    Fish and chips

All-inclusive got us exploring all the restaurants here in Jw Marriot and Marriot. This place got karaoke every night (whaaaaa)! We ordered fish and chips, buffalo cauliflower, and onion rings. The service was ok. We got all of our food except one of my friend's orders never made it to our table. The fish was great, but nothing special. The onion rings were just ok also.

The half sampler platter: excellent onion rings, hot wings, sliders and cheesy bacon fries. Great dressings, too. A very good dish.

Exhausted by a full day of exploring and a merciless sun, and with few other nearby food options, we dove headlong into a sports bar/restaurant you could find anywhere in the States. And the food and service were great. Just know this: the half order of the sampler plate delivers an absolute ton of food: wings, onion rings, sliders and fries covered with real melted cheese and bacon bits. Everything was great except the sliders were bland. The dish also comes with four excellent sauces, including chunky blue cheese and an awesome green goddess dressing. Seriously, where in the world can you can get that? The shrimp tacos were stuffed full of breaded shrimp and were very good. TVs are everywhere and they show a variety of different sports. It's an American sports bar in the heart of Cancun. It doesn't pretend to be anything else. And for what it is, it's very good.

    Karaoke from 10pm.

Had Fish n Chips. Big portion and lots of fries. Was satisfying. Fish tacos were good too. Lots of beer choices. Local and imports. Only thing was that all the sodas are in cans, so had to order double. Karaoke every night from 10pm. But no one was singing. :(. Lots of TVs playing all sorts of sports. It was nice place since we didn't wanna go far from our hotel.

Sports bar is right outside to the left of the grand entrance.

In the past this place has always been a staple for us, but each year we go we like it a little less. This year majority of the group was disappointed in the entire experience from the service to the food. To start, the service was lacking compared to what we get at other local restaurants nearby. Our servers did not frequently come back to ask if we needed anything and we were constantly having to ask to get our waters refilled. The drinks are good, but nothing we can't get elsewhere. Half of our group enjoyed (but not loved) their food and half did not enjoy. My SO and I split the al pastor meal. In the past we have loved this, but this time it felt like they rushed to make it and the flavors we remembered just weren't there. It was still good, but I think it could have been better. I do love the churro cart here, but you can get good churros several other places. Overall, this place has gone downhill in our opinion, and for the price it isn't worth it when there so many better options close by. I'm sure we will be back, but I think we might skip a year stopping here.

The nachos are standard but hit the spot when you're there to simply chill. Note: this restaurant can get really loud because of the TV/sports which attracts a particular party crowd. Service was very good. We had 2 bartenders, and they were both super attentive. The food was really good. They had quite a few sauces that I've never seen at any of the Hooters I've ever eaten at in the US. I was craving veggies, and an American chain restaurant seemed like a good place to get them in Mexico. My dish, the Cowboy chicken, was great. It came with steamed veggies (just ok. Once we stepped onto the deck overlooking the lagoon, the whole experience elevated even further. The scenery was stunning, soft lights reflecting off the water, a gentle breeze, and live music drifting through the air like the perfect soundtrack to an already unforgettable night. Then came the food, each dish was its own little masterpiece. The bread service alone set the tone: warm, golden rolls with just the right touch off salt. The wedge salad followed. It was crisp, cold, and generously dressed, with smoky bacon and bright tomatoes adding all the right contrasts. The dry-aged steak was the star of the table, cooked perfectly with that deep, rich flavor only dry-aging can create. The roasted peppers and silky sauce on the side made every bite feel intentional. The octopus was another standout, tender, beautifully charred, and plated with a vibrant puree that balanced the dish with a touch of sweetness. One of the best plates we had. The table got more entrees since there were 8 of us but didn't get pictures. Sea brass was another favorite. Even the lobster soup arrived with flair: a velvety bowl paired with a seafood-topped toast that brought texture and richness together in one elegant bite. The beef tartare with fries was classic and fresh, refined without losing its fun. Dessert turned into a full performance. The liquid-nitrogen ice cream came with swirling clouds of cold vapor, dramatic and delicious. The birthday cake arrived crowned with berries and a sparkling candle that lit up the whole table. And just when we thought the night couldn't get any more whimsical, out came the towering blue cotton candy, playful, over-the-top, and impossible not to smile at. Harry's doesn't just serve dinner. It creates an experience, one where the service, the scenery, the atmosphere, and the food all work together to make you feel celebrated. Our night felt luxurious, thoughtful, and truly unforgettable for my husband's 50th birthday! Well done Harry's!
