From the moment we walked into Harry's in Cancun, we were treated like royalty. The staff didn't just greet us; they welcomed us with the kind of warmth and attention that makes you feel like the entire evening was designed around you. Once we stepped onto the deck overlooking the lagoon, the whole experience elevated even further. The scenery was stunning, soft lights reflecting off the water, a gentle breeze, and live music drifting through the air like the perfect soundtrack to an already unforgettable night. Then came the food, each dish was its own little masterpiece. The bread service alone set the tone: warm, golden rolls with just the right touch off salt. The wedge salad followed. It was crisp, cold, and generously dressed, with smoky bacon and bright tomatoes adding all the right contrasts. The dry-aged steak was the star of the table, cooked perfectly with that deep, rich flavor only dry-aging can create. The roasted peppers and silky sauce on the side made every bite feel intentional. The octopus was another standout, tender, beautifully charred, and plated with a vibrant puree that balanced the dish with a touch of sweetness. One of the best plates we had. The table got more entrees since there were 8 of us but didn't get pictures. Sea brass was another favorite. Even the lobster soup arrived with flair: a velvety bowl paired with a seafood-topped toast that brought texture and richness together in one elegant bite. The beef tartare with fries was classic and fresh, refined without losing its fun. Dessert turned into a full performance. The liquid-nitrogen ice cream came with swirling clouds of cold vapor, dramatic and delicious. The birthday cake arrived crowned with berries and a sparkling candle that lit up the whole table. And just when we thought the night couldn't get any more whimsical, out came the towering blue cotton candy, playful, over-the-top, and impossible not to smile at. Harry's doesn't just serve dinner. It creates an experience, one where the service, the scenery, the atmosphere, and the food all work together to make you feel celebrated. Our night felt luxurious, thoughtful, and truly unforgettable for my husband's 50th birthday! Well done Harry's!

Harrys was fantastic! Such a gorgeous view and atmosphere. Everyone is so welcoming and hospitable. The food is delicious and the menu is great. This is definately one of our new favorites in Cancun!

Lobster Bisque

Amazing service and delicious food! Oysters & smoked crab so good we came back a few days later. Harry's burger and filet also amazing, will definitely return when I come back to mexico !

Seriously I'm surprised because I haven't think that they will have like this kind of restaurant because the service is high. Food is amazing and the vibe too. Prices are good too. I recommended hundred percent.

Food and service was nothing short of excellence. The staff treated us like family from start to finish. We had a large group of 16 and we all left satisfied. Manuel, Rodrigo, Fernando were the best!

The girlfriend and I were in Cancun for New Years. We were staying at the SLS, and we hired an old friend of mine to come take professional photos of us. After getting done with the photo shoot, we invited them to dinner outside the resort. A colleague of mine recommended Harry's, to which we agreed to come dine here. This place is elegant, and the food more than matches this vibe. We sat down, and ordered drinks while we waited for our food. We all ordered filet mignon each, with a variety of sides to include sweet potato puree, as well as macaroni and cheese. The food exceeded my expectation, even the dinner bread was tasty and a bit addicting. The highlight was their signature cotton candy, which came on a display showing the restaurant name. The service here was very good. Our waiter took good care of us. He and the staff kept a tight ship, delivering great and efficient service. The other patrons were a mix of fellow tourists as well as locals, and all added to this elegant vibe. Harry's was most definitely a highlight of our New Years Cancun excursion. I highly recommend it!

Arturo and Roció were just fabulous servers. They made us feel welcome and comfortable the moment we walked in. We went at 6:30 and had a great time watching the sun set as we nibbled on shrimp cocktail. We shared the tomahawk and Harry's potatoes. It was our anniversary and we were presented with such a nice cake as surprise. Had we known we would have ordered the ice cream to go with instead of the carrot cake!! Though it was fabulous. Had a photo souvenir taken and ended the meal with cotton candy! All in all a lovely meal and the detail Harry's puts into their service is beyond. (Lighted menus, etc).

One of our favorites from our short time in Cancun. Truly beautiful setting. We sat outdoors overlooking the lagoon. Loved the lush foliage that decorated our surroundings. The service was very friendly and attentive. The bread they bring to the table with a few spreads was very tasty A nice start to the evening. The cocktails were also very good. We started with Caprese Burrata, it was delicious. I had the Chilean sea bass and my husband had the filet minon. Both were seasoned perfectly. We ended the meal with a panacotta which was also very yummy. And of course their signature cotton candy when the bill came. Really beautiful place. They have a piano bar inside and a live singer. Overall a very nice evening out

We had several great dinners while in Cancun, but Harry's was definitely my favorite (Also ate at Ilios and Porfirio's which I both enjoyed). The service from our waiter, David, was outstanding. I ordered the Australian Wagyu filet, and it was possibly the best filet I've ever had. Adding the lobster tail made it even better. I finished with the Harry's Pie for dessert, which didn't disappoint. We were celebrating our anniversary, and the staff went out of their way to make the evening feel special. They brought a dessert and even took a Polaroid photo of us to take home, which was a thoughtful touch. If I return to Cancun, Harry's will be a must.

This review is not only for Harry's but Harry's sister restaurant as well... Nicolette's! Same company both a complete disappointment!!! Harry's was so over priced it was like getting robbed on the street! When you go to an upscale steak house the last thing you should ever expect is your salad to come out with your entree's They did! Steak which when on display was supposed to be "tender and flavorful" it was tough and bland. I happened to order the Lamb Rack...medium!! It came out basically raw but I was told by my server it was medium! After cutting into it in front of the manager he saw it was raw and went to cook it further... crumb topping was now not evident and lamb was dry! Between the over dressed Caesar salad and the entire meal showing up all at once the $315 price tag was ridiculous!!! This after they took off the lamb and salad!! Nicoletta...could be the worst experience I have ever had...since my hand is tired of typing let's just say burnt gnocchi bolognese and a warm $56 bottle of Pinot Grigio that then was removed from my table for over 20 minutes brought back only to be charged for a second bottle of water says it all!!! PLEASE!!!! Do not waste your money!!!

Me and my boyfriend came here for our 2 year anniversary and it was great! The ambiance was amazing during sunset and perfect for photos. The staff was awesome - the manager came and checked up on us, they gave us free champagne and dessert to celebrate and they even came over to take a polaroid photo for us as a keepsake! As for food to start they brought out the brioche buns which were light and fluffy goodness. We got the crab and artichoke dip which was yummy - 8/10. We also got the crab legs which were okay but a little dry - 7/10. For our mains I got the grilled octopus which was so so good - 9/10 and i got a side of sweet corn with truffled cream (must get!!) - 100/10. My boyfriend got the filet with lobster mac and cheese and he said it was great!! Overall I'm so happy we came here to celebrate. The staff was 10/10 and made our day very special. Thank you harrys!!!

The waitstaff was incredible chivalrous and attentative throughout the dinner. There are so many good angles for pics and photo ops. The food is cooked incredibly well. We had the waygu, crab cake, and artichoke & lobster starters, then the NY strip and everything was fantastic. Edgar and Pedro are spectacular, their attention and the DJ during the dinner kept the energy and vibe going

All-in-all it was worth the inconvenience. Very eclectic menu, warm atmosphere and outstanding service. I started withe the Mango-Tamarind: Lettuce, Indian walnut, mango, blueberries, Cotija cheese, mango-habanero dressing and tamarind billet. Unique and tasty. "Swiss Chicken Enchiladas" for the main course was not what you get at a local Mexican joint -- Four tortillas stuffed with chicken, bathed in a creamy tomatillo sauce with melted cheese and a base of refried black beans. This was a 5-star dish! I couldn't resist ordering a side dish though I didn't need to because the enchiladas were really enough, so I indulged myself with fries: these were not your run of the mill French fries. Porfirio's Potatoes -- French fries with chipotle pepper aioli, parmesan cheese and parsley. Finally, if you like ice cream I highly recommend that you order BOTH offerings: 1) "ICE CREAM TASTING" - Strawberry ice cream, chocolate ice cream from Metate, marzipan ice cream and vanilla from Papantla. Served with grated coconut, chocolate grain, M&M's, Oreo cookies and ice cream cones; and, 2) "PORFIRIO'S MOLECULAR ICE CREAM" - served with cajeta Worcestershire sauce in an ice cream cone. (I know it sounds disgusting right? Nope it worked. The chef is just showing off with this dish)

I took some notes and this is what I thought of the dishes. Xoajacan Imoladas - The mole is perfection. The flautas, superb. Everything in this plate is a symphony of what I would expect from Xoajaca. 9.5/10 Barbacoa Bonemarrow - Barcacoa is on point. The Marrow is Sublime. Together with the accompaniments is superb. I dream of Marrow everyday. This is a 10/10 Yellow fin Tosatadas - Superb!!! One of the best tostadas I have ever had. The microgreens, the sauce and the square Tostada works well all together. 8.8/10 Salmon - Cooked perfectly. The corn is a great accompaniment. The fish is impeccably seasoned. This dish is heaven sent with a 9.8/10 Grilled Octopus - Grilled perfectly, I can tell by the texture. The mash is superb, they used margarine instead of butter and I absolutely love the contrast from the traditional mash. 9.8/10 Mexican Rice - Its pretty good. It does have a nice seafoodish finish. The pepper was actually spicy. Nice and pleasant rice dish. 8/10 Charred Avocado Salad - Grilled avocado is a bit of a wash. It did make it look good on the plate. The dressing is a little weak. Needs a little more zip, some citrus or vinegar would give this salad some justice. Its a little uninspired 7/10 Service is impeccable and attentive and the atmosphere is lovely.

If you are not staying at the hotel, be sure you tell the gate keeper that you are going to this restaurant when approaching the hotel. The workers will point you towards the restaurant. The hotel itself is beautiful, it feels like you are walking through an indoor plant nursery. The meal started off at the bar outside of the dining area, where reimagined cocktails are served before your meal. My party and I were served by Luis here who was the sweetest and thoughtful. Luis's cocktails set the expectations very high. Then you are moved to the dining area where you are offered a wine menu and the appetizers and entrees begin coming out. Each dish was explained and plated perfectly. They are small plates, not full plate coursed meals. I wish the cocktails were served at the end of the meal as the heavy sweetness factor did fill us up by the middle of the dinner, we were stuffed. If you are in cancun I believe that this is a necessary stop in your itinerary. For around 125USD per person you will have a classy dining experience. Email the restaurant beforehand to make a reservation, they're not the best with their communication but once you get a reservation, you have no worries. But, after debating and reading some reviews, we decided to call (at 7pm) and see if La Buena Barra had any open tables for 7:30. Since Cancún dinner culture generally ramps up after 8, we were in luck and headed to the restaurant. We were warmly greeted by the host team and escorted promptly to a great table outside, overlooking the lagoon and the last bits of sunset in the sky. The ambience of La Buena Barra is amazing, great lighting, ceiling fans to keep a light breeze going, and music that is loud enough to prevent you from hearing conversations at other tables, but still allowed us to talk just fine. Our servers Jonathan and Estefany were the sweetest and most attentive that we experienced during our trip! Excellent food recommendations, even advising against getting a second dessert (due to their size) instead of just letting us spend more money there. Absolutely worthy of 5 star service! Ok- the food: very good, probably some of the more distinct flavors we enjoyed in Cancun. Also a very unique selection of cocktails, delivered in all sorts of unique glasses. BUT truly the best thing we ate was the corn ice cream! It's molded ice cream that looks exactly like an ear of white corn with a ribbon of dulce de leche in the center- honestly the best ice cream I've ever eaten at a restaurant! Prices per person can easily exceed $1000 pesos here depending on what you get, but it's possible to enjoy the experience on a budget. We shared an appetizer (empanadas, highly recommend), shared a large entree (ribeye tacos, comes with 7), a cocktail, side of corn, and dessert- ended up being around $1200 plus tip.
