They also have gifts , toys and household appliances like paint, brooms , mops and plenty of tools. The prices here are fairly good. I always find what I'm looking for here so I have no complaints.

I went in there recently to buy a wrench to tweak the saddle height on my bike and was not too amused. One of the employees made it clear that he didn't want me working on my bike there, which I wasn't planning to do. My plan was to buy the wrench and work on the bike outside. The guy at the checker did not seem too knowledgeable or interested in helping. I went in there expecting them to take a look at the part I wanted to work on and to be given some advice on how to take it on. I left with a wrench that did not help me with the repair i needed, and was told that I could not return the tool even though I had purchased it about 2 minutes before. I don't typically leave reviews, but I hope that this can motivate small shops like this one to continue to do all that they can when someone comes in requesting some guidance. I was in need of some home improvement supplies, and since I was in the neighborhood it only made sense for me to stop here, so off I went. I always felt this Depot was in a weird area Pelham Gardens, the commercial strip is pretty developed but the golf club across the street has been empty and overgrown for years, and the now closed Pelham Bay Diner is looking more dilapidated with each passing day. Anyway, back to the Depot - it's really no different from other locations I've been to - the inside is large and from what I saw, they were well stocked. I was able to find what I came for with ease, I can't speak for the helpfulness of the floor staff since I didn't need any help, however I did interact with some of the staff at checkout who were great. It also looks like they reorganized the checkout so that it's one line and you are taken care of my whichever cashier is available. Overall, I had a good experience at this Home Depot. I was able to quickly find what I needed, and the checkout process was smooth. I would definitely consider returning for my next home improvement project.

It is basically self service, the people here truly do not care and the level of service is so low that it would be easier and less work to walk to the Home Depot further away which makes me sad as i want to support small business but this place is a real mixed bag of NUTS. Another local hardware store is Warshaw south/down 3rd ave. They at least are helpful.
