dish was also delicious, though slightly too salty for my taste and quite light--it came with a small amount of polenta and a vegetable purée, so I found myself a bit hungry afterward. Many people around us were ordering pasta, and it looked fantastic--definitely something I'd love to try next time. Overall, a beautiful place with great food and a memorable atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Eurosports is a must-visit on any trip to Sisters. This was my second trip to Sisters in two years,…read moreand (thus) my second trip to Eurosports. This time, it was on the eve of the famous Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show, so the beer garden was full of lively sewists enjoying some brews and live music. They had a couple of food trucks on-site, too, although the lines were long so I just enjoyed a beer (or two) and went on my merry way. The staff here were friendly, and the beer-on-tap selection, while not huge, had plenty of variety and I was able to find a nice, cold amber ale that I enjoyed immensely in the warm summer hear. Bonus: if you need some bike supplies, they've got those too!

Eurosport Bike Shop is so much more than just a bike shop!…read more My husband and I have become regulars at their Thursday trivia nights and Friday live music--both are such a blast. The vibe is always welcoming and fun, and the food carts on-site are consistently delicious. Plus, the Eurosport staff serve up great beverages with genuine friendliness. Yes, they do rent and sell bikes (and do it well). We've purchased a bike from them that we absolutely love, and they've also helped us get one of our older bikes road-ready again. Their service is knowledgeable, thorough, and never pushy. Honestly, even if you're not a cyclist, Eurosport is still worth a visit. Between the entertainment, food, drinks, and awesome community atmosphere, there's something here for everyone. Highly recommend checking it out!
