Rock On!!
Eddie C.

My bucket list is to attempt to visit all HRC locations!! So, I'm now crossing off Cancun location! I'm a fan of the franchise and history of the music. I've been to over 50 HRC and each one is different. I don't put much emphasis on rating their food versus legitimacy of the restaurant, I view the establishment as a museum with choices to drink and eat reasonably. It's only a matter of time before Planet Hollywood closes its doors ending the silly "copycat" attempt at HRC.

I would definitely skip this place . Let me tell you why Pros: Friendly service Outside seating overlooking the beach Unfortunately that's where all the pros end. Cons: The food was bland and reheated. I ordered a combo appetizer with chicken tenders , southwestern egg rolls , onion rings , toast with bruschetta and hot wings . The "toast" had toaster marks but was soft and soggy no crunch at all. The chicken tenders were crunch but absolutely no flavor at all . I also ordered a milkshake that came out room temperature. The staff was very nice and polite but the food would be much better if it was made fresh and some kind of seasoning . If your looking for American food in Cancun skip this place all together it's not worth the money you will spend.

Came in for dinner as had a discount coupon. We were seated straight away which was great but everything else was disappointing. Ordered drinks I got a diet coke in a can which was warm. For our meal we had the chicken quesadilla which was cooked well and nachos. The nachos was very disappointing hardly Ny topping on them. The air conditioner was hardly working, the wifi didnt work at all. The waiter was abrupt with us and had to do the tip while he was looking at us which we found quite rude. Also had to ask for a receipt.

Steak tastes weird and ranch dressing for salad tasted bad, shake tastes strange I was hoping for American tasting food and not the case, host was very friendly and staff was but food is crap and overpriced. I've been to many Hard Rock's in different countries and in Florida and I will say this is the worst one I've ever been to not sure about the stay here I see the reviews are good as far as staying at the hotel I'm sure that's good but the food experience not good. Waiter came to the table with my salad but without my dressing I had to ask another waiter for it although my waiter is pleasant they're not on it here. Cesar the hostess was great!

Don't come here. Just don't do it. Unless you want really good onion rings because they're really good. But just do that then leave.

In the past this place has always been a staple for us, but each year we go we like it a little less. This year majority of the group was disappointed in the entire experience from the service to the food. To start, the service was lacking compared to what we get at other local restaurants nearby. Our servers did not frequently come back to ask if we needed anything and we were constantly having to ask to get our waters refilled. The drinks are good, but nothing we can't get elsewhere. Half of our group enjoyed (but not loved) their food and half did not enjoy. My SO and I split the al pastor meal. In the past we have loved this, but this time it felt like they rushed to make it and the flavors we remembered just weren't there. It was still good, but I think it could have been better. I do love the churro cart here, but you can get good churros several other places. Overall, this place has gone downhill in our opinion, and for the price it isn't worth it when there so many better options close by. I'm sure we will be back, but I think we might skip a year stopping here.

You will pass through a metal detector and asked if you are carrying in any food or drinks ( not allowed) EVENT SPACES: The groom had reserved two private cabanas overlooking a semi private pool just steps from the beach. There was ample shade provided by sturdy patio III umbrellas, private casitas, each seating 10 adults. ATMOSPHERE: Common areas are look tired in the day light. I'm sure that the flaws are masked by the pool lights once the sun sets. Our private party was at the far end of the club; a 10x14' pool flanked by patio furniture in one side and 5 private cabanas on the other. The cabanas were set up living room style with a sofa, coffee table and cabinets for personal belongings. The view from one of the casitas was oceanfront making a lovely backdrop for photos. The music was obnoxiously loud most of the time with pounding bass. Our crowd was celebrating the Grooms and they a great time. In our case, the grooms were running a tab- open bar and order from an extensive bar menu. FOOD: Well presented and the guests seemed to enjoy it. My allergies were an obstacle to most of the menu, but I enjoyed the fruit OUR SERVERS were amazing. Taking orders and finding the guests was like wrangling cats but somehow they did an amazing job. This please is really suited for a 25-40 year old crowd. You know: the clubbing set. Would I recommend it for an older group? No. Was the event successful? The grooms were pleased, so we were also.

This is wild- it's part disco, part dance club, part show. It's open bar. But all the drinks are pretty bad. The beer- Tecate Light poured from caguamas. I'd never heard of the rotgut tequila. You apparently have the option to get a bottle and a table for a few thousand pesos. Party next door for warmup at the Oxxo or Senior Frog's. The staff were all friendly, and acted like they loved their job, and had seen it all. My favorite thing was that the urinals were in the shape of mouths. The decor is amazing. The shows were fantastic. I had an amazing time. I can't wait to go back! Once inside, we encountered further issues, including bartenders attempting to charge us for drinks that were clearly included in the package, which felt misleading and unprofessional. More troubling, however, was the lack of safety and staff responsiveness. My sister was repeatedly harassed by another guest, who persistently kicked her seat and attempted to provoke a confrontation. Despite this ongoing behavior, no staff intervention occurred. The situation escalated when the individual poured a cocktail on my sister--only at that point did security step in. This delayed response created an uncomfortable and unsafe environment, which is unacceptable for any venue, especially one offering a paid experience. Guests should never feel at risk or unsupported in such situations. To add to the frustration, our return transportation was also delayed, as the driver arrived late. Overall, the combination of disorganization, questionable practices, and lack of adequate security made this a highly unpleasant experience. I would not recommend this venue based on our visit.

While I do wish they played a tad more reggaeton, they do classify as being a "top 40" club and the DJ lived up to that by playing a perfect blend of 120+ BPM pop, EDM, hip hop and Latin music. We got there about 10:40 and I guess they still hadn't open yet so Diego walked us straight into La Vaquita to get us a drink while we waited. Once Dady'O opened he walked us directly inside and hooked us up with a table! This wasn't included in our basic open bar tickets, but we weren't complaining! It was definitely nice to have and kept my wife comfortable throughout the night. Enrique was our bartender and while he did hit me up as we were leaving for yet another tip, he was great throughout the entire night and kept bringing us our drinks and rounds of shots for us and the tables next to us! Yes, there was a guy (don't believe an actual club employee though) who would ask as you left if you "needed anything", but thankfully I never had to talk to him as he was always busy when I walked by... but kids, just say no to drugs and you'll be alright! Music was basic AF (perfect). I'm still drunk writing this review and it's 9AM the next morning. You walk in and it feels like a cave. It's darkly lit. There are small tables surrounded a tiered dance floor. It started to get really crowded around 11:30 PM. I highly recommend for a girls night- such fun, dance-y music AND clean bathrooms w no lines (score?!? where all the girls at in Cancun?!). Do yourself a favor, though, and get some sort of deal otherwise you'll be waiting in line forevz.

Once we stepped onto the deck overlooking the lagoon, the whole experience elevated even further. The scenery was stunning, soft lights reflecting off the water, a gentle breeze, and live music drifting through the air like the perfect soundtrack to an already unforgettable night. Then came the food, each dish was its own little masterpiece. The bread service alone set the tone: warm, golden rolls with just the right touch off salt. The wedge salad followed. It was crisp, cold, and generously dressed, with smoky bacon and bright tomatoes adding all the right contrasts. The dry-aged steak was the star of the table, cooked perfectly with that deep, rich flavor only dry-aging can create. The roasted peppers and silky sauce on the side made every bite feel intentional. The octopus was another standout, tender, beautifully charred, and plated with a vibrant puree that balanced the dish with a touch of sweetness. One of the best plates we had. The table got more entrees since there were 8 of us but didn't get pictures. Sea brass was another favorite. Even the lobster soup arrived with flair: a velvety bowl paired with a seafood-topped toast that brought texture and richness together in one elegant bite. The beef tartare with fries was classic and fresh, refined without losing its fun. Dessert turned into a full performance. The liquid-nitrogen ice cream came with swirling clouds of cold vapor, dramatic and delicious. The birthday cake arrived crowned with berries and a sparkling candle that lit up the whole table. And just when we thought the night couldn't get any more whimsical, out came the towering blue cotton candy, playful, over-the-top, and impossible not to smile at. Harry's doesn't just serve dinner. It creates an experience, one where the service, the scenery, the atmosphere, and the food all work together to make you feel celebrated. Our night felt luxurious, thoughtful, and truly unforgettable for my husband's 50th birthday! Well done Harry's!
