At another construction snafu, I realized I needed anchors instead of toggle bolts. I called 7 minutes to closing and then ran - they already had the item at the counter - I checked out, they locked the door behind me, and I went home happy (doesn't it suck when you just need one thing to finish the job and the store is closed? not with fulton hardware!) I just feel so taken care of by them :) Yes, you could find items cheaper but when you buy a 1k tv and a $150 mount are you really sweating the $6 vs $10 worth of hardware? it's $4 difference and they make sure it's perfect and no shipping. (also I bought the same toggle bolts and washers and drill bit of a kit online that was 17.99 - all hardware separately from fulton? 14.49. so sometimes it's cheaper!) they cut wood (including ripping plywood sheets!) and have a nifty screw identifier so if you bring any screw they can find the same width - metric or imperial!

I was on Fulton street and walked into this store that I accidentally found while in the area. I walked in requesting a copy of my keys and the owner asked if I wanted him to make only a copy of my keys and why not the FOB, too? I told him that he couldn't do that and that only my building could. The owner reassured me that he had all the equipment in that store and he would be able to CLONE my FOB so I'd have an extra set of keys and a FOB just in case I lost my original ones. He was right! I live in Brooklyn and when I got home even the FOB worked. This place gave me great customer service and really came through. They certainly know what they are doing. This is a neighborhood mom and pop $.99 store that is still fairly new and people in Howard Beach try to always support mom and pop establishments. Last week 2 women from the neighborhood came in to go shopping. a Chinese lady working there looked at one of the women who she recognized and said "Wow your face got so fat what happened, lol" Well what had happened was the woman has Cancer and her body is swollen from the medication.
