After a few days of indulging in tacos and other Mexican delicacies my group and I decided to take a stop at Hooters. While this was mostly a joke stop, we actually had a pretty great time. We ordered 50 wings (30 buffalo and 20 garlic parm) and service was fairly fast. Our waitress Yuli made sure that everything was great and she was attentive. The location advertises itself as the "World's smallest Hooters" and I think that might be to its detriment. The space was really small and cramped. Everyone at our table was almost on top of each other. I recommend the location to anyone in the area especially if you are in the hotel zone since there are discounts available for guests. read more

They changed the setup of this location, which was disappointing. It used to have a big outdoor area that was on the water. Now it is inside a small building in the La Isla mall. Wings were still delicious and the service was good. They have high chairs and a kids menu for anyone with young kids. Went with their hot sauce with an extra side of sauce. They advertise as the world's smallest Hooters but they had about 20 tables so didn't look small. However they used to occupy a huge space right on the bay and had beautiful sunset views. Everything was great but the music was way too loud for a lunchtime. Our server was great, always with a big smile. Our food was actually spectacular. We had fish and chips and it was better than any I had in the states for months. Curly fries were perfect and the Cole slaw was great also, having a very unique taste between sweet and tart. I visited here with a small group since we were all tired of eating food at our hotel. For the most part, we had a good experience here, and surprisingly this meal was one of the better ones we had all trip. We only dined out 2 times in 4 days, so limited eating out experience but the wings were nicely sized and served whole here, compared to the US where they are very tiny at most Hooters these days, and served as wingettes. We chose the naked wings, with mild and habanero bbq and everyone's fav were the habanero bbq since they had a bit of spice to them. The mild flavor just tasted weird. Only one hiccup during our visit, I had asked our waitress if one item was for sale at their merchandise area, and she said yes, but was taking a long time to show me the item. After about 15 mins, she came back to the table and then said sorry but that item isn't for sale to customers... so that's a shame. read more

The only problem I had here is when the bill came. I told the waitress to enter a $16 USD tip. When the receipt was printed it was over $1000 pesos for the tip alone which is over $50 USD. When we questioned the waitress she said it the exchange fee that made it more. We asked for the manager and he acted as if he was confused. We asked to have the tip removed from the card so we could just tip in cash. The whole process took forever to complete and I'm not sure if it was actually done since it takes time to refund back to the card. But it's been 5 days and so far it hasn't been refunded. read more

I visited the La Isla Hooters a few times on my recent trip to Cancun. The wings are fantastic. I also like the Philly cheesesteak sandwich and my brother loved the teriyaki salmon with pasta. The view is nice. There is no air conditioning because it's all open but there are fans over each table. When I visited this same Hooters 6 months ago there was a family sitting at the table next to me. A little boy started crying so one of the Hooters girls came over and took him away, he stopped crying immediately. She brought him back with crayons, something to draw on, and some small toys. When you pay with a credit card you can select from three different tip amounts, I believe it's 5%, 10%, and 15%. I always tip more than 15% unless service is bad. In my opinion the service is much better than any restaurant in the US. read more

Wanted a burger and Hooters was right in front of our hotel so we decided to check them out as we are familiar with this chain from the states. I ordered a Mojito which was okay ( nothing to write home about). I ordered a chicken sandwich and tator tots and was not impressed. The chicken had a very hard texture and was very difficult to eat. I paid extra to add bacon and there was only 1 small burnt slice of bacon on my chicken sandwich. Our party also ordered a burger and we had to ask for salt because it had no flavor. Camila was a good server but sabe your money and go else where. We paid around $40 or $200 MX and it was not worth it. I did not finish my meal and left hungry. read more

Hooters food you know what you are getting. Nothing wrong with that . We went this evening All was good until there was an error on the bill , not a big deal but the way the manager handled it was . After asking about the charge he said the bill was closed out and preceded to go get the waitress saying it was her mistake and basically she was to pay me out of pocket trying to make a scene embarrassing us so we would go away. Of course I would not take money from a hard working waitress who did her job. So we just gave her the money back that the manager was insisting we take & left knowing my only recourse was this . Make sure you check your bill for accuracy before you pay and keep a copy for yourself . This place is trash. We got ignored until we asked if our waitress was going to be available soon. The waitress asked if we were ready with a snotty attitude, then took our order, but made it seem like she was doing us a favor. Didn't even ask if we were celebrating anything. This was the start of my bachelor party, we were actually ready to walk out if it wasn't for my father-in-law that had been jonesing some hooters wings all day. I had never been to a hooters before this one. The staff was very nice and made both the men and women in the group feel welcome. The buffalo dip appetizer was delicious and we loved the 3 for 2 margarita special they had going on. The environment was welcoming and we got to catch one of the fights my husband wanted to see on the TVs. read more

So here's the skinny...this is the World's Smallest Hooters! But...it's also the only open air Hooters! It's so much fun and you can really enjoy yourself if you let loose! There is also a deal to be had on Tuesday's and Thursday's! All you can eat wings and fries for $199 pesos, which is about $12 USD. You cannot beat that! My wife and I were desperate for some American food after spending the week in Cancun. The service was standard here. Menu prices were surprisingly similar to there American locations. Come on. It's Hooters so you get what you expect. On Tuesdays and Thursday's they have all you can eat wings and fries for about $10USD. Can't beat that with a stick. The beer is cold and American (which if you travel a lot is sorely missed sometimes). SECRET MENU: Went with the wings and went off menu and ordered them naked with the dry rub they put on the fries. What better way than to watch the World Cup games, drink a Mexican beer, and snack on a few wings. We were in cancun and our hotel was not carrying the game so we ventured out, found a nice American restaurant that we called to make sure the game was on. We actually went twice, and both times the food was good, the view of the Bay Area was nice at sunset, but we most enjoyed the soccer atmosphere in Mexico. People were really getting into the game...the place was glad we won. Place is on the small side, but they have lots of tvs to make up for it, lots of cold beer and lots of wings. The flavors are a bit different and the menu also, but it's pretty close, so you'll enjoy it. It's in a large shopping area, so you have to look for it, and make sure you sit in the hooters section, as there are 3 restaurants in a row, and they are kinda hard to tell apart, if you just sit down... Best hooters I've been to hands down and I've been many places. The wings were the biggest I've ever ate at any hooters. The staff could be a little atentative to filling drinks a bit. I love Hooters- the vibe, the food, the staff... I love it. I have eaten at Hooters in dozens of states and in 8 different countries. And everything I love about Hooters is everything Hooters of Cancun is not. It was nothing like the fun, friendly atmosphere that Hooters represents and really shouldn't even be a part of the chain. I dined there with my brother at 10:15pm on 12/26/16. I was surprised to not even be greeted with the traditional "Bienvenido a Hooters!" Instead, I felt like it was a chore for them to serve us. We were at the bar area where Maggie, who would end up being our server, enjoyed flirting and talking with the male bartenders instead of greeting us. Once we were served, the bartender brought our drinks while insulting us in Spanish to Maggie. I however, speak Spanish and understood when he called us "vergas". I called them on it and Maggie plastered on a smile, took our order and never returned to complete the service. She, and many of the other Hooter girls did continue to flirt with the male bartenders who also ignored us. This was the first time in all of my visits to Hooters that I poured my own beer and wasn't even visited by other servers. We had to ask the manager to order other items. There was one server who was an exception to this. Minerva came to get a drink from the bar and saw my brother didn't have any chips with his nachos, so she brought us some. She was friendly, fun and attentive. The manager, Juan, was also a benefit to this restaurant. He listened to what we said and comped the meal. I was not expecting, nor did I ask for it, but appreciated it. I asked the bartenders their names because I was planning on writing a review and they said Luis and Alejandro. I asked the manager their names and he said it was Derly and Carlos. Even Juan was taken back by their blatant disregard and disrespect towards customers. These guys really do a disservice to the Hooters brand. I wouldn't go back to this location, or sit at the bar if these guys were still employed there. As for the food- The wings were Hooters delicious... plump, and perfectly flavored. The quesadilla was also really good. Nachos- not so much... Because the food and Minerva were excellent, I rated this restaurant two stars instead of one. My friend told me I could go to Hooters to find anything, so I went to find gorgeous women and great wings. I was sorely disappointed. Instead, I was left with boobs and diarrhea. No Mets game was played on the TV after I asked Alfredo my waiter to change it. He's a Sox fan so of course he wouldn't. I was panhandled by some jetski jabroni shortly after at a "luxury yacht rental" dock. Three days later, no yachts to be found yet. I departed to my hotel room with jersey torn, head hung low, and a belly filled with half price wings taking the expressway to Sh*tsburgh. Hooters has the WORST hotel accommodations I've ever stayed at. The bench was hard and there was no room service. I swore on Mike Piazza's catchers mit that I would never go here again. Worst Hooters I have been to, I have been to many. We ordered beers before ordering food, food arrived, no drinks, no setups. Told the waitress. After 15 min. I walked to the bar area to get setups because food was getting cold. Bar pointed at what looked to be the manager (grey shirt). He wouldn't give them to me but asked where we were sitting and stated he will bring them. I watched him from my seat to proceed in our direction, then handing the setups to waitress. Food was now cold. My fork was dirty so I scrubbed it. After we also found a hair in the food we were done - the waitress was surprised so much food was left and we explained -she just laughed. Poorly trained employees and useless manager who doesn't care. Cleanliness seems poor based on our experience. Great location though. 2 stars for the location. read more

I am not usually a fan of Hooters, but we went there to eat on a trip to Cancun and it was very good! It has a great location right on the water and is all outdoors. We went there twice, once for lunch and once for dinner to watch NCAA March Madness. There were several TVs making it easy to view. I ordered a really yummy chicken sandwich (Strip Cheese Chicken), which was honestly one of the best meals that I had all week. My family also liked their meals. The mixed drinks were only okay, so we opted for ice cold beer, which tasted great in the hot weather. The girls were so attentive at lunch especially. My daughter's name is Alexandra and one of the waitresses was Alejandra who was very excited to meet my then 1 year old. She gave her a balloon, let her wear her name badge for a picture and took a picture with her. It was very sweet how much attention they paid to hear and my daughter loved it!
